Tertius (played anonymously) Topic Starter

The Remnant combined both orbs of white radiant energy high above his head till the merged with the Pyramid. The Pyramid took on it's own form of spectral armor, a massive glyph of an eye appeared across it's surface as well as a pulsating ribbon like barrier that protected the Pyramid. The glyph eye blinked to life and quickly searched out what it had been summoned for. A blinding ocular beam sliced though the ice saber and melted a small section of Glacius' arm clean off before it vaporized into steam.

"F̣̫͎̖̝̟̮̺̮ͅo̝͇̝̭̲̮̲̰͎͓͓̞̤̖͙̮̬͈͍o̬͖̟̼̳̬̭͕̟̱̪̥͔̪̫̜̮͔ͅL͈̱̯̲͓͚̹̗̤̙̜̰͎̮̦͈!̳͔̭̠̖̦͖̤͉̠̮ͅ ̳̻͎̮̬̱̹̝̹͓̻̗̘̲̞ͅͅi͍̠̺͚͖̯͚ͅ ̣͉̬͙͍͍̼̠̼͓̯͙̗̦̘̳ͅS͍̣̝͚̞͓̖̲̪e̫̪̪͚̬͉͔̱e̠̙̞̣̝̥̙̱͕̗̜̪͈̼ ̮̘̥̠̻͇̯͚̜̖̘̦̟e͓̩̤̭͎͔͇ͅV̝̪̗̰͍̝͉̠̳̠͕͕͍̤̣̪͍ͅe̟̰̳̼͎͎͙̼̠̞͍̘R̩̝͕̼̠͚̜̭̳̲̠̖͉̜͎͖̣y̰̬̟̮̣̝̤̦̫T͙̱̖̯̤̥̻̪H͓͕̭͇ͅi͔̳̞̥̹͕̳̮̺͓͎̝͖̱N͙̥̳̘͙͔̯̱G̥̝͇̟͎̜̦̦!̺̫̼̝̠̮̲͔̯͖͎̹" The Remnant yelled as his spectral armor let loose a bust of energy that

shattered the spiked wall of ice. Tertius himself began to levitate, being saturated with enough of the Pyramid's power, and glided away from the cliffside and out above the forest below him. Another spectral triangle appeared behind him and began to fire salvo after salvo of light bullets at Glacius, all the while the Remnant began to laugh like a madman.
Glacius (played anonymously)

Glacius winced in pain as his arm was taken off, he looked at it and another grew in its place. Glacius rolled out of the path of the bullets and fired a thick icicle at the triangle piercing through the middle causing it to to freeze over and fall forcefully to the ground.

Glacius morphed into his ice puddle form and moved underneath the body of Tertius, he rose upwards engulfing the being which he promptly spit out towards the outer wall of the cave.

Tertius fell as the spectral triangle behind him was frozen over and then shattered, it was - apparently - the thing enabling him to fly. As Tertius fell into the forest below a surge of slush momentarily cushioned his fall , but only to be redirected back across the forest and into the cliff side.

A second before Tertius would've met his end against the stone a triangular portal engulfed him and the body of Tertius disappeared from view. A new portal opened up a few moments later directly behind Glacius as 6 spear shaped shafts of light whizzed though the air towards the Icy entity.

Glacius turned and was struck by three of the spears of light. one in his arm,one in the leg, and the third pierced his torso.
causing him to shine brightly with a glare.

Glacius shrugged off the pain and formed an ice ball in his hands which twisted towards tertius, it stopped and fell to the ground at his feet. causing spikes of ice to project outwards from the ground all around them

"Now you shall die!" Glacius shouted as he lunged towards tertius his arms shaped as spears the left shooting three icicles as Glacius attacked

The Remnant just stared straight into the glaring light as if he was completely unaffected by anything light-attributed. Tertius watched with a malicious smile as the ice ball landed with a small thud at his feet, his smile only grew wider and more twisted as the ice ball became a sort of cage - an ice prison.

doing so his garments became pinned to the stone cliff behind him. The Pyramid angled itself to point the eye shaped glyph directly at Glacius, it then released an array of light bolts in a perfect sphere that surrounded the two combatants. They were all primed and ready to end Glacius if the Remnant was killed, each one humming in anticipation, a faint but unmistakable heat radiated off of them.

was as if he was fighting to maintain contact while the Remnant was in this deffensive (or offensive) state.
Glacius (played anonymously)

Glacius was overpowered by a mysterious force, pressuring him to submit. his arm spears were driven into the ground as the force caused him to drop to his knees. Glacius became enraged that he couldn't finish his enemy but he was helpless, whatever this force emanated from he was powerless to resist it.

As Glacius lowered his icy tools the small rods of light surrounding him slowly flickered out one by one. The Remnant's armor began to dim and fade as well, and with that the Pyramid fell gently into its hands and was withdrawn back into the folds of his cloak.

"...sometimes the only way to win is not to..." the voice within the mirror said as it tumbled out of the Remnant's sleeve and onto the stony floor in front of Glacius. The eye of Tertius looked up to Glacius, "...So... Do you want to find that 'core' of yours?" Tertius offered.

Glacius rose up onto one knee, with anger brewing inside him and a look of disappointment in his eyes he looked down at the magic triangle that contained the soul of the wizard Tertius. Glacius then raised his head and looked at the thing that inhabited the mortal flesh of Tertius, he then dropped his head looking at the ground beneath him and said to Tertius "My power core can wait... Tertius I promise you that we will find a way to expel that thing inside of you and put you back where you belong or I shall die trying." Glacius scooped a handful of dirt into his hand and then clenched it into a fist, when he opened his hand again it was solid ice, Glacius then dropped it and grabbed the mirror shard that had trapped Tertius inside. he stood back on his feet and spoke to the thing inside Tertius's body "This will not be our last encounter creature, believe me when I tell you. Next time I shall be out for blood, you will be forced from your host body... And you shall perish by my hand. Until that day comes demon, know that you have sealed your fate... You will suffer the sheer cold, cold so powerful it can freeze time itself." Glacius then turned away with Tertius in hand, and began the travel to a safer location.

The Remnant stood perfectly still as Glacius spoke his mind, he was either listening very intently or still somewhere off in its little world or didn't care in the slightest. Probably all of the above. He just stared at Glacius with its emotionless unblinking featureless white glowing eyes.

The Eye in the mirror blinked in surprise, "Really? You'll try and help me? I've been racking my mind with how my calculations may have been wrong when I first tried that summoning spell all those years ago." Tertius said excitedly, no one had ever offered him help before. If he could cry with gratitude he would but he didn't want this small remainder of his prison to be water logged. "I... I don't even know where to begin with finding a way out. But I have a few things I'd like to try. Can you take me somewhere where there is another mirror?" Tertius asked Glacius.

As Glacius walked off with the mirror shard the Remnant watched them get farther and farther away, what neither one of them knew was that the Remnant always knew where the mirror was, a simple spell had afforded him a sort of triangulation that let him know how far away and in what direction the mirror was in comparison to him at all times. When they were out of view the Remnant knelt down and picked up the small dirt clod of permafrost and examined it by turning it this way and that, it was looking for something...
Glacius (played anonymously)

"Must it be a mirror of man? or would any reflection work?" Glacius asked.

(Sorry tired lol)
