Looking down, Jessebelle saw that the bleeding had stopped, but the cuts stubbornly refused to leave. "Why won't the wounds go away?" She asked, using some of her energy to try to close one of the smaller wounds. No matter which wound she tried, none of them would fully heal.

"Looks as if..... They leave scars..... Other than that they're....... Fine." Neil said through panting, exhausted from the multiple portals and healing her. Today definitely wasn't being kind to him.

Sitting up, Jessebelle gingerly moved over on the bed and patted the area beside her. "Lay down, and that's an order." She smiled, laying back down on the pillow.

Blushing and not wanting to disobey an order, Neil climbed Into bed next to her but faced the other way as to not make her feel uncomfortable.

In minutes, Jessebelle had fallen asleep with Neil at her side giving her a sense of safety that she hadn't had since the attack. Sometime while she was asleep, she managed to turn over without waking and snuggle up to Neil's back.

Neil fell asleep quickly, his strength returning as he dozed. Sometime in his sleep as well he rolled over and put his arm protectively around jessebelle, as if his subconscious was trying to say that he would not let anyone take her from his safety right now.

Jessebelle woke up hours later to her stomach rumbling and a missing body beside her. Where did Neil go? She wondered, getting up gingerly. She noticed that she now had bandages around her torso, arms, and legs where the worst of the wounds were. "I wonder if Neil did all this." She smiled to herself, looking around her dark room.

(Lets say Neil is making her breakfast.)

Neil stood in the kitchen over a stove, cooking her breakfast and trying to stop thinking about what he woke up to see. He was lying close next to the mistress, their faces merely a centimeter away from one another and his arm wrapped around her. Pushing the thought out of his mind for now Neil put her breakfast of waffles and orange Juice on a plate and walked to her room, hoping the bandages he had put on her were holding up.

Sitting back on the pillows behind her, she saw that she was just wearing the bandages and no shirt on top of them. I surely hope it wasn't Neil who put the bandages on my torso. She thought hard, her face getting a deep red shade.

Neil walked into the room with her plate. "Hello mistress. Did you sleep well?" He asked as he walked to her with the plate.

Jessebelle looked up, startled from Neil's sudden appearance. "Yes." She said, determined not to bring up what happened last night. "So...." She tried changing the subject, looking at the delicious food on the plate.

Neil set the food in her lap and backed away. "Sorry for your lack of clothing on your upper half mistress, but I thought it would make you more comfortable if I put you in them." He apologized.

Blushing deeply, Jessebelle quickly took a bite of her waffles. "These are good." She mumbled, her mouth full of food. She was trying to avoid the subject, while her mind wondered if he put the bandages on her upper half, or if he got another female to do it.

"Thank you mistress." he said with a smile. Unable to bear it anymore, Neil bowed and apologized. "I didn't look or touch while I put them on I swear!" He said.

Her face turning an even deeper shade of red, Jessebelle put her fork down and bit her lip. "Well..... Thank you." She said, avoiding his gaze. He probably could have gotten someone else to put them on. But maybe he just cares about me that much. She argued with herself for a few minutes, picking up her fork again and continuing to eat.

Neil sat on the floor nibbling at some bread he had gotten from his room. He was hungry but he only had been getting his bread as food recently. "So your father would like for you to stay in bed today so you can get better." He said.

"Ugh, I guess I have no choice then?" Jessebelle said grumpily, finishing her waffles and OJ. She laid back in bed, carefully putting one hand under her head.

Neil walked to her side and sat on the ground. "So............." He said, trying to make conversation.
