With a finger he pointed at the assault rifle resting on his back. "I didn't want things to escalate and a way you would regret it..."He answered. Then he took a few steps forward,"I have a question for you, what makes you think these people aim to hurt or make your friends ill? After all, it's clear that you don't have to take the injections, you and I are proof of that. Not to mention the doctors cannot control what these...injections do to a certain individual. So, why shoot, or threaten the messenger?"He asked.

he folds his arms "I dont have a choice, if I was not as strong as I am right now they would have tied me to a bed and jabbed me with those needles" he says and looks at Ace "and I was not going to kill or threaten the scientists... some are friendly and I know they are just following orders" he says and looks around sighing "So I would rather destroy this work than their lives, If I killed them it make me no better than those Augments that killed my...." he sighs "...my friends" he says and sits down

Ace looked down at him,"...I am sorry, for all of this..."He trailed off, looking around as if he was looking for something to say. Slowly his eyes ventured back to the floor, until something in his pocket buzzed. Quickly, he shut it off,"..Quite frankly, do you really believe that your that strong. Yes in strength, but what about in other things?"Ace asked,"...I saw you run in the opposite direction when your friend collapsed, shouldn't you be with him?"

he looks at him "...I...I should your right but... I-I I just...I just dont handle well in situations with my friends when they are hurt" he says sighing and looks away "it reminds me of..." he sighs and looks back at Ace "...what happened to my old friends has weakened me in terms of mental health and stability thats for sure..." he says and sits down sighing putting his hands in his face "...Besides Alex is probably a better choice to hang around with him, She enjoys having him around" he says and lays down sighing

Ace sighed, his teal gaze once again going to the floor. "...You don't have to explain your self to me...I know, to some degree,what you're going through.."He told him, with a short lived smile. It was sad and weak. "...It's..never easy."He added in with a sigh.

he sighs "tell me about it" he says and looks at him "does that mean you were not always alone?" he asks curiously and folds his arms waiting for his answer, he did seem to know what he was going through... a little TOO well, as if he had gone through the same thing to some degree

"..At first I was,you see I'm an orphan so there wasn't much for me...that was until I met them...I hope you know about the few kids that just appeared here, I was one of them. And where I came from there are militaristic schools. That's how I met my friends, and then almost all of them died.."He said softly, and then swallowed. Everyone had their own past problems always nagging at them. This happened to be Aces.

he sighs and nods "I hate it when you have done no wrong... yet the world takes from you, and then sometimes when people do wrong the world keeps on giving" he says and hugs his knees and looks around and sighs and looks at Ace "I just hope you...you did not do what I did when that happened" he says sighing and looks at his hands and sighs

"...I did, my friends, they didn't want to go. So, I and the girl that survived held sat with them and held their hands..then they were gone."As he spoke he rubbed his eyes and then took a long deep breathe. He hated what he was going to do next, he looked at his cards again..was it really worth it. Then again, like REQUIEM said, orders are orders, and he was a little solider that tried not to disobey.

"that is like me..." he sighs and looks at Ace "...there were actually two survivors of the project" he says sighing and looks at the ground and then back at him but did not continue past that and he sighed hugging his knees and looked around

"..I see..REQUIEM, who's suppose to be our target? Who are you suppose to fight?"He asked suddenly, his voice even calmer then earlier. What was he suppose to do? What would he do?

he shrugs "The enemies of Earth I guess..." he says and sighs looking around and stretches "Hell if I know though, they keep me in the dark so much!" he yells in annoyance and shakes his head "sometimes I swear this is not even a government approved project" he says sighing

{Hmm, should guards find out who Ace is and try and capture him?}

{Hmm, if you want sure! that would cause quite a bit of conflict for REQUIEM since he still thinks he is just another kid, and he already is on bad terms with the guards at this point)

That was awake call, the government wanted to get rid of Ace and the rest of his team. He had a feeling this is what it would come down to.."Because, none of this is authorized by the government, not all of the government anyways."Ace told him. He drew a card when he heard people running down the hall towards the room. It seemed like he was out of time.

he looked shocked to hear this and when he heard the footsteps he took out his rifle and aimed it at the door "go on..." he says to Ace aiming his Assault rifle carefully at the door clenching it tightly as he was ready to shoot anyone who tried to capture Ace, he was done with this facility done with it all!

Ace shook his head,"I can't go."He told him, turning his back to REQUIEM with a card in hand. As if a tricky magic trick, a few other cards floated in front of him,"I'm that 'threat' that this part of the government wants eliminated."Ace told him just as the soldiers got to the door. Or so they thought they had gotten to the door. Ace had quickly taken a card into of his fingers and aiming it at the door way. There was a small, but powerful explosion.

he jumped hearing the explosion and looked back at him "what the-" he started but then just shook his head "never mind...I am leaving this place" he says and walks out of the room putting his helmet on and started to walk to the medical bay

Alex heard the explosion and jumped and took out her security pistol and put one hand on Charles chest aiming the pistol at the door carefully
