"Oh, come on! Tell me straight up if you like it or not." Jessebelle laughed, laying back on the bed. The canopy above her glittered with the lighting in the room, purple sparkles making the bed look even better. "If I asked the room to put some outlets in my room do you think it would?" She asked as an after thought, the room too quiet for her liking.
Neil thought for a moment. "I might be able to add something to the room that allows you to call any type of store into a room connected to this one." He offered, though it would take him some time.
"Cool." Jesebelle said, wondering how much magik he knew and if she knew any that she didn't know of. "So, I could, like, get starbucks?"
Neil shrugged. "Probably. This is something I haven't tried yet but there's always a first time for everything." He said with a smile.
"Hmm... Ok, just don't blow up my room." She smiled, walking into the closet and taking down a red, white, and blue bikini and putting it on. A couple minutes later she went back into the room and stood at the edge of the room right behind a cut in the floor. "Neil, you might want to stand at the edge of the room for a couple minutes unless you want to get wet." She smiled, looking at him sincerely.
Neil turned his head to keep from looking at her once she was in the bikini and did what he was told. "Why would I get wet?" He asked her.
A devilish smile spreading across her face, Jessbelle turned to the floor in front of her. "Open at .5 seconds please." She said, the floor opening from in front of her and deepening into a swimming pool that descended to ten feet at one end and four feet at the other.
(Did you get the message I sent you with her floor plan to get an idea of the pool?)
(Did you get the message I sent you with her floor plan to get an idea of the pool?)
Neil looked at the pool with a smile. "Awesome. Mind if I join you, mistress?" He asked her, his face lit up with happiness. He hadn't been to a pool since he was a child so being able to swim in one again would be pretty neat.
"Of course. It would be no fun by myself." She laughed, pointing to the closet doors. "I put some swim trunks in there just in case you wanted to join me anyways." Jessebelle winked, going over to her bed and standing on the edge. In front of her was the deep end of the pool, she hadn't thought of adding a diving board. "Diving board right here please." She announced, a diving board hanging over the edge of the pool a moment later. "Hurry up, time is ticking." Jessebelle took a running start and initiated a perfect dive into the pool.
Neil walked over to the closet and changed into the bathing suit, taking off his other clothes and leaving them hanging up in the closet as he walked out, stitching up the side of his face and standing at the stairs of the pool. He wasn't wearing a shirt so she would be able to see one large row of stitches going diagonally across his chest. Climbing onto the diving board he jumped off into the water, letting it surround him.
Jessebelle emerged right as he came out from the closet, the scars on his chest and side standing out against his pale face. Deciding it was better not to ask how he died, Jesebelle swam to the shallow end of the pool and back.
Neil swam to the end of the pool with her and sat near the stairs. "Wanna race?" He asked her.
"You sure you should be racing?" She asked, eyeing the stitches on the side of his face. "If you are so adapted in magik then why can't you just close those wounds?" Jessebelle asked, going off topic a little.
"I've tried and ended up almost falling apart. Whoever murdered me took his time to carve me up like a Christmas turkey. But I can race. They're made so they don't come out incredibly easily. Someone would have to rip them out for them to come out." He explained.
"Well, have you tried to fix them only one by one? Like only do one injury every two weeks or so to make sure it won't re-open?" She asked, floating on her back.
Neil scratched his chin. "I hadn't thought of that. Although, I'd need help watching over the wounds. And I'd have trouble wearing shirts while I'm healing them." He said as he contemplated whether this was a good idea or not.
"I could always help you." Jessebelle offered sincerely, smiling at Neil.
"Are you sure you want to help me, mistress?" He asked her.
"Positive! You gave me the best thing I could ever hope for, a real home." She explained, swimming over to Neil.
A tear welled up in his eyes as he looked at her. "Thank you mistress." He said happily.
