My group, Chubby Fanatics, has a contest running where you can win an epic subscription and additional character slots. If enough people enter the contest, there will also be a raffle with a chance of having your character drawn by me!

You need to be a member of CF. You do NOT HAVE TO HAVE A CHUBBY CHAR TO JOIN!! People seem to misunderstand this often. -Anyone- can join, 's long as you like chubby females.

You don't need to be an amazing artist or storyteller. Photo collages depicting the hair type, bodytype, marks etc. are things anyone can make with Paint. You can write a detailed, clear description as well, this counts as an entry. If you have a unique way of depicting a character design, don't hold back and go for it. It's the design that matters, so please feel free to express that anyway you like! This contest aims to cater to everyone's creativity.

How many entries can a single person submit? Like if I had three different ideas, do I have to pick one?

Yes, though you can always change which entry is your chosen one at any given time, as long as it's before the due date. There are multiple prizes, so if multiple entries were chosen for the prizes it wouldn't be fair to the other participants who maybe only had time to submit one entry.

Okay, I may have missed this, but can the character be one we've made already or does it have to be new? There has been one rolling in my head for a week or so I want to use. Also, would it be weird to have that character someday on the RPR? Lastly, sorry for rambling and does a drawing need to be a complete color and shading, or can linework speak for itself until a later date? Just not sure if I have time to color something fully unless its going to be used ><

Question two, i know it just needs to be able to work as a base, but what size/ratio is your final product intended to be? Like, are we talking banner, icon, main page picture? It should help us figure out how to make something workable.

Also, I'm bad... I'd rather get second than first. I wonder if I can try for that. I'd rather five permanent slots than be teased with epic for a few months and then have my listed characters shrink.

It's up to you what kind of char you go with (has to be female and chubby to fit the group theme though!), but it may complicate things if you end up making a char with that design. The winning design will be used frequently around the group, and maybe even outside the group on different sites, and probably come forward in future contests. While the characters themselves may be different, I can imagine a lot of people will be confused about it.

I'd personally rather avoid that, but I've no qualms about you re-using the design, as long as we get to keep it for our group as well.


All of the above? I intend to create various pieces of artwork of her (mostly because the winning entry may not be artwork and therefore needs some visualization anyway), so anything goes as long as it's detailed enough to give a clear picture. If you want to make something fitting for a banner, you can, but I'd most prefer something clear and simple that can be referenced from and be applied for virtually anything.


If you win the first place, you can also choose from 5 perm slots + 1 month of epicness. It's mostly about the value (4 months of epicness is $20, but so are 5 slots + 1 month), so if you want to combine things or switch them out, then just let me know and I can do that for you.

Because November is National Novel Writing Month. So I'm gonna be swamped then.

Is it possible to gift epic status / extra character slots now? I know it was asked for a while ago but it doesn't seem to have been added. (At least when I look at the option to buy an epic month / get more slots.)

No, but Kim can manually assign it when I send her the money. Perhaps with the new version of RPR she'll implement this to be giftable somehow! That would be cool.

It's been worked on. I've determined at this point I will not be able to get it into the redesign's initial launch just due to time constraints and the number of other things that will be required, so I tucked the loose wires back in quietly and put a rug over them for the launch. I expect to take them back out and keep working on them when I've got the rest ready to go.

Anyway, short answer, I expect it will certainly be out well before her contest deadline of November 30th. In the meanwhile, I am indeed happy to manually assign things for you.
