{That's what I've been thinking about...}

{Well, they could find REQUIEM, maybe they just talk and get to know each other more and live a normal life, when some sort of event arises?}

Charles looked at his parents, Amanda shook her head, she knew that Alice needed some time.That for the time being she might as well be untouchable.A shell of her formal self is what they would see until everything started to look up again.Until they found REQUIEM.

Hurt was evident in his pale,icy blue eyes as he looked at May."...Not that it matters. It was her choice to say that.What's said is said, and not much can change with that, sorry, May."Leo told her. A shaky sigh came from the tiny teenage boy,he may come off cold and distant, but Leo was as fragile as glass.If certain people aren't careful, he might just shatter, but when Leo shatters he temper rears it's ugly little head.

Douglas looks at Charles "We should leave... it wont take long for any other military installations to figure out something bad has happened here" he says looking around and puts his helmet back on and scans the area, it seemed clear, His radar had not lied to him yet.

May nods "its alright...I am no stranger too bullying" she says softly and rubs her own arm and looks down and lets out a sigh, her nice attitude was not normally well received in such a serious and hostile environment such as the military installation, and she was very clumsy so she was teased for that too. "S-so if you wish to be alone, that's fine I understand" she says softly

"...I'll get Alice then..."Charles said, running a hand through his hair. Alice was in a vulnerable state, and Charles wasn't going to leave her behind. Not if some other person would take her to another place like this one. He would get her to come with them, he wasn't going to leave her alone.

Leo looked at May, even though his bangs covered his pale eyes, anyone could see the sympathy in his eyes. He knew she was trying to reach out to him, but to hear that someone sweet like her had also suffered from bullying, just like him. "..No.. you don't have to go anywhere. You're fine where you are."He said.

Alice was wondering through the forest. she was sobbing, she sat down on a rock and looked at the ground, For the first time in forever, she had no clue what to do! she had just snapped, something she had SWORN never to do! she lost her best friend... the one she loved more than anything or anyone! she may never see him again! she broke out into tears again and put her hands in her face and sobbed

she smiled a little and she nodded "...hay, after this...do you want to...play? or...hang out?" she asked curiously "I want to make more friends! now that I am free to do so!" she said with a huge smile on her face.

Charles sighed once again before turning on his heels and walked towards the forest. There was no telling how long he was going to be out there, looking for Alice, who was probably still crying. Or crying even more. Charles shook his head, then continued looking for her through the forest.

Leo seemed perplexed by her question. Almost like not many people had asked him something like that, and he really didn't 'play' anymore. It actually took him a bit to look at her and say something,"..maybe..."

Alice looked at her left hand. she smiled a little, she had a scar on it...a half heart on it. she sobbed a little and she put her hand to her heart and sighed "I miss you..." she said gently as she looked at the sky

May smiled brightly "Yay!" she said happily and she looked around a bit. she then shyly looked at the ground "I...apologize in advance if I screw anything up..." she said gently and sadly "As it seems that is something I normally do... like that time I activated the fire alarm when I accidentally leaned up on it... that time I tripped and not only hurt myself...but three others...and that time my gun slipped and I shot REQUIEM in the foot..." she said gently with a guilty look

Jerome and Douglas seemed to be talking, about what to do when this was all over. whether they would either go off and live on their own... or stay with the rest of their team... as they were like family to one another "I personally would rather stay with the rest of them..." Douglas said as he tapped his foot. Jerome sighed "I will stay until we find REQUIEM... but then I am off" Jerome said, but then got a curious look "why? when are you leaving?" Jerome asked. Douglas shrugged "I guess...when everyone else is old enough to move on" he said bluntly.

Charles wasn't fond of forest and hiking of sorts for a valid reason. He was very clumsily in wooded areas like this since he was more concerned about what he could run into. Poison ivy. Snakes. Spiders. Ticks, oh the amount of diseases a tick had made him shudder. Just the thought of having one of those beetle like bugs stuck to him made him nauseous. He shook his head, he had to focus on finding Alice, she really couldn't have gotten that far, could she?

Charles stopped long enough to listen, and soon he did pick up on what sounded like distant crying. "...please..don't leave."Charles thought aloud. Then he began making his way towards her, following her crying.

REQUIEM may have needed to be shoot in the foot again just so he could feel what he had done to his friends. Then again, Leo had no real room to speak. At least he had the ability to run, the strength. Leo met people that had also manged to worm their way past his rough shell and right into his heart. "..I doubt you'll screw anything up."He said after a long-ish silence. He bit his tongue to prevent himself from saying 'I might screw things up for you..',that wasn't something to say to someone else.

Leo then glanced at the other boys, Jerome and Douglas. His pale eyes went from one boy to the other as they spoke about what to do next. "...you know you can always just stay with Teacher."He suggested softly. Yes, Leo realized they had no idea who Teacher was, but it was better than leaving everything up to maybe.

Alice looked over the cliff side. her white eyes sparkling... only due to the amount of tears in her eyes. She looked at her scar once more... then a small data chip. she then looked over the cliff side again. she was not going to jump... hell no, that would do no one any good. Especially to REQUIEM's already minuscule sanity. She did wish that she could have talked to him. she tapped her foot gently as she cried gently. She felt she could never truly be the same without REQUIEM... The two had been through so much! helping each other out with tasks, training or school issues... there were times they would just sneak off together somewhere and just be in each other's company. No words were needed... they just sat together and they would just stay close.

she smiled a little from hearing this "thanks...I will try not too" she said gently as she looked around a bit. her ear twitched a bit and she got a curious look. she slowly stood up and looked around a bit

Jerome and Douglas both turned to look at Leo "What teacher?" they both asked in unison, though, Jerome said it in a more demanding tone... while Douglas had a more...curious one. However, Jerome's eyes spotted May acting a little funny and he folded his arms and looked at her "what's the matter kid?" he asked curiously. May looked at him "I thought I heard so-" she stopped and screamed when she was thrown by something... something coming out of the ground!

After a few minutes of stumbling around, trying to avoid anything that looked bad in general, he finally saw the ridge edge of a cliff. For a second, Charles heart fell into the pit of his stomach, until he heard crying. Normally crying was bad, oddly enough healthy, but no one liked to see other cry. Until now, hearing Alice crying mean she was still alive and hadn't done anything stupid."..Alice!"Charles called, hurrying over to her, and nearly tripping over a log in the process. He stumbled to a sudden stop.

Leo nodded,taking note of what she said and also noticing an odd sound. Although he brushed it off since the other boys had gotten his attention. There was a clear hint of irritation directed Jerome's way due to his tone. No one demanded anything from Leo, not unless he or she wanted a bloody nose and a black eye to match. "Not what, whom. His actual name is Garry, he's a foster parent, one that likes being called Teacher.."Leo explained to them.

Upon hearing May scream Leo instantly covered his ears,wincing in pain. At least he backed up when he felt the ground shake.

Alice's eyes went wide for a bit, she slowly turned and looked at her. she sobbed gently "I'm sorry..." she said softly, and she looked at the ground "I am sorry for what I said..." she said, sounding like she had her heart shattered into thousands of pieces "I...I did...didn't mean it" she said gently as she hugged her knees and cried into them. She was very sorry for what she said... she just... felt like everyone had screwed up and been the reason REQUIEM left... she was in denial... she just could not comprehend that REQUIEM was gone

Jerome and Douglas nodded. Jerome tapped his foot "is that where you are all headed? unless you have parents of your own...and I do think Alex will want to stay by Charles none the less" he said looking around a bit

May slowly got off the ground to see a giant, Walker thing! it was huge! it was at least fifteen feet tall! the thing looked at the group. one pilot in the cockpit. "By orders, we are to stop you from leaving by any means necessary! No one will leave th-" the man was cut off when Jerome had fired a laser cannon blast into the leg joint, causing it to stagger quite a bit "you may talk big...but your foolishness is even bigger if you think you can take ALL of us on!" Douglas said sternly

He shook his head, and then walked over to her. "Hey.."Charles began and knelt down beside her." Leo just has one too many opinions that you didn't need to hear, okay? He isn't even angry at you."He told Alice.

Leo let out a dry laugh at that statement, his parents were gone. Well one of them happened to be gone, the other parent was to remain a secret. "That's where I'm headed anyways, and you do realize Amanda and Charles Senior are barely home right?"

Amanda looked at her husband and then the group in dismay.

Leo had taken quite a few steps back now, and seemed to recover from May's screaming. "Wait!"Leo snapped at Douglas, he looked back at the..thing. There was a person in there, and that meant answers.

she sobbed gently "I still...she not have been...taking out my sorrow on others...t-that...that's not right..." she said softly as she looked at her, her white eyes now blood shot and red from all the crying. her cheeks just as red too! she was shaking and it looked like she had not even a glimmer of happiness on her face. She looked so upset! it was like she was missing a piece of herself...and she had no clue how to find or get it back

Jerome shrugged "I guess that would give Charles someone to talk to and be around during the day?" he suggested as he looked around

Douglas eyed him curiously. then nodded "Oh..." He said nodding in understanding. the walker slowly stood back up and the pilot eyed Douglas and Jerome.

Charles swallowed, she didn't look good at all, he needed to find REQUIEM and fast. What he had been told started swimming around in his head as he began to wonder if this had anything to do with that experiment. "..Alice, calm down."He told her.

"And Chubs, or K-Pop"He emphasized on Charles two nicknames," is generally at school. I'm surprised he is not freaking out about all the days he has missed at this point."He told Jerome. There was one thing Leo defiantly knew about Charles, he was a perfectionist, and loved school.

The smaller teenager looked at the walker, and tapped on the walkers metal protection."..I suggest you come out now, or I will make you get out."Leo threatened. It was a bit hard to see that as a threat with as small as Leo was, and he knew that. But hopefully the pilot wasn't that cocky.

she sobbed more and she hugged her knees tighter. she did not answer him for a good ten seconds "I...I don't...k-know if I c-can!" she said now balling her eyes out once more.

Jerome shrugged "so they would see each other at school then? we were educated in there believe it or not... All I am saying is that Charles is Alex's first... if not only friend and I do not think she will lose him easily"

The pilot was considering fighting, however... seeing the fact that Leo had some strange powers, at least...from what he heard from the military report. and the fact Jerome had a laser cannon and Douglas had a quad rocket launcher... he felt it was better if he did not put up a fight. the Pilot sighed and he deactivated the walked and he slowly stepped down it and he glared daggers at Leo "What do you want?" he asked sternly

Crying was something Charles really wasn't good with, he was suddenly thinking about when Alex had been crying. He hadn't done that great of a job cheering her up either. He gently patted her back with a sigh, "you can, and you know it. Just take deep easy breathes."Charles said.

It wasn't that Leo was saying they weren't educated, he was simply pointing out for a sixteen year old boy he had a crazy schedule. "...oh boy.."Was all Leo had to say. Charles first actual friend was his neighbor, Cameron Blackestone. Leo did wonder how that one was going to work out.

Glaring at Leo wasn't really going to help the Pilot at all, Leo hoped he would realize that soon enough."...Why are you doing this? Do enjoy seeing children in pain? If you do then you really are some kind of twisted and really wouldn't mind wiping your existence off the face of the planet."He told the Pilot , crossing his arms.

Alice looked up at Charles. she nodded slowly and she looked at her scar on her hand "I...remember...where I got this...me and REQUIEM were...six...or seven years old" she said gently, Which would not add up! she had her memory erased! right? she sighed "the guards did not like me and REQUIEM being so close...they would always try and split us up. we always use to draw this heart as a symbol of our friendship... the guards would always wash it off" she said and then she laughed gently "REQUIEM...then came up with the CRAZY idea to cut ourselves a heart...to show that we could never be separated...Th-though...to me this heart has taken on a greater meaning than...friends for the past five years of my life" she said gently and she sobbed "I want...to find him" she said softly

the pilot groaned, he seemed to have a slight Australian accent. "L-look. I never said what I was doing is right! but it is not like I have a choice! I try and run, or I disobey orders they hunt you down and kill you! simple as that!" he said and he looked at Leo
