Ace tried to sallow the lump in his throat. Death, had come to soon for some people.

Rain didn't care about the soldiers that kept trying to kill or keep them inside the building, but this boy had crossed the line. She knew that there was no honor in killing those who choice to surrender, or those that could barely fight. What made it even more worse that this was a child doing this, a boy.
"REQUIEM!"Rain snapped just before grabbing his arm. For someone who was so petite she had a strong grip,"What the hell do you tihnk you're doing. There are people that are wounded, there are people that have surrendered and you're killing them! Tell me why and it better not be for revenge!"

"...will he?"Charles cared to ask. "His a kid that's been altered for war, so just because you read his file doesn't mean much, at this point I think it depends if he'll stop."

the girl poked her head out and looked up at him "I have your six kay?" she says and the kids got between them

he forces his hand out of her grip "DID THESE BASTARDS GIVE THOSE KIDS A CHANCE WHEN THEY DID NOTHING WRONG?" he asks folding his arms staring her down "Did they get a chance? NO! Why should I give them one! And I dont want to hear all that crap about "Being the bigger person!" I am done with all this crap!" he says and looks back at the death he had caused

she looks at him "....He wont stop if they have killed any children" she says sighing and holds her chest

Ace smiled at that, a human having an elves back, now that was something else. "Glad to know.."He said, and then stopped. "By the way, I understand that aren't my team, but I want you to all understand something right now. If someone is injured, lacking a weapon, or surrendering do not acknowledge them. There is little point in wasting ammo and energy on them."Ace said to them before he continued walking forward.

"No, I doubt they did but killing anyone injured or noticed that they were in the wrong make you no matter than the soldiers who are still killing children. No stop wasting you time on them and clear a path like you said you would!"She said to him. REQUIEM didn't even began to intimidate her.

"Exactly..the way he talks about this is so full of hatred...what if his hatred for this place eats him up? What if he changes because of this?"Charles asked her. He had valid questions.

she smiles and sighs "umm, My weapon is on stun anyways...." she sighs and looks at him "I dont think I could remove someone from this world and away from their families" she sighs and looks at him "I know I sound weak its just...I cant do that" she sighs and folds her arms

REQUIEM smirks "I am" he says and shoots another solder "Now I dont need to be LECTURED by you, If you dont like what I am doing go back to your friends back there" he says and could see he had just effectively wiped out fifty five lives in this area and smirks continuing on

she sighs "...Charles, REQUIEM lost four of his friends here" she says and folds her arms, Now that did not add up, Chris said he lost FIVE friends in this event

Ace looked at the girl."..that's not weak at all. It what makes you human, makes you better than those that enjoy killing. That enjoy war and death."He told her. How could he say that was weak thinking when he was the same way. Unless they were a threat until the very end, he wouldn't kill them.

Rain tapped something in her ear,"I need back up, REQUIEM needs to be stunned."She said to one of her people over a device before following him. Rain didn't hesitate putting her blade in front of him. "Don't make me use this on you. You'll regret it, I assure you."
Rain was a commander for obvious reasons, she was just as lethal as REQUIEM. But she thought things through to ensure that if she only wanted to knock someone out she would.

"Yeah..I know that.."He stopped," No he lost five of his friends. Not that it matters, your going to just accept this? Your going to accept him taking revenge out on this place?! What if he dose change?! What if he gets hurt for his foolishness?!"He asked her.

she smiles and him and nods happily and looks around "Clear" she says and slowly backs away

he heard her call for her troops, he had ultra sensitive hearing when she pointed her blade at him he looks up at him and laughs "do you really think stun rounds will work on my armor? You dont think the military would not have thought about that?" he stomps his foot "This is not any of YOUR BUSINESS!" he yells and looks her down "Now move..." he says folding his arms

Alex looks at him "Just let him take out his anger... It will only result in his anger growing!" she says panicked and sighs "no he lost four friends Charles... there was another...another survivor" she sighs upset and looks up at him

"Right let-"He stopped when he heard Rain in the device. He had to quicken the pace or he wouldn't be able to insure her safety. The only other person that survived that war from so long ago. "..Come on, you all go to the infirmary!"Ace ordered, pointing at the medical room.

She rolled her eyes at him, he was acting like a child not getting his way. "Hah, what makes you think we use guns?"She asked him. They wouldn't be using stun rounds on him, they would be using something this boy had never seen.

REQUIEM snapping at her only made her stand completely in his way. "No. I'm not going to stand aside well a child throw his life away."

"...Alex, who's the other survivor?"He asked her.

she nods "I will make sure they get there!" she says smiling and runs with the others back to the medical ward

he starts to laugh again, then for a few seconds he cries, then laughs again and shakes his head. It was pretty clear that something had destroyed this kids mental stability, most likely the events from his past, which would mean after such an event the people here never gave him a psychiatric work-up. "Ma'am I dont know who you are, but you clearly have no clue what I am..." he says looking at the floor and then looks up at her "I was BRED to throw me life away it is my job!" he says in a oddly happy tone and runs his hands along the walls "Take no prisoners they said, stop for nothing they said" he starts to laugh again "Well maybe next time...maybe...maybe next time they will be more specific about who not to take prisoners for!" he laughs again

Alex sigh and looked up at him "...Alice" she sighed "Alice was the other survivor but she does...she does not remember" she sighs and kicks a piece of ruble "from what I read she and him survived, but she was hit harder than he was, She...She went into a large stage of depression...She...She attempted suicide three times Charles and...and after the third the Scientist's said she was too far gone to be helped so they did a surgery...and they...removed the part of her brain that stored old memories and, And now she cannot remember anything of it" she sighs and sits down

"Thank you, very much."Ace said, then looked past the infirmary. There was no time to waste, he had to do what he had to so, so he ran to where Rain and REQUIEM stood.

Rain frowned, she really didn't want to hurt the boy. "Listen to me, do you want to continue being the experiment bred for war? Do you?"She asked him, still not moveing from where she stood. "..You can be more than that.."

Charles mouth fell open in shock,"...They did so much to them....no wonder he's so angry...But."He trailed off, looking toward the door in time to see someone run past.

she calls out "no thank you!" she says happily and runs into the medical ward

he looks up at her with a sad look "no I cannot...B-but Alice...Alex, Jerome, Douglas and Charles! They can! I..I want them out of here!" he says and looks around and clenches his fist "I am getting rid of the problem...the only way I know how..." he looks up at her "I love them...I love all of them like a family, I want them to be safe, I dont want these...I dont want these...these people to get their hands on them again" he says sighing and folding his arms

Alex sighs "he...He is quite very much gone...The doctors wanted to do a work up on him, because he was unstable but...but the solders would not let them!" she says in anger and sighs "...They said it would make him more lethal on the battle field and...and now look what happened" she says sighing and sobs

"There are other ways to get them out of here just as long as your willing to learn. And you must remember, not everyone that was there then is here now."Rain pointed out to him, placing a comforting hand on his arm. Her dark green eyes went to Ace when he skidded to a halt just a few feet away from them.
He didn't move from where he was standing until he had taken a small breather. This place wasn't small at all. Bent over his hands on his knees he watched the two in silence.

Charles looked to the floor, a great sadness filling his blue green eyes. Until he felt tears stinging his eyes as large tear droplets fell onto the surface of his shakeing hands. "...I..hate this place.."

"L-learn...thats not.." he moves away from her and looks around and sighs "look at what I...I did" he says and moves into a corner and hugs his knees and looks at his arms, he grabs a patch on his armor and rips it off and throws it across the room and looks at the floor shaking "I dont...I dont...I...I...I dont..." he just kept repeating and rubbing his knees and sobs "I dont think...I can" he says and grabs his helmet and takes it off and screams "I HATE THESE PEOPLE!" he screams and throws his helmet so hard it shatters in half on the table and he buries his face in his arms

Alex looks at him and rubs his tears away sighing sadly "Your not the only one..." he says and looks up at him and hugs him tightly, again putting her legs around his waist so she could be at his height

Rain, being fairly smart in this decision, took a few steps back so REQUIEM had some space to vent and breathe. She listened to what he had to say, she listened to his screaming and shouting before walking over to him. She knelt down in front of him,"...Hey, look at me."She says softly.

Ace breathes a sigh of relief to see him..calm down? He was afraid that something like this was going to happen, why else was he trying to catch up to REQUIEM.

"...Alex.."He said softly, looking away.".."There was nothing else he thought of saying. He just wanted to be alone but didn't have the strength to voice that. He hardly had the strength to push her away, so he didn't move.

REQUIEM sighs and sobs and looks at Her "IS Alice ok?" he asks looking worried all of a sudden looking at her having one hand on his chest looking very worried "Is she ok?" he just kept repeating and he shook a little, either because he was cold or because he was scared or just because he was slowly losing it

Alex rubbed the back of his head softly "Charles...I am here for you, You dont have to do this alone..." she says and holds him close and rubs his back and back of the head softly

Rain blinked a few times. She had no idea who that was. The only reason she knew any of the children's names was because they called each other so willingly. "Ace, go look for her.alright?"She told him, but didn't speak to him the same way as she did to the other people on her team.
He nodded before going off to find her.

"hmm.."Nothing. He didn't want to say anything.

he wipes his eyes and sighs clutching his fists "I hope she is...is ok I dont want anything...anything bad happening to her" he sobs and shakes his head sobbing "I dont want her...dead" he says sobbing and wipes his tears again, he was broken, after years of neglect and going through the worst possible things had finally taken its toll and he looks up at her "She means...so much..." he says and looks back down at the ground

She just comforted him happily

{I'm debating if there should be a little surprise in the basement, it's not an experiment, but it will shock them. Should Alice and Ace find it?}

Rain set her sword down and gave him a tried smile."Shh..I'm sure she's alright.."Rain comforted him. The young woman tilted her head to get a better view of his face, he was really having a difficult time with all of this. "Here, take my hand so we can go see Alex and Charles."

"Alice?"Ace called as he walked around. He was conversing energy just in case anything happened.

Charles sighed and shut his eyes."..come...on."He said

his face was red, sore from his tears and his eyes were blood shot and his hair had split ends and he was shaking, REQUIEM looks up at her "I...I dont want to...I will only... cause more problems" he says and buries his face in his knees again sighing

after a few seconds a voice called back "...Ya in here" she says, she was in the stair well to the basement about half way down "I heard something down here"

Alex rubs his head and looks into his closed eyes "Come on?" she asked curiously

{Ooooh this should be good.}

"Now, don't say that. Charles ans Alex seemed concerned about you, do you want to quiet their fears?"She asked him, rubbing his back. It was starting to show that she was a teacher.

Ace arched an eyebrow, but went to where she was. "...Alice, REQUIEM is deeply concerned about you.."He informed her as they descended down the stairs. When they got to the bottom the Ace held his breathe.

There, in the room, was a boy chained up and suspended a few inches off the ground. His black hair hung over his pale face, and stood just at his knees. Around him was some soldiers that instantly aimed their guns at the two. The boy's head rose just a bit.

"..let's go, I'm not waiting any longer."He told her, opening his eyes.

"I cant...I just cant..." he says shaking and looked away and rocked back and forth "take Alice and the others and leave...Leave me here"

Alice sighs happily "he is?...that is so much like him" she says and giggles "But I can handle myself ju-" she stopped when she saw the boy chained up and the solders and she looked at them and the solders, she looked at Ace and made a small jester for him to look at her fingers and her hand began to tell him to attack, Just then she made an energy shield out of her wrist which could block quite a large amount of bullets before going down, she takes out a pistol and fires from the side of the shield at the solders

she nods and gets down taking his hand and walks along, she blushes rubbing his hand
