"They are" he said to her, trying to assure her they were even if hr had no ides rather or not they truly were,
She looked down for a moment, then back at him. "Well, Dad would bug me until I agreed with him, in a situation like this," she laughed, memories clearly playing through her head.
Draik chuckled alittle, "sounds like my uncle. Bug you have to death until you agree with him, unless he knows he's wrong" Draik said.
She laughed. "After a day straight of listening to my Dad whining and poking me, it's hard not to give in."
"My uncle doesn't use the poking method, but he will talk none stop" Draik said to her, starting to release her from his hug.
She smiled at him a bit. "I think the poking method is more effective." She said, ignoring the tinge of.. something as he released her. "Poking hurts after a while."
"Now I'm even more glsd that he doesn't use the poking method" he said to her with a soft laugh. "Though I do remember the time he locked me outside, and would walk past the window and would repeat his previous words..I guess that was his 'poking' version"
"Once, my Dad and I got into an argument about soccer teams and who would win. The team that I betted on lost, so he followed me around all day mocking me," she said with a laugh.
"One time, when I was very little, I think it was my, well, let's just say 6th, birthday. Me and my uncle got in a fuss about which was better, chocolate stuff, or vanilla flavored stuff. And aaaaaallllll day long he would walk past me and say "chocolate" no matter what."
(I literally read all of that^ in Pavel Chekov's Russian accent )
"Vanilla is better," she mumbled. "When I was little, my Dad and I were watching that movie, Finding Nemo, and we argued about whether fish were friends or food. He said, food and I said friends. He tickled me for five minutes straight and I gave up. We had fish for dinner that night." She said, once again laughing at the memory.

( oh dear God)
He laughed a little at that, "oh us and our guardians" he said. Both her dad and his uncle were almost the same, on some things. "This is more along the lines of vampires, but one time me and my uncle went on for two days about which was better. O- type blood, or o+" he said and rolled his eyes, "that one in a way was one of the stupidest ones.." he said.

(I knew I saw Draik as someone, and it hit me, the Fluffy little Russian from Star Trek who's common quote is "I can do zat!" )
"I wouldn't know which is better for that one. Once I beat my dad at a game of chess and he sat, staring at the board for an hour in shock, then followed me around demanding a rematch." She said, happiness in her tone. She realized that talking like this made her feel better.

( I can do zat)
"I didn't expect you would" he said. Upon hearing this story he laughed, "my uncles done that exact same thing to be before. Exactly" he said looking at her. Though it was odd how he just kept mentioning his uncle, not his dad on anything.

She laughed slightly at the similarities between her Dad and his uncle. She actually didn't notice that he hadn't brought up his Dad, or Mom for that matter. She looked over at him. "See, some things you have are normal! But, like I said, normal can be boring." She piped up.
"I guess your right" he said, maybe he was a teeny bit normal. More then he thought he was. He had some normal things. "Normal may not be fun, but its a change."
She looked over at him, thinking. "Do you know what time it is?" She asked him, thoughtfully.
He pulled up the sleeve of his hoodie, looking down at the time, "11:57" he said looking down at his watch which was the colors of white and black.
She nodded. They had been hanging out for a while.
(I'm finally typing Draik up a more, accurate past. *winging it*)
Draik pulled his sleeve back down over his pale arm. They had been here for hours.

(You go girl! )
Rose looks over at him. "Any bright ideas of places to go?" She asked him, glancing at the pale boy.
