A while back I released an experiment; A sci-fi RP about a futuristic world with aliens, spaceships, and other really cool stuff that is cool.
It worked pretty well, so I'm happy to present...
I drew that logo myself! It's pretty darn cool! Okay, so I didn't draw it ALL myself; The planet is actually just Mars upside-down with the colors inverted. But still!
Anyway, Serik is a big RPG (Each of the planets has a separate forum section) but once you get into it, the story will move quickly.
By the way, sometime in the future, if this takes off well, I will need another GM
Anyway, here is a quick summery:

Quote:
Name: Serik RPG
Genre: Sci Fi/Space Opera
Tech: High, but not ultimate. No robots or AI, but we have aliens, high tech weapons, and fairly ubiquitous space travel.
Magic: Nopenopenope. Although species can have special abilities, they have to have some kind of science backing it up.
Combat: As much or as little as the players push. We can sit around and chat, or shoot people, it's your choice.
World size: Pretty darn big. There are thirteen main planets, plus a few misc. colony planets. Each one has its own lore, but players only need to be worried about conditions on the planet they're currently playing on. Player with spaceships might find the world imposingly large at first, but when it gets going it will hopefully flow well.

First off...Nice banner. How long did it take you?
Second thing is...what about cyborgs? (I ask because you said no robots or AI)

As for cyborgs, that depends on what you mean by cyborgs. We have advanced prosthetics, like replacement arms, hearts, etc. However, after a labor union revolt, severe restrictions were put on robot development, and brain-computer interfaces haven't been developed, though more out of moral than technological restrictions.
But if you have your heart set on a robot or cyborg charrie, that should be fine. The RP hasn't exactly started yet, so nothing is canon. In fact, the only reason there are no robots is because this world is based off of a book I'm writing, and I was already done planning the plot before I bothered to think about how to fit robotics in.
Edit: I took a look at your charrie, and that is a lot of robotic parts! There's two routes we could go with this; Either your character's implants are illegal and top secret, or we change the world to allow the extent of modification she has. Whichever one you'd prefer. (I speak from experience when I say that playing an illegal medical military experiment could be cool)
It was that easy? o.o I mainly use gimp for photo conversion xD
On effect of the rp, which way would you rather swing? I can do either one. Though the illegal military experiment is fun *has her share of experience with it too*

Whatever you prefer. Go ahead and post a short charrie sheet here. This is just so I know how things stand with your character at the start of the story.
