"I always get stared where ever I go...." She murmured, shoving aside the hair that covered the left side of her face and revealing an elaborate tattoo of some sorts. "Not to mention my eyes draw attention too." She picked up another napkin and handed it to Leo, seeing as the first one was becoming soaked. "And what do you mean "The human race isn't alone, and I might be like you?""
Leo looked at the floor when she had told him that, he knew what that felt like. It was ironic that they both had some sort of tattoo on them, however Leo could hide his a lot easier than Jessebelle could.
He looked at her only when she mentioned her eyes,"..your eyes..they're pretty cool, so shouldn't people look?"He asked her. Funny that he was the one saying that, not even the relatives he was currently living with knew what his eyes looked like. Only his uncle knew what his eyes looked like. He took the next napkin with a sigh and continued with getting the milkshake out of his hair.
"....The human race was never alone..and..."He stopped speaking,he stopped messing with his hair. And then took his glasses off and brushed his bangs away from his pale face. "look into my eyes, then tell me what you think the answer is.."
Leo had icy blue eyes, that was normal, but the darker blue circles with golden and silver flecks through out his iris wasn't normal.

"I just prefer people to not stare at me like I'm some sort of science experiment...." Groaning, Jessebelle let her head fall into her hands.
"And....... you lost me again. How will looking into your eyes help?" She asked, glancing a look at his eyes. Once she made eye contact with him she couldn't break it, it was like they were connected, body and soul.
"Now your eyes are beautiful." She breathed, unable to tear her gaze from the icy blue eyes.

Leo understood that pain a little too much.Although, people had a tendency of having some sort of snide comment about him whether it be how he acted or his appearance. No one seemed to have a big enoguh heart to leave him or her alone.
"...Both of our eyes are different, unusual and rare."He said, figuring it had something to do with what they were. Whatever that was it clearly had some thing to do with being split in half. Leo looked away when she had complemented his eyes,"...uhh.."

Breaking his gaze, she shook her head to clear it. "Uh, I mean........" Jessebelle's face turned a fierce shade of red as she continued to shake her head dumbly, trying to figure out what he meant by unusual and rare. "Well, it's not like I can ask any of my family why my eyes are like this." She said suddenly, tears threatening to spill.
Leo cleared his throat as he reached for his glasses. He didn't say a single word about what had jut happened, not even the fact that he felt really..odd now. With a heavy sigh he looked at her again ans instantly saw the tears. "...I'm..sorry."He said, he didn't mean to upset her. "I was jut saying that it could be a possibility.."
"It-It's ok." Jessebelle wiped the tears from her eyes, putting on a determined face in the mean time. "If I'm so differen't, then what are my parents like?" She muttered more to herself than to Leo.
Leo glanced at her before shaking his head. Like he would know, at least he realized that she was mainly asking her self. "....not human, well, one of them isn't human."He told her. It was true, he just couldn't be sure if one of her parents were a different kind a being or just one was.
"So basically I have no way of finding out." Jessebelle grumbled, clearly a little mad that she couldn't finally find out who her parents were. She was only half looking forward to finally seeing her parents, the other half of her never wanted to find out, it just wanted to forget.
Leo gave her a weak shrug for his answer, well one of his bias answers. "..Unless you find them."He then said. It could work, for her at least. Leo couldn't ask his parents since they were both dead, but he could ask his uncle.
"Easier said then done....." She moaned, getting up from the table and tossing the empty milkshake cup into the trash. Walking towards the door, she tried to think of places she could go for the time being. But first thing was first, she needed to see a doctor to get her wrist checked because she was 95% positive it was broken.
Leo stood up,"..Maybe.."He was his response. Yes, finding your own parents wouldn't be an easy task especially when your parents abandon you. Still, finding parents had to be easier than talking to the dead, right? He sighed,"..where are you going now?"He asked her as he walked over to where she stood.
"Dunno, somewhere to stay the night?" Jessebelle said over her shoulder dismissively, not expecting Leo to follow her. "Know any good places where I can stay?" She asked, trying not to give him too much control.
Leo crossed his arms in thought. After a few moments of a long silence he looked at Jessebelle," I know someone that can give you a place to rest at without cost."He informed, but softly, as if he were telling her a secret. His pale gaze swept across what little people sat in the cafe, he didn't really trust them not to listen. "..ah,come with me."He said to her.
Despite coming off as a distant teenage boy it was a bit shocking to see him open and hold the door open for Jessebelle. In truth, underneath all of that cold aloofness was a sweet, caring gentlemen, but barely anyone knew that. Those people had wormed their selves into his heart, Leo wondered if this Jessebelle was going to try the same thing. She just seemed so friendly towards everyone and that was normally the people that got to him first."Come on.."

"Ok...." She responded to his statement, still curious as to why he was helping her. If she was like him, which she had no clue what he was, then it made sense that he was helping her. But since she didn't even know, then it was better to be safe than sorry.
Shrugging her shoulders absentmindedly to her thoughts, she followed Leo to the door, surprised herself because he was holding the door open for her. "I see you're already warming up a little." She giggled, walking through the door before he could say anything.

Leo looked at her with a puzzled expression,"..Your wrist is possibly broken, so I don't see why you should do much at the moment."He said, in truth he was warming up to her company, but would he admit that. No. Not to mention he had not a doubt in his mind that her wrist was still bothering her, so he thought he would help out a bit.
"We call him teacher.."He said as he shut the door.
"We call him teacher.."He said as he shut the door.
"Well thank you." Jessebelle said with a smile, shivering a bit despite the coat she wore. "Who do you call teacher?" She asked, waiting for Leo to catch up with her. The shadows were closing around them both, the streetlights casting an eerie glow all down the street.
"You're welcome."Leo replied with a small nod. His pale gaze went to the road, could he really get to Teachers from here? Well, he wouldn't know until he tried.
"Teacher is Garry, his uhh..."He trailed off. What could he say that wouldn't make her stare at him in disbelief. He knew he ran an orphanage and had three children of his own. His wife..was something else. Still, how do you tell someone that there has been an angel walking among the humans.

"Eh, doesn't matter." She said dismissively to her earlier question, as long as she wasn't in a jail or on the streets she was fine. "So, how far does this Garry live?" She asked, steering the conversation in a slightly different direction.
Leo thought for a moment,"...there is a neighborhood not to far from here. He lives on the edge of it, so I would say and hour or more."He replied.
He sighed, running a pale hand trough his hair, well his pangs. his hair was still in a pony tail, so he couldn't really do anything with that mess. What that woman had said to him, the way she reacted to the text message, it kept popping into his mind. What did this all mean? Leo pulled his phone out of his pocket to look at that message.
