he yawned and shook his head and could hear the microwave beep, he quickly jumped up and came back with their food smiling and handed it to her "here you go~!" he chirps and sits down and starts to eat

She heard the microwave beep too and she looked back at it, yay, it didn't catch on fire! She sat down in a chair, and took her food. After a second she got down, and walked away from the tsble, returnig seconds later with ketchup, and climbed back into her chair.

he smiles brightly "You use ketchup too? My mom thought I was weird for using ketchup with my chicken" he says giggling and stretches and began to eats his rice and chicken

"What does she use?" Amery asked her friend. "Anything?" She asked getting out some ketchup for her chicken nuggets,

"plumb sauce, to be honest I cannot STAND that stuff" he says laughing and takes another bite and looks at her "is it good?" he asks with a mouth full of food, he then swallows and giggles "sorry"

Amery thought a second before looking at him and saying "you moms weird." She probably meant it as a joke, for his mom thinking it was weird to use ketchup, or it was the fact she thought his mom was alittle weird for using plumb sauce. She giggled at her friend, and took a bite of a chicken nugget, after it had some ketchup. After a second, once she swallowed she asked "the chicken?" She asked, making sure he was reffering to that.

He sighs "ya she is weird... thought thats really all I know about her" he says and sighs deeper "even when we do eat together, she is still working" he says and stretches and then smiles "ya I mean the chicken" he says and takes another bite

"Maybe one day she might not be as busy" Amery tried to make him think along brighter lines. She took another bite of her chicken nugget after dipping it in more ketchup, and finishing off that nugget, before taking another one, "its good" she said.

he smiles "maybe..." he says and sighs frowning again taking another bite, figuring how unlikely that was and stretches smiling again "thats good that it tastes good" he says giggling

His frown had not lasted long, or at least not long enough for Amery to notice it, She giggled a little at him, "and how's your chicken? " she asked him, taking another bite of her food.

"its wonderful!" he says smiling and takes another bite of chicken and rice and looks to see how close she was to finishing, wondering if he should pick up his eating pace or not

Amery was a rather slow eater compared to him. If anything she should be the one to pick up the eating pace, but the day was still young anyway, it was only around noon more or less.

he started eating slower and smiles at her "So, Amery. What do your parents do?" he asks tilting his head curiously since she had never mentioned them

Amerys smile faced, and she looked down. She went silent, awfully silent, eerie silent. She went mute.

he thinks for a moment before gasping "oh... sorry if something happened that made you not want to talk about your parents I am sorry for bringing it up!" he says hoping he did not offend her, maybe she just hated them? maybe they were abusive? maybe they were dead? who knows... but he did not want to ask so he did not hurt her feelings at all

She shook her head slightly, as if to say don't apologize, you didn't know. After a moment she said "I don't have my parents, according to what I've heard they died when I was 2" she said quietly. She didn't remember anything really about them.

he sighs and looks at the floor "I am sorry..." he says and looks up at her "Here I am complaining about my mom and you... you dont even have one" he says sighing and looks at the floor

She sniffed quietly, was she crying? Who knows? "Its okay" she forgave him. "it can't be helped I guess" she said.

he looks at her and moves closer, taking out his finger and he dried her tears "its ok... I am here for you" he says and hugs her closely to comfort her

She looked up at him a little when he tried to dry her tears with his finger. Her eyes got even more teary after he hugged her, and she started to cry somemore. Though could anyone blame her? She was only 5 after all...
