In the Blade Lands there is a mountain far to the southwest. It has a temple that a great Mage King had locked himself in when his armies had been defeated. The Mage could manipulate water, ice, and blood. But his most powerful skill was his art. Anything he drew would come to life. It was said Relic was no demon spawn, but the jackal helmet was the first master piece the Mage had ever done.
It would silence who ever wore it, but it granted them immortality as long as they collected souls. The Mage King's name was Usowle, and years of eating rats and drinking ink drove him mad and eventually killed him. But his helmet sat in the cave and legend says it manifested into what is now Relic.
The helmeted man had had a head ache ever since they had arrived at the palace. It was something about this place that was tormenting him. He slowly removed the metal a top his head and memories, throats and demons of the figures past flooded his mind. He had to speak to the king right away, it was urgent!

Yuu followed the knights and York all the way until they had him locked up. Yuu saw the knights now heading back and she immediately started to panic. She thought that they would send him to see the Emperor and Relic. So she followed them, but they were now heading back. She needed to hide so that she could get to York. She saw a room and instantly entered, saw it was empty, and hid there. She waited until the footsteps got softer until they eventually vanished to relax. She looked around the room and saw it was some kind of old room. She looked around for... well... anything that was actually useful. She found a maids dress and smiled. She could go undercover as a servant! She quickly changed and hid her actual clothes under the bed. She put on a bonnet to hide her cat ears and smiled at her decision. Hopefully, she would be able to walk around undetected by others. She stepped out of the room, straightened her bonnet, and walked to your cell. "York, are you alright?" Yuu asked.
York turned away from the knight, "Yuu?" He looked over to the girl, if they found her she would be locked up here while he was meeting his father after three years all alone. "Get out of here!" He whispered to her, "find your way into the palace!" He had no idea how long it would take for The two of them to meet his father, as well as he had no idea if Relic would still even be here. "Please we will meet up later!" And he shooed the girl away going back to starring at the soulless knight.
Yuu hesitated, but nodded. He would have to fill her in on the details with the Knight later. Right now, she knew that he really wanted her to go. "A-alright... but don't do anything stupid." She said with a small smile and wave. "I'll try to figure out where it is and wait for you there." She said and nodded before walking off. "Be careful!" She called as she left. She sighed, took one last look at her 'outfit' and began to walk around. She kept her head low so no one could see her eyes and tried to look around for where it might be. Though she couldn't help but get tense and doubt that she would ever even find it. She wouldn't be able to find anything here.... it was like a maze you were randomly dropped into. She sighed and bit her lip, either way, she knew she would have to find it sooner or later. She for York's sake, it would have to be sooner.
The Emperor had called for Ramsley, but by the time the guards had gotten to the boys cell he had collapsed. Barely conscious he was grasping at his chest, where ever his soul was it was in pain. The boy was dragged through the streets and eventually into the palace. Up the palace steps and dropped in front of the thrown. But it was empty, two knights held spears to the boy as a servant was ordered to take the cuff off him. 'You there, servant in the bonnet take those off!' She was the only one around, and that was weird what had happened here? Or what was about to happen here??
Yuu didn't know how she did it, but she did it. She watched as they dragged York in and how much he was in pain. She had to bite her lip hard to keep emotion off of her face. Those guards were lucky that she was trying hard to stay undercover... but why was she the only servant here. That wasn't comforting. She bowed to the knight and took the cuffs off of York. He was in so much pain it hurt just to look at him. She stood back up quietly and took a step back. She knew that he didn't want her killing these two guards immediately. That might ruin everything.
Slowly relic walked out of a room holding a box, he growled and gestured to the girl with his head. York was still wailing on the floor so one knight stepped away from him and pointed his spear at the girl! The helmeted man stood next to the thrown gripping the box tightly as the knight yelled at the girl, 'you have seen too much!' He was minorly trembling, realizing that he himself may too have seen to much. But all the knight knew was that the Emperor told them to obey this mysterious figure. 'You have been sentenced to having your tongue removed and locked in prison until the day you die!'
There was a half scoff from underneath Relic's helmet, but he wasn't looking at Yuu. His eyes were locked on York, laying on the floor, writhing in pain. 'If you do not comply,' the knight continued, 'or attempt to flee you will be put to death on sight!' Relic's look shot to her and he tilted his head slightly as if her soul was calling to her too, and he could feel it happening from inside of him.

Yuu widened her eyes at York as she saw how much pain he was in. She saw Relic and clenched her fists together tightly. She heard the knight tell her what was going to happen and hesitated slightly. Well..... apparently she was going to be punished one way or another here. She decided to deal with the guard first, maybe he would back off. "I don't care. Besides, I had no intention of fleeing anyway." She said, even though she did slightly. She now wanted to help York. He was in so much pain that she couldn't leave him like this. She knew well that her soul was with Relic. It was calling to her, it was so close.... but she could get it later. Maybe.... probably not if she got thrown in jail. "Why are you torturing York?" She asked Relic. She walked closer to him. "Where is his soul!?"
Behind Relic was a stained glass window, and Relic growled holding up the box. This was definitely the same girl from before, what a regretful turn of events. He shook the box a bit and York yelped in pain, but the guard took this chance to advance on the girl! Thrusting his spear towards her, 'stupid harlot!' Relic let out a loud roar and the glass behind him shattered! As it I'd so he took a seat on the throne and casually tossed the soul box out behind him.
Yuu widened her eyes after hearing York yell in pain. "No stop!" She yelled and heard the guard yell something. Well... it wasn't something good she knew that. She quickly turned and saw the knight strike his spear at her. She had to act quick! Though hearing Relic roar made them both hesitate. She covered her ears at how loud it was and saw the stained glass window break. She saw him throw the box behind him and quickly ran after it. She could save York by giving him back his soul. Then they could both get her soul back from Relic!
York was in so much pain it wasn't funny. It was like the box was filled with leeches and they had each attached themselves to his poor soul. His adrenaline poured into his heart as he watched the box get thrown out the window. The boy struggled to get up and the guard attempted to stop him as he took off in a full on sprint towards the open window leaping out it and plummeting downward towards his doom! The guard grabbed Yuu throwing her backwards against a wall!
Yuu quickly ran after York. What was he doing!? He could kill himself! Though instantly she felt someone grab her and throw her against the wall. She felt the wind get knocked out of her as she glared up at the guard. She took out her small knife and ran at the knight. Implanting the knife in his shoulder and pushing him away. "That was a warning! Now stay out of my way." She said, she needed to get to York as soon as possible. He could be dead at the ground for all she knew. Well, she didn't care if she had to get through a few people to save him.
Relic watched as the small knife slipped threw two pieces of the mans armor. He stumbled backwards as the other knight whacked the girl in the back of her head causing the knife to slide across the floor. The spear spun as he ran at the girl. As for the wounded knight Relic had taken his spear and growled as he ran the fallen knights chest killing him. The knight was useless if he had let a stupid maid girl cut him so badly, especially with knights armor. Relic sat down on the throne, but where was the Emperor? And what had happened to Ramsley??
Falling through the air, plummeting downward. "Don't do it York," he whispered to himself, "don't transform... Not yet..." He fell faster and approached the stone slab ground that was laid all around the palace. Despite the current situation it was a beautiful day, not too chilly of a fall. So as falling to your death went this was quite a pleasant one, excusing the fact he was about to die of course. The box hadn't reached the ground yet either so pushing threw the pain Rams straightened his body and began to pick up speed!
The box drew nearer and nearer, "almost!" He yelled as the pain spiked from within him. He clenched his fist as the box approached. And when he saw it push towards his face he brought his two fists together! The force of the fists, the transformation and the soul exploding back into Yorkshire body broke the box and cause the leeches to burn up instantly! An explosion on falcon feathers could be scene as everything slammed on the ground all at once, but the falcon had pulled up at the last second with such force that he spiraled upward. "Time to kick some Relic butt!"

Yuu felt something hit the back of her head as her knife flew out of her hand. She rubbed the back of her head in pain and glared at the Knight. "I always promised myself... that I would try not to kill to many people...." She said as she grabbed his spear. "But it's almost like you are asking for me to give you a special pass!" She yelled as she yanked the spear away from him and stabbed him through the chest. She took the spear out of her knights chest and faced Relic. She would deal with him later. She ran towards the window and looked down. York..... he wasn't there? "Yoooorrrkkk!" She called. Hoping for a reaction. Maybe he fell and people dragged him away... maybe he fell into a hay stack. Did he get his soul? Where was he?....
A spear pushed threw her back, quick and swift all in one motion. Time slowed down and Relic watched as she fell over just next to the giant open window. Slowly he pulled the spear out as the spear in her hand rolled across the floor. The metal tip exited her body and Relic gripped the spear with both hands bringing it down again into her back once more! Blood squirted out as a the other knight fidgeted on the floor dying from the girls attack. Relic twisted the spear inside of the neko and she was dead, but he wasn't done with her yet.
He pulled the spear out tossing it out the window to eventually smash to bits on the ground. He knelt down next to her and poured sand on her wound and howled. The girls life was brought back all at once, but as this happened he grabbed the knife she had dropped and raised it above her. One death wasn't enough this would be it. But just then a falcon flew into the room snatching the dagger from Relic and he growled.

Yuu almost reached the window when she felt something go through her back. She felt intense heat and pain course through her body as she looked down and saw the tip of the spear poke out and it was surrounded by blood. She fell to the ground, tensing up in pain. She tried to pull herself together, but she felt Relic pull the spear out and push it back inside of her. It made her cry out in pain and then go silent. She was now dead. Though almost instantly, she felt herself come back. She looked up at Relic as she saw him raise her knife, she quickly closed her eyes. She waited for her next death, but she heard a bird come. That's when she opened her eyes and saw a bird fly off with her knife. She quickly used this as a chance to reach for her spear and she used it as an attempt to stab Relic in the chest so she could hurry away. She saw that she only stabbed him through the shoulder. She used this as an attempt to get distance anyways and quickly hurried away.
The falcon exploded into a burst of feathers, York then appeared inside the fluttering rain. "Give her soul back!" He yelled as Yuu appeared next to him, he hugged her keeping his eye on Relic. He examined her quickly seeing that she was actually ok despite just dying. He was feeling great and was ready to kill Relic, if that was even possible. Relic pulled the spear out of his arm and York flinched as the wound healed. But in the back of his mind all he heard was the soulless knight whispering, 'erc e ra ero.' What did it mean and what was the speechless man trying to say?
Yuu couldn't believe that she actually made it away from Relic. She hurried beside York and was surprised when he hugged her suddenly. She smiled and hugged him back happily. "It's good to see you didn't plummet to your death. I'm assuming you got your soul?" She asked. When she let go she looked over at Relic and watched as his wound healed itself. Not only did that make her skin crawl, but how were they supposed to fight someone who can heal himself. She looked over at the soulless knight as he began to speak gibberish. What was he trying to say? Though she couldn't risk to keep her eyes off of Relic. She quickly picked up a nearby spear and aimed it at Relic.
((OCC: Soulless knight was a memory, he's not there.))
York still had a bit of time before he could do another transformation but he had so many questions, "why are you even here? And where is my father??" These were the first two question and the most important ones. As of this moment he assumed Relic may have murdered the Emperor, which wasn't all that bad. But with his tendency to redirect people it would be a smart idea to get him out of here. York felt that it had been nearly a minute, soon he could transform and work on finding a way to kill this bastard. So many unanswered questions...
