Have you ever had an epic, and had a couple characters get locked? You cant edit them. What if somebody leaves a gif on your characters profile and it freezes up, or gets deleted from the site in which it came from? Its stuck there (until an epic is bought) , and it just sits there...frozen, or just a line square..


How come you can't have an X out option somewhere for guestbook besides on the 'edit character ' page? So you can at least erase useless guestbook comments from even locked characters.. ?

Because there's a reason your character gets locked if you have more than the number you're allowed. If features would get enabled, why not enable the entire profile again? But if the features are enabled, why bother buying epic? If nobody buys epic, the site has to close. Then you won't have to worry about a locked character at all anymore...

I could only see this being useful if someone says mean things/breaks the rules in your guestbook, but at that point you should report it to a moderator anyway and they can deal with it, locked character or not.

As Sanne says, if someone is saying nasty things in your guestbook, we can handle it for you if the character is locked. Otherwise, it's basically a cosmetic issue, and cosmetic edits are locked for excess characters because there has to be some incentive to pay for the resources being used.

So basically if its nothing mean, I (or anyone) am stuck with it until money is paid for an epic?..

Or permanent character slots.

What is it you're wanting to remove so badly? I'm not understanding.

Or you need to reduce the number of characters on your account to get back ro your allowed amount of characters. Doing that will unlock everything again.

Kim: Nothing offensive. Just two comments off my character Wander. A gif that froze up, and the comment my cousin left saying that it broke..... and maybe future comments (like gifs that may freeze)

Then you must accept the fact your characters will be locked, I'm afraid, until you get room for more one way out the other. Just keep in mind that right now Kim is paying out of her pocket to host profiles that you're no longer paying for. On other sites your excess profiles would have most likely been deleted, hidden or disabled entirely. Here you get to keep them and use them in roleplays and PMs, you just can't edit them. I think it's mighty nice that Kim allows this, as she's losing money with it. Money which keeps the site open and free for you to use otherwise. Some food for thought.
