Hey, I'm gauging interest for an RP I'm considering running. It's a detective story... set in space.

The players are either passengers or detectives aboard the starship Cassandra, the first commercial FTL ship

RP description:
Basically, it's a mid-hardness sci-fi RP with minimal combat, focusing on character interaction as the players race against time (Almost literally - they are traveling back through time towards the crash) to solve the mystery of the crash.

Trying to figure out how I'll set this up. I want the OP to include a map of the ship, but my student version of autodesk is being pissy.

cool who will feel what roles on the ship ?

Some roles, all of which can be filled by NPCs

Detectives, who are interrogating crew and passengers
Security guards, who beat people up (The RP is combat light, so this job likely won't see too much action, but could still be interesting)
Passengers, who can sneak around and conduct investigations of their own
Crew members who run the ship (Captain, navigation, engineering, etc.)

If you think of another job that might fit into the RP, feel free to let me know

Minor note: No offense intended, but I hope you don't write like that when the RP starts! To make it easier to read, make an effort to use proper spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar.

Thread's up, but I might change how its configured later. For now, I think its fine. (Displays map of ship, game description, current ship state, and IRC log leading up to launch)

Hate to DP, Fantastic, but are you in or not? I need, at the very least, 2 people for this, and it will be a medium-long RP, so don't give me a maybe, please.

how long does each pst need to be?

It varies, but we're going for a long narrative here, so each post should be at least 2 paragraphs - not necessarily long ones.
For reference, here is one of the shorter posts from the other RP I'm running, which has a similar length guide. As you can see, I'm not shooting for War and Peace here, just enough meat to move the story along
Antero was bored. After a long conversation with Kaya, she had become tired and gone to sleep. That left him sitting on the bridge, watching the ETA tick down and reading a book. Soon they would reach the Schlora gate. They could disappear there, and be safe. Everything would be fine.

The book wasn't a very interesting one. A history book, about a Schloran Farbian named Grae who had some connection to the Serik War, or something. Since he couldn't turn on his pocket computer to access the Serik Network, he was left with whatever hard copy reading materials remained on the ship.

He was just about to put the book down and search for something else when he something flashed in his peripheral vision. He looked up to see Saka's reflection in the bridge window. Startled, Antero turned his chair around, half expecting an attack.

"What do you want?" He blurted out. Realizing the outburst had been someone rude, he cleared his throat and began again. "Good evening, Mabi Saka. Is there something you need?"
