HELLO!!!

This game is really easy. What does your username say about you?

For example, why did I pick mine "virusghost18"?

A long time ago I made a drawing of a kid who was from a technologically advanced world but died from a terrible accident. Somehow his consciousness managed to hang on and became a ghost within his world. Thus "Virus Ghost" was born. He later found out he was one out of 18 who were this way (Virusghost18).

Sadly I didn't go much further with the story. But I kept the name and made it into what I am called.

If I were to put an image to what I'd look like if I stayed true to my username I'd sort of look like I came from the Tron world of the Grid. But I'd be slightly corrupted and could glitch myself in or out of any situation.

Well my username is less creative.I like wolves so I picked wolf.Then I picked what color of wolf is the best white.I then combined them to make WhiteWolf.

I chose Rhythm for one reason. For one it one of my nicknames, even before I joined rpr. me and my friend wanted us to have uncommon nicknames, ones that more then likely nobody else in the world would have (YEAH IM TALKING TO YOU RHYME!). Seeing in 7th grade there was rarely a time where I was not tapping a pencil, or something in a particular rhythm, so thus the nickname rhythm was born.

Hmm, how did I come up with the name;Whimsicalpianist?

Well, to began with I love things that are different, for a lack of better words, unique. Out there in left field,almost like Alice in Wonderland{My all time favorite story, I swear}. I mean in person I guess you could say I'm a bit odd, so yeah...

Now about the pianist. Well, my all time(and the first manga I read in my life, D.Gray-Man, the main character in season three(Do not know what chapter or volume it is, sorry)discovers he can play the piano. In fact, he plays a beautiful song. The other reason is to keep the memory of my let grand father alive. When I was younger,even today, I wanted to learn how to play the piano and he tried to teach me, I didn't really remember anything. But it is the thought that counts, right?

The one I used to go by for years (and still do in some places) was Dragon Moon, because those are two things I've always been particularly fond of. The first time I RP'd, the character I used went by the name Linn. Later on, I started writing down gibberish to pull character names from, and among them was Novalyyn, which I became fondest of.

I developed the character Novalyyn, pulling a little from my playful Dragon Moon "identity" and my Linn character, and Novalyyn became my top personal character (she isn't anymore, and even when she was, I always considered her as a character separate from myself). I started adopting the name for myself in some places - easy to do since I'm not really in than many communities - and when I signed up here, I carried it with me (and for awhile I had no intention of adding the character Novalyyn or her family to my roster, but they ended up there anyway).

AshAngg2000 is my PC Minecraft name, but I forgot to capitalize the 2 a's, so ya...
But I made it because I liked Pokémon (Ash) and The Last Airbender (Aang; yes, I realize I spelled the name wrong.) and the 2000 was just a random number.

mk_97 was a username derived from my name (Mark) and probably John Madden Football (I was thinking Madden NFL 97 at the time). I needed a decent handle while playing Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal back then, so I stuck with this one.

My internet alias started out as kid_chronocrossrocks BUT that is a mouthful. And I was about 11 when I made it. When I turned 13 or whatever and was highly into anime I decided that I needed something a lot shorter and easy to remember. Reeno was a character that I created when I was in 5th grade. She was a space pirate based off of Ryoko from Tenchi and then modeled after myself. (Horrible character, really). Anyways, people at school called me Reeno until I graduated and went to college, so I just went with it. Alchemist roots from my obsession with Full Metal Alchemist. I had wanted to create my own character, Reeno to be in it like I had done with DBZ most of my life but I decided that I was in a point in my life where I wanted to devote myself to making my own stories, not borrowing from others.

Anyways, tldr; Took one of my oldest characters, Reeno and combined it with Alchemist because I effing love FMA

I have two internet aliases. But I'll just analyze the one I use here for you guys.

I made it when I was 15, hence the number at the end. Around that time I was dealing with crippling depression but no one believed me when I told them I was depressed because I was so good at hiding it. I smiled so much and numbed myself to the pain I was feeling, so that no one suspected how I really felt. When I told my parents I had depression they didn't believe me. No one believed me until I got to go to a counselor and talk and admitted I was thinking about killing myself. After that I was put in a behavioural hospital for a month. But because of those events, I found lying smile to be a fitting name. Because while I did smile a lot, it was all a lie. I considered/consider myself a professional liar when it comes to how I feel. I am the girl with the lying smile. Therefore, I became lyingsmile15.

If tldr:
I'm a frigging liar when it comes to emotions. And I made the name when I was 15.
I have a (lying) (smile) and I was (15).

when I originally started here it was through furc and since then its stuck with me lol my profile picture was made by a friend on furc

The "Genius" part of my name I guess only exists because I was feeling braggy? But, I knew "Scribe" would be in my name when registering for this website as I knew writing is obviously what I have to do, and scribes... write.
And my picture is a scribe

No clue what I was thinking when I came up with it. I just like how it looks when it's written, especially with a lowercase i.

Well the reason behind 'Gamers' is pretty easy. I play a LOT of games. However, I almost did use a different username entirely. The username you almost saw in place of 'Gamers' here, was 'Oove' (ooh-vee).

Oove originated as a character from the game Everquest 2. He was actually the first character I made. I found the name on a generator for the game and used it, and then came to love it. Eventually I used it on a few other sites, and now almost every place I go on I am Oove or Oove Volcae (the later of which is now my pen name, and I sign all of my poems and songs as such). Another, slightly used, Username that also made it on the list of possible choices for the site was Omocc. That was my second character created on the game.

What actually stopped me from using these as my username was the fact that I wanted to eventually use them in an RP. It wasn't until later that I realized I really don't have any background or play style for them, for they were not on RP servers like Pieridae (one of my characters that is from EQ2, his name actually means butterfly. That was chosen because he is a fae.). And so, I decided to go with Gamers!



Now I disagree! Usernames are a reflection of who we are. Now, while maybe not the most 'internet safe' (remember all those commercials and seminars?), your username is a direct representation of you who are because, well, it literally is you!

I do think a little about the lost city of Atlantis, but that usually isn't what comes to mind. To be honest I think you have one of the coolest names on here. It carries the same mystical air as the city of Atlantis, but yet some how has its own identity. So with that, good job on picking it out!

Spellplague is the name given to when magic was destroyed/damaged after Mystra died in the Forgotten Realms continuity As much as I may never have played the tabletop, I like the continuity (and D&D in general), so I thought it fit pretty well.

Some years ago I joined SecondLife when SL was new. I wanted a new name not tied to other names, and I liked really short nicknames, and I was on a kick with Z names. I basically just threw letters together til I made something that I thought looked neat. Zhi, and then I chose the last name Nightfire since you can only pick from a list of last names. I ended up getting fairly well known for my jewelry making on SL, and so the nickname Zhi in one form or another sorta carried over to other online communities. When I first made it I didn't even realize it was Chinese in origins. Now, I'm just sort of 'stuck with it' I guess haha.

This is one of two that I usually swap back and forth with; I often like to joke that I'm a modern-day Neo with it.

Far, far less interesting a reason nowadays than it was way back when I first thought to use it, "Chanson" is the French term for any lyrically-driven song, often secular in genre. Seeing as, behind the keyboard, this one tends to find himself mixed up in as many musical events possible at any given time, it seemed extremely fitting. The only downside is that I'm not French, it just seemed a cool nickname to stand out in the community with.

I settled on MusicalDemon because of an old joke with friends. I used to have moments where they would say one thing (anything at all, even 'wow this is awful') and I would instantly think of a song that went with it or had matching lyrics and would sing it at them. I love all kinds of music, but when those moments hit it was like a demon shoving random songs in my ear all day long. It was possession, I couldn't stop myself.
