Hey fellow Furcadia people!
I have a question!
I am getting a smartphone within a day or two, and my one friend online has a Pounce app or something. What apps are available for Furc, where can I find them, are they free, and what do they do? I tried to look around on the Furcadia forums for something updated about it but that was like looking for a needle in a haystack! If anyone knows and could help me out, that'd be great!
(How long is it gonna be until I can Furc from my phone?? xD That would be sooo epiccc, though I don't know if it will ever happen lols)

Unfortunately, as far as I know, you're out of luck if you're on a Droid. Which I am, so that's the extent of my knowledge.

There are a few third-party Pounce simulators out there, which work to varying degrees.

Pounce is free on Android, but it glitches at times. There is no current Furcadia app (official or otherwise) that I am aware of for iPhone.

It doesn't work like a messenger in that it runs I'm the background (if you switch to another app you get logged out and won't receive new messages) and I think development on this app has stopped, but it works! I used t use it myself. It's better than nothing.

There used to be an iPhone app but I don't know what happened to it.. I think DEP had issues with Apple's policies?

Yea, I use aPounce when my net suddenly cuts off to inform people that I can't get back on. If you write too much in the app, it sometimes mixes up your whispers. A bit buggy, but better than nothing.

Yeah, the way Dragonspeak works conflicted with Apple's terms of use for its apps at the time. I believe those restrictions have since been relaxed, however. We should see an updated app at some point; it was funded through the Second Dreaming fundraiser.

I just downloaded the Pounce app for android but it doesn't seem to want to load up.

I had it, but eventually gave up on using it. It was buggy, lagged and froze all the time. Since it doesn't run in the background and you have to keep the app open to use, this made it too frustrating to use with the aforementioned problems. Still, if you're in a pinch it might be useful.

It was 1.99 in the App store.
I have an iphone 4S

I downloaded it fresh to my Note and it works fine.

I'm running Android version 4.1.2
