The soulless knight arrived at the Far Horn Palace early the next morning, it had taken close to teo days to get there by horse cart. The knight too him inside to meet the emperor but Haru was visiting a friend two towns over. Relic was used to waiting, the knight gave him a comfortable room and left the giant soul thief. The soulless knight sent telicans (telephone pelicans) out across the Far Horn to all the guardian guilds to be on the look out for Prince York and his harlot follower. "Kill the girl and capture York," the soulless knight said, "at any cost!"
Yuu woke up the next morning and yawned. She stretched and sat up. She could actually get used to this, the beds were incredibly comfortable. Though, she knew it'd be awhile since they were poor now. She laughed slightly at the thought and shook her head. She sat up and assumed York was still asleep as she put on her sweater and double checked her pouch to make sure no one came in in the middle of the night and robbed them. She had to be careful with their remaining money. Besides that, she sat in a nearby chair. She pulled out her book and started reading it again until York woke up.
York turned over I. His sleep remembering Relic consuming his soul. It's like he could feel it inside Relic fading away slowly, being slowly digested by whatever dark magic the helmet man had dwelling inside of him. The boy awoke with a jerk to the inn on fire and his father standing in the door way laughing as he closed the door slowly. Rams jumped out of bed and and towards the door finding it to be locked. A low growl interrupted his banging on the door, and he turned around. Yuu's limp body fell from Relic's clutched. The beast took off the helmet slowly and Rams eyes truly opened into reality. Sweating profusely, York sat up, "damn Relic..."
Yuu looked up from her book as York sat up, she looked at him confused and put away the book. "What's wrong, you seemed to be having a nightmare." She said and stood up. "Are you alright?" She asked, concerned about York and what dream he was having. She heard him say Relic when he woke up, though what did he do in his dream? Enough to make him angry, that much was obvious. Yuu leaned over and held a plate over to him. "The manager came over and gave us breakfast. I already ate mine, here's yours. It's still warm." She said and put the plate beside him.
He picked up the hot cake and folded it shoving it in his mouth pushing the plate away, only scambled eggs were left, "gross..." He stood up and got dressed examining his empty coin pouch, it had been worth it. He opened the door and headed outside, still angry. If he could shift into a golden eagle they could fly there, and if he could become a horse they could at least travel faster. But no all he had available was gorilla which would hurt her to travel on, or elephant which would be slower then them just walking.
"He told me yesterday, just leave the door unlocked and the key on the table," he assured her as he waved at all the children who now had pets. "Take care of them ok!" The children cheered as Rams headed out of town. Some parents had been skeptical because they could see he was soulless, and soulless people were usually demons or dark wizards and witches. He showed them kindness and they respected him for it. "Come on Yuu," he said still a bit aggravated, "it's time to end this idiot."

Yuu took his plate, staked it on top of hers and set it on the side table. She left the inn with York as the children cheered when he came into vision. "Should I tell them your name when you become name?" She asked, teasing him slightly. Though she just wanted him to know that he'll have a lot of people who will like him when he becomes king. If he did all of this good, just out of the kindness of his heart....then she was positive that he would probably be one of the best kings this kingdom has ever had. Though she nodded at his last statement and smiled. "It's about time, but where is he hiding?" She asked and ran a hand through her hair. So many villages... what if they never found him.
(Can I join?) Werelight Shine was in the "background",as you see that she is literally is walking around the town while this is happening. She was with some wereponies at this time.
She didn't notice them.
She didn't notice them.
He touched his chest as they began to exit the village, "it's like I can feel my soul screaming to me." He hadn't wanted to say these painful words in front of the children. "Calling to me confused," York looked further down the road, "I can't explain it but I believe my soul is trying to tell me that it is at the Palace, my palace, so I have to try." It honestly didn't make any sense why Relic would be at the Far Horn Palace but it was no time to just guess, if this feeling inside if him really was a screaming soul he had to try. He had to trust his gut and go towards what he believed it, and as the second village faded into the back ground of their sights York felt like Relic was watching them, and that the giant knew he would have to face them in combat.
Yuu smiled and nodded. "Then let's go to the palace." She said and sighed as the children tilted their heads confused. Though if he thought his soul was calling out to them, they should go and check it out. They couldn't walk in circles for hours, and this was the only lead they had. Besides, if he wasn't there; at least they checked. But why the palace? What was there that Relic wanted? Well, they would have to find out. "Let's go before he decides to leave." She said as she patted his shoulder and began walking.
The emperor arrived back to meet with their new guest. The knight introduced him before leaving the room. "Relic?" Emperor Haru said, "I have heard rumors about how you can resurrect the dead, at a price." It was apparent that the Emperor had noticed the knights empty white eyes. But Haru was still confused at what Relic wanted, "so what, do you seek reward for helping one of our lower knights?" The Emperor tossed Relic a bag of coins, about ten Silvers inside. The bag hit his chest and fell to the floor. Relic shook his head, he had been traveling around the Far Horn for too long and wanted to move across sea.
The giant man with the jackal helmet opened his hand and push it towards his stomach. It slowly force itself in and soon Relic had created a gash in his own abdomen. He reached his whole hand inside as the wound oozed a black, ink like substance. But after almost a minute he withdrew the hand holding a small white smoking orb. It was a soul, but a lot smaller then it had been when it was taken. The wound healed itself with in the next few minutes as Relic held out the orb. Images of Ramsley walking with someone could be seen inside of it.
"My sons soul?" The Emperor smiled as he sat up in his chair, "are you offering me a trade?" Relic nodded, and Haru stood, "let's discuss this over dinner, but I am very much interested." An evil smile appeared on the mans face, "you can make yourself comfortable as I prepare the arrangements for the trade. A servant brought over a small box for Relic to keep the soul in and the two parted ways. By sunset they would make a deal.

Yuu walked through the forest, tugging York along by his arm. "Hurry, if we continue to walk; we'll be there by sunset." She said and smiled. Soon, they will be able to see if they could get their souls back. Though it would be more then a battle. There was also demons that York had to deal with there. He wouldn't tell her what he hated about the palace, but once they get there it would be shown. Though something couldn't escape her mind as they got closer. "York... what will happen if we lose, he's strong." She said, remembering when Relic back handed her. Yuu often got into fights because of her bad attitude, but nothing was as painful as that one hit. Could they actually beat Relic? She didn't want to lose hope, but she couldn't ignore her thoughts.
"I've told you like ten times," York laughed a bit, "if we hurry we can get for Forkfield by sunset!" Forkfield marked the inner circle of the Far Horn, all roads towards the palace had to go threw there before they got to onto Rhyno Road. The single road threw the mountains to the Strong hold city, capital of the Far Horn and location of the palace. They were basically running along the path but to no avail. The Rhyno Road alone was a three day walk.
A town gleamed in the distance, but it had no name. It was a military base that people and mystics alike had formed a small town around. "Fargarden is the name of the capital," York told Yuu, "even if we sprint all the way there, it'll still be about four days... Maybe five." The Fort was full of Flags so it was known as just that, the Flag Fort. Hopefully they didn't get too much attention brought on them or they might get captured.
"Keep a low profile," Rams warned, "if they capture us here, me being who I am..." He stopped and a big smile spread across his face, "they'll most likely take us straight to Fargarden!" This was the best plan he could see, attack the Flag Fort and get captured. This would be fun!

Yuu laughed along with him and rubbed the back of her head embarrassed. She keeps pushing him along to hurry, but he was the who told her repeatedly that it would take days to reach the palace. She stopped tugging him and crossed her arms as she walked beside him. "That's a good plan, they'll most likely take you by horse and that'll make you get there faster. I'll make sure to follow close behind." She told him and patted his shoulder. It made sense that they would want him, but probably not her. There was no point, but there was still a possibility. She wouldn't admit it, but she wasn't sure how she would follow. She would have buy a horse with the last of her money. Then she'll be able to follow and keep up. "Do you think the King will be angry at you?" She asked, as they approached the fort.
"I don't really give a damn one way or another," and he didn't. Haru could suck a scorpion tail for all he cared. This was the real only way to get them there quickly that Rams could see. Even by horse they'd make it by almost sunrise the next day. But carriages they may make it by noon if they were lucky. As he approached he gave her a nod to show her he was ready to go. If she tried to by a horse after he started to attack then that wouldn't work out to well. "There is a tax of about four or five Silvers at Forkfield, so by your steed in thought of that." He watched her walk away and when she was to return he would begin his attack as she escaped forward! Heading straight towards the lions den.
Yuu laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of her head. That meant the King was his problem with palace. "Alright, thanks." She said and sighed. She wasn't looking forward to riding a horse for a long time, but she would have to live with it. "Good luck, see you then." She said and waved off. Hopefully he wouldn't cause too much of a mess. She bought a house and let it eat and drink before she got on it. She came back to York and smiled. "Goodbye, good luck." She said again as she rode off on the horse. She couldn't really see York doing anything violent because ....well.... He was kind of peaceful. But you could tell that he wanted to get to the castle, so she knew that the destruction would have to be big.
Five minute, five minutes of a gorilla tearing out flag posts and throwing guards around got him finally captured when his time ran out. Almost every wall in the fort hand a hole or two in it the size of an ape fist! But now he was in a cartage strapped in with handcuff and being escorted back to Fargarden. It was almost time, almost time for him to be reunited with his soul once more. But he did hope he got to Relic before his father did.
If Haru met Relic first then he may give his soul to his dad, if that happened Rams would be doomed. The Emperor had been trying to poison, drown, ship him off for so long now it wasn't funny. He wanted his good for nothing son dead and if that happened he would get to keep the thrown until he died. In the Far Horn the Emperor only rules until his offspring is 18, then that man takes the thrown. And York being sixteen the Emperor would do anything to kill him.
Unfortunately for him murder was in fact illegal but with his hands on his sons soul it would be easy to end Rams once and for all!

Yuu soon heard a carriage in motion not long after she went off. She sighed and shook her head. She didn't know what he did to get arrested that quickly, but he did a good job. Though she couldn't get her mind off of why he hated his father. She could just tell in the tone of his voice. What did the King do? York was a pretty kind guy, so she really wondered what the King did. It must've been much, to make it that bad. She would figure it out soon enough. Though right now, she just had to concentrate on getting to the palace as soon as she could. Relic was there so he was definitely planning something. What in the world was he going to do. Whatever it was, it was going to be insane. It was going to be horrible. Though mostly, it was going to put more lives in danger. After a few hours, the sun was down. The moon was now clearly visible in the sky and Yuu finally made it to the castle after paying that horrid fee. She quickly hid and waited for York to come so she could follow him into the palace.
The cartage was metal and bumpy, four guards had to escort it threw Forfield and through the rhino road. All he could think about was his father and Relic. Who was really the bigger villain? If Relic was consuming soul like food and they were digested as such maybe he needed them to live. Just a demonic craving that left him hated by everyone he fed from. He didn't kill people to eat, and he didn't cause them much pain from it either just emptiness. It was true he needed his soul back but was Relic really to blame? It was just the circle of life.
Yuu sighed as she looked up at the palace. She was in need of a well deserved rest, but she needed to get her soul back from Relic. She also wanted to help York get his soul back, and she knew that if the King was the reason of his pain, she would beat the King half to death. She didn't care about punishment, she knew she would end up doing it. Soon enough, she saw the carriage holding York inside ride along. She quickly hurried around the corner and looked around. How could she get inside?... she saw an open window and looked inside before climbing in. Now all she had to do was follow the guards and York to figure out where the King and Relic was. Soon enough, she found where the guards were bringing in York and soon began to follow them quietly.
Rams was placed in a cell for a bit, the rumor was that the Emperor was actually here. At the actual palace, but that was so odd. See the Emperor left three years ago to try and establish treaties of war with the lands west of the Castle Lands. He had been gone ever since York was thirteen and he still order the guards to abuse him and other such things while he had been gone. But back at last? Rams would have to see his father for the first time in ages, relive the abusive memories all over again.
Nightmares of Relic taking off his helmet to reveal a demon worse then ever could be imagined was stirring his mind. But he was startlingly awakened by a person with no eyes himself being thrown into the cell. It was the soulless knight, "what are you doing her?" The soulless knight opened his mouth and his tongue had been cut out. "Were you at Mograw?" The knight nodded, why was he in here?
He looked outside, it was almost noon. Why hadn't anyone come to get him? Where was his father?? And what had the soulless knight done to have his tongue cut out and be thrown in jail??? Or what did the soulless knight know to have deserved what was done to him???? So many questions and they would all be answered before sunset.
