"Are you kidding me, I was on the verge of passing out. "Charles replied with a heavy breathe. He wasn't being over dramatic, he was telling the truth. Well, he didn't throw up everywhere, which that alone was a surprise, one he was thankful for. So, maybe the girls had a point. He smiled a bit with a short chuckle.
Charles then frowned,REQUIEM, he had nearly forgot about their fight. Nearly being the key word. "...he dose? That doesn't sound pleasant."He said as he watched the man leave the room in a hurry. That's when the world seemed to shift, not a lot, just a little bit, and then spin once. A dizzy spell? He brought a hand up to his head, he was probably dizzy from lack of food.

they all looked at him "Hay dude, you alright?" Douglas asks, "Ya... you dont...look so good" Alex says rubbing his back "Are you sick? I can get a doctor" she says and Jerome laughs "he IS the doctor" he laughs and Alex looks at him "Not FUNNY!" she yells and looks back at Charles with concerned eyes "Do you want to lie down?" Alex asks rubbing his shoulder as the man walked in looking annoyed, Alice tilts her head "did you find REQUIEM?" she asks and he laughs "Oh ya I did... he says if I took him in here he would stab me in the eyes with my OWN needle" he says and sits down, Jerome chuckles "Thats REQUIEM for you"

Charles shook his head,"..I'm fine, and not sick. It was a small dizzy spell, most likely from not eating in the past.."He paused,"I'm gonna say the past 18 hours or so."He told them. It did make sense, and now that he thought about it, he was hungry. Really hungry. He winced when Alex snapped at Jerome,"..okay. There is no need for yelling, alright."He said to Alex, he saw little point in getting worked up over a small dizzy spell. It came, and then it left. He then shook his head,"I don't need to lay down, I probably just need food."He said again. With a small smile he turned to leave the room.

Alex nods and follows him "I am going with you just in case" she says looking up at him as they walked, Jerome laughed and looked at the needle guy "get over it, REQUIEM just hates needles" he says and the man looks at him "Ya, i could tell" he says and rolls his eyes looking through the computer

Charles gave Alex a small smile when she offered to join him. It would by nice to have some company, well, if his mind wasn't full of so many questions. He was sure that he could write a small book full of all of his questions. "Alex..."Charles started to say, and then shook his head. He was going to ask if REQUIEM was always like that on shot day or not, but figured it wasn't the best thing to ask.

Alex looked up at him after he had not continued past her name, she could tell he had alot on his mind and seemed to be worried, curious, happy and uneasy at the same time. "...Yes?" she asks seeing him not continue the sentence he was going to say

"I'm uh, proud of you, what you did today takes a lot of bravery."Charles said. It was true, but also something to keep his mind off of other things. And to keep her from wondering what he was going to ask her.
When they got to the mess hall felt a bit dizzy again, slowly the dizziness grew, but he focused on walking straightly. The world spinning around him slowly but surely started to stop spinning.

Alex looks up at him "oh thank you~!" she says in a sing song tune and then smiles "but it was all thanks to you~!" she says also in a sing song tune and giggles hugging his arm happily, until she saw he looked dizzy, he looked very disoriented "...Charles? Are you ok?" she asks with a frown, looking very concerned.
There were guards running around the mess hall, Looks like they were trying to find someone or something

He nodded,he was fine for the time being. Still, it was starting to concern him that he was having so many dizzy spells. It wasn't due to sleep,he knew that much, but there was a chance of it being caused by not eating for so long. That would also explain why his body felt heavy with a sudden grogginess. "Trust me, I'm fine.."He reassured her, and hismelf.
He glanced at the guards, were they looking for REQUIEM? He shook his head, there was little point in helping them. So Charles went to get something to eat.

she followed him closely, almost like a dog would for a sick master, She stuck by him and held his hand closely. She would catch him if he fell, granted she was ALOT shorter than him but she would try using her augmentations to at least try and hold her, She knew REQUIEM could lift a small Japanese car with both hands but again he had those life threatening augmentations and she did not.

Charles glanced down at her with a small, but reassuring smile. He was fine, he had to be fine. But as he sat down to eat something popped into his head. A memory from four years ago had popped up as if trying to answer what was happening to him.

Four years ago
Charles sat in a chair, staring at a blank white wall. He flinched when he felt the cool needle go into his arm,instantly he tense. His father gave his son a smile in hopes of keeping him calm long enough for him to get some blood and then pull the syringe out of his arm. When he was done Charles relaxed, leaning back in the chair.
It wasn't until days later that his mother came home. She appeared so stunned and speechless. Apparently she had been like that most of the day when she found something. She had found something about Charles that would floor any doctor, and or scientist in the world. His DNA had rewritten itself.
"..Charles, if or when you get a shot, make sure it doesn't do anything to mess with your DNA. Seeing as how you've already changed it could make you sick. Do you understand me?"He remembered his father telling him.

Charles grew pale, those injections, that's what was happening to him. "..oh god.."He whispered, looking at his hands.

Now its time for every problem ever )

Alex was picking at her own snack before she heard him speak and looked up at him worryingly "W-what?" she asks worried and looks into his eyes "D-do you need a doctor?" she asks worryingly and looked like she was upset to say the least, She did not want her new best friend to be hurt or sick

Charles took his glasses of and rubbed his eyes before rubbing his hands together. This couldn't be happening! "No! No doctors,no one can know."Charles told her, he sounded so panicked, as if something awful was about to happen. Which, in his personal opinion, things were already getting bad and they were only going to get worse. But the one thing he knew he needed to avoid was going to a doctor here, who knew what they would do to him.

Alex looks at him and shakes him "B-but it looks like something is wrong with you!" she yells panicked making the solders stare at the two curiously. now Alex had attracted the attention of the solders, just perfect. Alex looked panicked and worried sick, she too looked like she was going to throw up

"Alex!"Charles shouted once, and grabbed her by the shoulders. "Trust me, this is not something I want any to know! If you want everything to be fine and safe then drop it!"He told her in a firm voice. Despite the fear shining clearly in his blue-green eyes he seemed to calm and serious. He tensed when he noticed the solders were watching them very closely, slowly he let go of her.

she looked upset now, like she would cry and run off but she shook her head and grabbed his arm back and looked into his eyes "No you are not, I can tell" she says whispering and gets a serious look "I just got you, I am not losing you!" she says sternly with a look of determination in her eyes not to let him off that easy or let him go that easy either

He looked like he was about to explode at any moment."You'll lose me if you say anything!"He hissed. Charles then slid his glasses on, took Alex by the wrist and quickly left the mess hall. He didn't stop until he was sure they were far from other people,mainly adults.
"Listen to me right now, when I was 12 years old, I got sick with a virus that nearly had me in bed for a damn month. After I got better my parents took me to their office, you know what they found out. They found out that freaking virus had re-written my DNA. That's why I have telekinesis, and that's why no one can know about me being sick thanks to the damn injections!"He explained to her.

she seemed to feel pain and when he let go she rubbed her wrists while he spoke, and she looks at him and sighs "...will you die?" she asks, looking very upset "I dont want you to...to..." she sobs and hugs him close, she sobs and rubs his back. she looked very sad, she did not want him to die, She just met him and she felt so close to him already, He saved her life and she wanted to do the same if she could

Charles let all his fear and panic sweep out of him, he was scaring one of the few friends he had in this place. "I'm not going to die...my dad told me I would get sick again. It's like my body views the injections as some sort of virus or Bactria, so my bodies fighting it off."He spoke softly as he explained things to her. Then he hugged her back, he didn't like seeing people upset.
Another dizzy spell came, it lasted longer but he just shut his eyes, waiting for it to pass.

She looks at him and rubs his cheek "Come, You need to lie down" she says and pulls on his hand and starts to walk back towards her room... She was more pulling him along, She was oddly strong for her age and size
