Rro Rogers had been up all night chanting some blood incantations from the night before, he had been a powerful ninja before he had decided to be a pirate. It was a sort of escape to freedom if you will. But his many adventures had all been building to this one, his execution was tomorrow, he didn't believe he could just break out this time. Slowly red in turned black and a map of some sort formed on his body between his collar bone and his chest.
His body had collapsed, this incantation had taken a lot out of him but it would be worth it, "It's time." He whispered to himself upon waking up. The guards brought him out to a large crowd of men and woman booing at him. The City of St. Dour was on the coast of the Cloudy Sea and many pirates had heard of this execution, coming for miles to see the man be killed.
The executioner listed his crimes, no noose was good enough for him, with his blood manipulation he had survived his fair share of hangings. This time they had an axe that would take his head off. The the word he had been waiting for appeared out of the air like silk being sown into the sky. Any last words?
"I am Captain Jolly Rro Rogers," he laughed, pulling his shirt off with his hands that were cuffed behind him," and as soon as I am killed this tattoo will vanish." The crowd looked confused, the booing stopped and confusion filled the air. "This is the treasure map to find the Garden of Dragons, a treasure trove filled to the walls with gold piling higher then any one ship can carry."
The air was silent as the executioner turned to the towns naval general to ask him what they should do, and if they should even trust the mans statement. "Whom ever saves me and can get me there can have all the treasure they can carry out," Rro's laugher was the only sound for at least a mile, it echoed threw the wind and tore threw the ears of everyone there, "So who will it be, who wants me???"

Yes, it had spread to almost every ear that Rogers was going to be executed. Iveth didn't know whether everyone was saddened or delighted to hear of this, but she had not even mixed feelings over the matter. Every day pirates died either in battle or executed. She couldn't see why this execution gathered up such a crowd just to watch a man die. Perhaps he had been honorable. Then again, so were others whose deaths weren't recognized. Of course self-indulgent men and women had to have a great audience when it comes to the time of their death.
Iveth was left to maneuver through the unnecessary crowd, shoving and slipping though bodies large and small. Surprisingly she didn't awaken a brawl amongst them because surely she had shoved someone hard enough to make them angry. They were too heavily concentrated on the man who was going to be hanged, beheaded, whatever the government saw fit. She came here to get loot not to witness a fallen man's death and with so many people compacted together to watch it made her task much harder than it should have been.
She hadn't even gotten near the edge of the crowd with Rogers announced that he had treasures in the Garden of Dragons. When she'd gone there in search of a high price she found nothing. Her eyes darted to the man now, assessing carefully. He was lying, however with another look at the map on his chest it gave specific direction to the destination. Iveth couldn't say the map was wrong having been there once. Even so, she continued to conclude that he was a liar, finding this nothing more than a way to gain back his life. But what if she was wrong? Say he was telling the truth and there were treasures there. More than likely she'd have to be much more vigilant since she would have saved him. There'd be competition and the law to evade.
A groan escaped her lips at her decision, but she wasn't the only one who was intent on saving him. He had the entire crowd causing calamity and shifting this way and that as a few were struggling to reach to reach him. As for Iveth she searched for the nearest way out, seeking out a building nearby. There happened to be one a good few feet away and she forced herself through the audience.
Having been an assassin before she took to climbing although getting through some arrogant people had tired her down a good bit. Upon reaching the roof she brought herself into a sprint, a dull ache in her arms due to the climb. She leaped to a lower building, tumbling before reaching her feet once again. Her eyes flicked between her competitors and her set path. They weren't making too much progress, but she didn't like how close they were getting. In reaching a third building she was then right beside the scene, and started down with light feet. As she was nearing the ground she took a surge to the platform, rolling onto it to evenly throw out her momentum before getting to her feet.
"Well," she huffed, leisurely taking out her rod before shooting down one of the pirates who finally reached the high platform, "I don't mean to be cruel." Her tongue held a hard Caribbean accent, somewhere along the way being mixed with Spanish.
Eventually her eyes rested on the map- not the man- the map. Slowly they drifted to the executioner, "You're not going to make me work for this, are you?"
((I know it's a long post. I don't expect you to match the length, it was only because I was called to action. ))

The man was forced to the stone by the executioner's foot, Kill him! Quickly! The guards had been yelling, an axe rose high into the air. The world slowed down, Rro's heart beatted ten times the normal speed. A good two dozen pirates stood hidden in the crowd, burst out of the crowd. A second later his body hit the ground, competition was strong already.
"I forgot to mention," Rro's eyes closed and the map faded a bit, "asleep, unconscious, or dead... The map will vanish." This fact was true, he had done this incantation to insure he wasn't scammed out of his own money, his own glory, his own adventure. The axe's ominous shadow loomed over head, he watched as the sun stretch a copy of his body across the stage showing him exactly what was about to happen.
Hand cuffs, not only did they hold his hands together but they had him chained behind his back to the stage. Break them, someone, give him a fighting chance. It really didn't matter who young, old, male, female, any ethnicity too. Is no one interested in treasure? He looked around once more, no everyone wanted a piece of it, the axe's shadow swung downward swiftly... It couldn't be the end, not yet!

In seeing that the executioner was intent on killing the man Iveth had no other option, but to act quickly though she felt that she'd worn herself enough. Even so, after she had the map she'd have to make a mad dash to her ship.. Or his. That could save her lots of fuel. Then again after this she would gained a big number of enemies. Perhaps it would be a better idea to take her own before they seek out a different revenge and damage Felicia.
Again, she fired at the executioner- or more so his hands, making him drop the ax though it was steal heading for a clean swipe on Rogers's neck. From there she caught it, making a hilt out of the blade and struck the back of the executioners knees so he would somewhat fall back. That in mind she straddled him with the ax, leading him to the edge of the platform before granted him the fall. If she didn't kill him the crowd surely would by either trampling him or possibly a simple lead bullet if they choose. She'd already killed one pirate today and that felt like it was enough.
Iveth hated to give Rogers false hope when she let the ax slide down in her hand till she held the hilt and she laid the cool iron on the back of his nape, where it should have been. The crowd froze. She was beginning to like this sort of power, but it would only be temporary and she wanted to guarantee her safety on the way out of St. Dour. "I've followed that map before," she spoke loud enough for every ear to catch and she glanced back to the man before continuing, "and I could very well make it there on my own, but it seems like you all will need him for the voyage. Don't get me wrong, I will kill him if you try and stop me on the way out. Man or map, it doesn't matter to me, but you are welcome to follow." It was a moment of gathering glances from their neighbors before they found some sort of agreement in this.
In seeing they were complying Iveth motioned Rogers to get up. "They're in for a ride," she muttered to herself, grinning at the ingenious idea in mind. "Congratulations Rogers, you live to see another day," by then she dropped the ax to rely on her rod. They were just about to head out when she sighed heavily and looked to the guards, "Which one of you have the keys?" No, she wasn't expecting a direct answer, but she needed his handcuffs off if he was going to be any use.

The map to the Dragons Garden had five maps, each one had a different part of the journey on it. The ashes lay in his cell, each of the five piece burned up and copied to his chest. The only way to get to this treasure trove was stained on front of the pirate. "Hey beautiful," Rogers smiled, "got a taste for gold?"
She was obviously willing to do all it took to get this gold, but he could blame her. This world had been over come by greed, at least it's better then war. Greed for woman, greed for power, greed for fame, greed for knowledge and greed for gold. No more honor, and no more morality was left in humanity. "Use the axe girl, break the cuffs with the axe!"
Despite Rogers clever and cunning ways he wasn't in the mood to be killed. Not today, he wasn't even in his forties yet. Rro laughed, another day, another adventure!!!

A young Asian boy darted through the area, barbing and weaving around the many bodies around him. He may have arrived late to the party, but there was no way he would miss his chance for the greatest treasure he had ever heard of.
He leaped over a number of men in front of Rogers and Iveth. "Where is he!?" He looked at the two guards in front of them, and with a quick succession of well-placed punches and elbow strikes, reduced the two large men to broken heaps on the floor. He turned his sharp, focused eyes over to Rogers. "You! You Rogers!? That the map!?" His accent was thick, but his meaning was more than clear.
In spite of his resolve, he quickly caught a glimpse of the two men he had just flattened. "Oh dear. I did not need to do that, did I?"

It came to her notice that she was picking up a rather talkative man. "I'm sure you don't need that mouth of yours for the journey," Iveth mumbled, not completely agreeing with using the axe. Surely it would be a messy process and she might just pull his arms right out of his sockets, but with a second thought her grin reappeared.
Painful or not, she roughly turned him around, placing his hands where his head once was. After readying the axe in her hand she gave it a vicious swing or two to get the chain to break and was going to drop it until a young boy came into their presence. Such great timing. Just what she needed. Another boy to burden her down though she was surprised a lad that young was already taking on the life of a pirate. Of course there were others his age that did, however he was by far the only one she saw trying to accomplish something on his own.
"You do not need to be here, do you?" Iveth mocked as she gripped Rogers arm and forced him to his feet. "We can play games later when I get back," she ridiculed the boy before spinning on her heel and starting her way out with a quick pace, her hand still fiercely gripping Rogers's arm.

Hiro saw the pirate woman taking the living treasure map away from him, and did not like it. "You bring him back here!" With precise foot movements, he cut them off, and with a flurry of forceful hand motions, he plucked the ax from Iveth's hands and used it to shatter Rogers' shackles in one move. Unfortunately, in that same move, he also brought the ax down into the ground, lodging its blade into the floor.
He blinked nervously, but try as he might, he couldn't pull the ax back out. "Eh, wait! Chotto Mate!" He arched his back and strained his body. "Mate, mate, mate!!" With that, he pulled the ax-handle out of the ground, leaving the heavy blade behind. "Ehhh," but he recovered quickly, spinning the handle in his fingers before assuming a battle pose with it. "I take Rogers! You leave!"

The woman had freed him from the stage and the kid had freed him from the cuffs, "seems I'm just a popular son of the kraken today!" A laugh started as he turned to the two about to battle for his treasure chest. It was amusing, "You know," Rro twisted out of the girls grip and grabbed a guard who was lunging at them with a sword. He grabbed the mans hands, grabbed the mans pistol from his belt and issued a shot to the face. "here is enough treasure for all three of us," he smiled pocketing the pistol.
"But if you insist on fighting," the pirate looked around for a better weapon, a long range rifle or something. Rro was not the greatest swordsman, his combat was still pretty good from when he was a ninja but he had focused most all his training on marksman ship with guns and cannons. "Also, who's ship are we taking?" The man asked seeing his target. A man with a rifle in the watchtower behind the stage, one bullet in his new pistol he shot upward not even looking.
"So save the fighting for whose ever ship we take and let's get out of here," Rro took the rifle from the man he had shot in the watch tower. The angle of the shot was so precise so the man wouldn't fall back into the tower but fall out. Rro slung the rifle onto his back reloading the new pistol with ammo from a different dead guard, streets filled with pirates and guards, innocents trying to escape. It was really time they took their leave.

But as the commotion was going on, a short creature was walking the streets. At first he payed no attention to the commotion, but when it got loud enough, he started to take interest.
"Yargh! What's goin' on? What's this commotion going on?" the elderly creature said, talking to whoever was listening. The creature didn't seem to notice no one was around. The creature's head was covered in thick bandages, which he used to weaken his X-Ray vision ability, but to an extent, it still rendered close ranged things invisible. Eventually he heard a gunshot. The creature looked over to where it was before noticing a dark shadow infront of him. It was then he saw a dead body hit the ground. This caused the creature to react in an instinct.
The creature ran towards the loud noises and saw a bunch of people running toward a ship. "Ay! What's a bunch of human kids doin'?" he asked. "Makin' bunch a loud noises? Why the commotion?"
OOC: I don't know if the TC knew this when he OKed my character, but Skyra is not human. I'm not sure if he's actually allowed in this RP, I didn't see a rule specifying against it.

"Váyase!" Iveth hissed at the boy not too soon before he snagged the axe right out of her hands. At first she could have bet'd on it that he would attack her, but she happened to be proved wrong when he freed Rogers from his shackles. Unfortunate for him, though, he managed to get it wedged into the wooden platform. With this she chuckled, "Chico estúpido." However, her smile was quick to vanish when he insisted that she leave, slightly offended that he thought the handle of- what once was an axe- would be a threat to her.
Iveth's disbelief was short lived due to the map slipping away from her grasp, taking on the guard who she forgot to acknowledge. She wasn't quite intent on sharing, but they had very little time now to fight over who would have custody over the map or whatnot.
Taking Rogers's ship was out of the question and she was sure that the boy didn't even own a ship. Sighing exasperatedly Iveth hurried down the platform with swift steps, expecting them to follow. Her ship wasn't far from where they stood, a mere ten minutes away if they weren't slowed down by the guards. Instead it was a rather strange creature she found herself coming across, but she didn't stop to talk. "Ask him!" she gestured back to Rogers.

"Stop talking and run!" Hiro shouted. He jumped over the tiny creature in front of him and broke the ax handle over the shins and torsos of a pair of guards who had attempted to cut them off on their way to the ship. Even so, more armed guards began swarming them.
One of them attempted to bring down a cutlass on the boy, but he ducked under the attack and, upon coming back up, raised his foot and broke his grip on the hilt with his heel. He then followed up with a two-finger-poke to the guard's eyes and a jumping uppercut to the chin. Over and over he would disarm guards and strike. As effective as his moves were, however, he could quickly feel himself getting tired. "Too many! Ikimasu!"
With that, he scooped up the short creature under one arm and regrouped with the others.

"whose ship are we heading towards?" Rro asked, he had been locked up for almost a year and a half, "and what the heck is that thing?" He asked gesturing to Skyra, in any case he was exite. Avoiding death once more and he was finally going to the Garden of Dragons. It would be a long and dangerous journey but not as long and dangerous as the path back to the executioners stage.
Bullets flew threw the air every which way and the sounds of swords echoed in the crisp morning air. Finally arriving at the girls ship Rro began to call out taking charge, "raise the anchor!" He laughed, "ready the sails!" The taste of the sea would soon be his norm again, and as long as he didn't run into his old crew he'd be ok.
See Rro's old ship was called the Cannonball Jack and it was sunk by the navy and he was captured but his first mate went down with the ship and it's crew. Now as mindless zombies with an insane captain they search for Rro believing that he doomed them all, trading his life for their deaths. This was incorrect but arguing with zombies wasn't as easy as it.. well it didn't sound that easy either. But that was just one of a dozen terrible things they'd have to encounter to reach the riches they were about to seek.

The humans ignored the tiny creature's questions. That didn't stop Scyra from chasing them down. He could tell the locals were not used to seeing Scrauser so hopefully he could use that to throw the guards off and cause them to stop firing. ...But they only fired even more, now at Skyra.
Skyra watched the ship as it tried to leave port. He wanted his answers right now, and was trying to go through bullet hell to get to the ship. He was a pretty fast creature especially for his age, so he didn't have too many problems outrunning the lines of fire, but a few bullets did graze him. Finally he got close to the ship as it was almost off port. Skyra decided to jump for it. He thrust his spears into the stern of the ship, making sure not to pierce the lower, more important parts of the ship. And then, he tried to climbe up.
Eventually getting into the ship, Skyra started to walk to where the humans were, greatly out of breath after what he had to go through. He still wanted questions. "Now... Now that I caught up to ya youngsters, tell me what all yer commotion's about." Skyra still didn't take into consideration the fact that Scrauser were not seen commonly around human settlements, and neglected to explain himself on that end.

"Stop talking! Work!" Hiro darted about the ship, following the captain's order, turning the anchor post to raise the anchor, but when it came to lowering the sails, the rope pulled him all the way up the length of the mast. "Tatsukete! Tatsukete!" he shouted, kicking and screaming from almost all the way up to the crow's nest. He eventually managed to wrap his legs around the mast. Then he made the mistake of letting go of the rope. "Chikusho!" he said through gritted teeth. He slid down the length of the mast, gripping with his legs all the way down. By the time he hit the deck, his legs and, butt, and groin all hated Hiro and everything he stood for. He fell over to his side, muttering to himself, "I--Itami..."
Iveth was in a full out dash, able to evade the majority of bullets by using someone of random interest as shields for fire. It was a real hassle as well as an excitement. It had been a long while since she was graced with some action and just to be at the edge of life was a real thrill. She supposed events like this were what made up a pirates life when it all came down to it.
Even though she was bothered that Rogers had the audacity to command her crew she didn't object. They needed to get out of there as soon as possible if they wanted to get out without any further injuries and her crew had complied after she'd given them an anticipating look.
The Felicia wasn't too big of a ship nor was it too small. It's sails were oddly shaped, four of them enveloping the back of the ship almost appearing as fins on a fish specifically for flight while on the ship there were two masts that held fan shaped sails. Under the sails the engines couldn't be seen but they were most definitely there. Besides that it was a flying ship it appeared highly original. Wooden dock and railings, taking on the colors of red and liquid gold or a mixture of golden brown. Overall it was an attractive ship.
After taking a leap onto the ship it was untied from the dock and Iveth's immediate action was to wrap her arms around the mast while the rest of the crew tied themselves down. There was hardly any time to activate the gravity parameter that took a minute or two to take effect. "Grab onto something! We're free-falling!" Iveth sounded glad to say. Out of all her types of sailing free-falling happened to be one of her favorites. With a quick glance to Skyra she answered, "Treasure! What else?" The last word was hardly able to escaped her lips before Felicia began to plunge down, Iveth's grip around the mast tightening.

The falling ship startled Hiro to no end, as he was too busy holding his aching groin to find a suitable anchoring point in time. Feeling himself slowly becoming weightless, he punched a hole in the deck just to give himself something to hold onto to. "WHAT IS THIS CRAZY SHIP!?"
((Eh, sorry. This was a comic relief moment, so I didn't have a whole lot, but it needed to be there to explain how he survived))

"Treasure!?" Skyra cried as the ship was heavily quaking. Skyra immediately plunged his spears into the deck as something to hold onto. "Does that explain all the killed innocents?" he asked. "What is it with kids these days. Back in my day, we had... errr... actually I can't quite remember if we had crime or not in the kingdom of Subterra."
Skyra finally mentioned a place called "Subterra." That was where the Scrauser lived was in a connection of long tunnels through-out the underground world of the human race. But what was Skyra doing above ground? Answering that didn't seem to be a priority. "I don't care if you kids are lookin' fer treasure, that doesn't give you the right to go around killing people. ...But then again, I can't say I know the full story."

"Yeah kids, how dare you!" Rro was a bit over thirty himself but he had decided to mock the speared creature. And as the ship began to fall he remembered that St. Dour sat on a part of the sea called the Falling Sea, it was a sea with giant holes in it, exactly circular holes places around the waters. Rro had read that this was caused by atmospheric pressure created by asteroids stuck in the sky, too high up to see.
Ships fall in these all the times open their sails a certain way and glide back up to the other side of the hole. Battles while ships are flying are specially dangerous and fun! Rro grabbed nothing he was used to this decent and twisted his auto-mail left leg, this created spikes under his feet to appear anchoring him down to the deck.
"Rope yourselves to the ship! Open the sails for pressure glide!" Rro looked back at Iveth, "nice ship my lady!" His leg twisted again and unhooked from the ships boards flipping threw the air. He missed this, all of this, the challenges of sailing in this sea of insanity, teamwork of the crew, the certain death you faced ever day.
Rro grabbed the wheel, landed and twisted his metal leg once more planting this position. "Ready the damn sails you land lovers! I just escaped death I don't want to crash into the shallows bellow!" Rro could see the crew were following his commands with with hesitancy, "or wait for your captain to take command that's fine, but well die while you decide where your loyalties lie." Rro prepared to pull up as soon as the crew had done their job.

Skyra had no true loyalty to the pirates he was confronting, especially after that snide remark the captain made. But Skyra was no fan of dying either. Skyra went over to the sail, using his spears as anchors to help pull him up, and tried to open up the sail by grabbing the rope. Unfortunately he was too short and weak to pull it by himself.
"I guess I be helpin' ye out fer now," Skyra said as he tried his hardest to untie the sail. "But I never been on a pirate ship before. I don't know how everything works."
