"Make a difference on the microphone huh?" He asked, "that would be a cool idea" he said to her. He looked up at the sky again, "finish trying to learn to play the piano" he said "-and maybe live, I don't know, a normal life" he said. He did say logical or not.
She laughed slightly. "Normal is boring," she said, looking out at the stars.
"Says the one who does live normally" he said to her, looking down. He couldn't do that. He could never live normal, he wasent even normal himself,
"Exactly." She said grimly, glancing down at her hands.
"Atleast you can live normal" he said. He couldn't.
"It's not exactly fun..." she mumbled. Living a plain, normal life was never appealing to her
He sighed quietly in surrender. "At least one normal day would be nice. It would be a nice change" he said.
"What do you consider a normal day?" She asked.
"I don't know, be able to live a day, like everyone else" he said to her. Do all the things he couldnt do.
"What about today?" She asked, looking over at him, "Today seemed fun and normal, for most people..."
He blinked. That hadnt occurred to him. Today was almost normal, aside from the drinking blood, and avoiding sunshine. "Almost, normal" he said to her, "but it was good enough for me" he said.
She smiled slightly, and looked out at the lake again. Today was good.
He looked at the glistening water of the lake, today wasent good. Today, was great!
She looked over at him, grinning. "How did you win the Wolf again?" She asked, tossing the bear at him.
He caught the wolf, so it wouldn't fall in the lake or anything. He looked down it, "usually there is a certain pattern of movement you have to go by with the crane to win those things. So I tried it and won. Its human nature to go straight for the prize drop, but if you do, it will drop the prize" he said to her.
"You make things so complicated. But, it's working for you, apparently." She laughed, looking out at the water again. She moon shone down on it, and she was looking at her reflection.
"I dont make everything complicated" he said to her with a smile. If she noticed, even in the water, Draik didnt seem to have much of a reflection, it kept disappearing, and faintly coming back, then disappearing. Like the light on a dying lightbulb.
Rose looked away from her own reflection, pushing away some.... negative thoughts. Looking at the water, she saw something that at first startled her. Draik's reflection was like a flickering light in the water. "Why does your reflection do that?" She asked.
It was a if he were barely there, and the reflection just couldn't comprehend. It appeared like a normal reflection, just , weaker, and less strong in color. It faded to nothing, then came back to a faint reflection. He looked down at his own reflection, "that, I honestly don't know."
She watched his reflection flicker, and appear. She just sat there, watching.
