he looks at her with happiness and hugs her close sighing happily and rubs her back, he did not know what to say... but did anything really need to be said? he was overwhelmed... He just liked holding her close and being in silence like this

Now she knew what love felt like. She knew! She just stayed quiet for a bit, hugging him in return, she was happy. After more silence she broke the silence to say "thank you..."

he looks at her and smiles back snuggling into her "Thank you too" he says and sighs happily and groans in annoyance and giggles "Moooooom~" he whines "are we there yet?" he asks giggling, and his mom called out, with a tone that sounded like she wanted to be serious, but just could not be as she tried not to giggle "Oh shut your yap, in like another hour!" she said

She giggled a little at him as he whined asking if they were there yet. His mom tone made her giggle more though. She wanted to sound serious which showed by her choice of words, and his mom just couldn't do it. Amery was glad she was nicer now,

he giggles "FIIIINE!" he whines and giggles and lays down with Amery "What do you want to do?" he asks smiling brightly and rubs her head

"What is there to do?" She asked curiously. She didn't know what they could do around here.

he thinks and looks around, "Well...we could play..." he looks at the table and pulls up a chess table and puts it on "we could play chess?" he asks smiling

She starred at the chess board, "how do you play chess?" She asked. She always found it confusing..and never remembered what parts the pieces played.

he giggles "Well I will show you, this is a pawn" he says picking one of the little ones up "he can move one space, Well except the first time you move it, then you can move it two spaces" he says happily

Amery tried to pay attention as he explained. She looked at the pawn, and nodded an okay.

he smiles "this is the Rook, its pretty simple, it goes in a straight line, either forwards backwards left or right" he says smiling

She nodded an okay to that as well. Well, at least she was learning about chess..at least later on she couldn't say she didn't know how to play.

he smiles and takes a head of a horse "this is a knight! He can move three spaces, either two forward and one to the side, or one forward and two to the side!" he says happily

She nodded an okay once more, just being silent ad he explained.

he smiles "and this is the bishop! he can move anywhere diagonally!" he says happily "and the queen is pretty simple, it can move anywhere as long as something is not blocking her, and the kind can move anywhere, but only one space"

She looked at the bishop. She nodded once again, and the queen sounded simple enough..

he smiles "okay, white or black pices?" he asks curiously tilting his head, it did not matter to him really which one he got

She pointed to the white piece. She would be the white pieces it seemed.

he smiles and spins the board around and smiles "you make the first move" he says happily

She looked down at the pieces, and made her move.
