"We're really in hell." She continued to mumble, astonished. The shadow beasts around her had been left behind when they had traveled through the portal, unable to travel with them because they were created on the earth plane. "I had no clue it really existed." Jessebelle looked around, not seeing much except dancing shadows.

Neil nodded in agreement. "Our home." Was all he said as he looked around at it all.


(Are her parents alive or dead?)

(Dad is alive, he is the king of the punishment division. Mother is dead because she had been a human soul that the king had fallen for, making her alive once more. Hence being half-demon.)

"Our?" Jessebelle asked, noticing that Neil's features were clearer down here then up on the surface. "Am I really from hell?" She asked, thinking the situation over.

Neil nodded a yes. "You are the princess of the punishment division of hell. Come, we must go see him." He said, leading the way.

"Princess??""She asked, following Neil only because she didn't want to be by herself.

Neil lead the way to a large castle in the middle of the part of hell they were in. Opening the door he lead the way to the center of the throne room and bowed toward the throne. "Master, I have returned with her."

Jessebelle followed Neil into the castle, watching in awe as the servants in the courtyard bowed to her. When they got to the throne room, she looked up at the man in front of her unafraid. He had green eyes and a red tint to his skin, like he had been sunburn really badly, and black hair with horns sticking from hi temples.

(You be the king, I don't wana. Lol.)

"Excellent work Neil. Now off with you. I wish to speak to my daughter after all of this time." The man on the throne said. Neil exited the room and went to his own, sitting on the bed with his jacket across his lap. The man stood from his throne and walked slowly over to jessebelle. "It feels like an eternity since I saw you, my daughter." He said.

Jessebelle watched Neil leave the room, going into another hallway off the throne room. Watching the man carefully, Jessebelle counted the differences and similarities in them. "I didn't know I had a father." She spoke up, looking into his eyes unafraid.

The man grabbed her in a hug and held her close, crying as only a rather who had been reunited with his child could be. "I thought I might have lost you along with your mother." He said, his arms wrapped around her.

Surprised to be hugged so quickly without any proof she was actually his daughter, Jessebelle stood stiff while he cried. "Waht happened to my mother?" She asked, moving her head to try to look at him.

The father released her and looked at her very depressed at the thought. "She was human. Unlike me she aged and died, her soul in paradise." The king walked back closer to the throne. "And to answer another question I know you wish to ask, I know for a fact you are my daughter. Flames would've engulfed that servant boy if he found the wrong person. He owes you his life and his servitude."

"Oh..." Jessebelle mumbled to both statements, the idea of having her own servant a little over the top. "Why was I raised in an orphanage instead of with you?" She asked, the question popping into her mind.

"Hell is no place to raise a child. I was originally having you and the servant boy raised on the earth plane but the boy was murdered and I found him wandering the grounds of purgatory. Thinking of no other rational option I had most of his wounds stitched up and had him live in the house with the other servants as teachers. He is a trained mage, bard, alchemist, magic fighter, and healer."

"Ok." Jessebelle said, listening to his explanation. When she heard what Neil was trained in her mouth dropped open, unbelieving. "How old is he?" She asked impolitely, clearly untrained herself in anything.

Her father scratched his chin. "I don't really remember. How old are you, dear?" He asked, trying to get a good look at things.

"I'm fifteen, I turn sixteen in a week or two." She said, surprised her birthday was so close.

"Then that would make him sixteen, his birthday not for another year. Anyway, you should get him to show you to your room. I''ll he here if you have any more questions for me." He said.

Jessebelle nodded and walked out of the throne room through the same door Neil had, trying to find his room in the large castle. She might had passed it once or twice as she roamed the halls, lost as she could be.

Sensing her roaming the halls, Neil teleported behind her. "Are you lost, mistress?" He asked kindly.
