He began to walk again, he was exiting the shade and he pulled his hood up again, and walked until he had left her yard. He began to walk along the sidewalk, at least today was a lightly breezy day, it was quite nice.
She walked beside him, her hands in her hoodie pocket. "You get much sleep last night?" She asked with a small laugh.
"I guess it was enough" he said to her, then looked at her, "how about you? Did you get much sleep?" He asked her with a tilted head.
"I passed out a few minuted after I got home. So, I guess so," she replied, reviewing what happened last night in her head.
"I watched TV a bit before I went to bed.." he said to her, " and I saw a trailer of a vampire movie that's coming out" he sighed, "people make us look so idiotic," he said in bitterness.
"Have you seen Twilight? They make the vampires sparkle." She said with a laugh. She'd always liked through werewolves in the movie better becaude they made the vampires look so stupid.
"No.." he said and looked at her. When she mentioned that the vampires in that movie sparkled, he looked away. "Somebody stake me in the chest and kill me now..." he muttered.
"Killing you would be weird. Do you like burst into flames or disappear or just die?" She asked, thinking of all the vampire movies she's seen.
"Die, then disintegrate into nothingness, no ashes, no remains," he said to her. "At least..that's what my uncle said happened to.....never mind" he said leaving off on that last part.
"What?" She asked, looking over at him. She didn't know what he was implying, and didn't think further into it.
"They die, then disintegrate into nothingness. Leaving behind no ashes, and no remains" he said not explaining himself for his little slip.
She looked at him curiously, but let him slide with it.
It was a great mystery to who he was reffering to. Who had died.. He looked around a little as they walked. Now being silent.
She walked silently beside him, not bringing it up. "For a really old guy, you look young," she said, out of the blue.
"I'm immortal" he said plainly to her. That was why he appeared so young. He would probably appear like this for many many many years to come.
"What age would you say You're... stopped at?" She asked. She didn't really know how else to put it. She looked at him, then back down at the sidewalk.
"People believe I look about 17 or 18" he sfaid simply to her.
She laughed. "To humans then, you'd be younger than me," she teased, smiling and looking at the sidewalk.
He laughed a little, "I guess so" he said to her. But in reality, he was much older then her. He would probably still be here when her children's great great great great great grandchildren were dead.
(What a way to brighten the mood with that last sentence )
"So, where are we going exactly?" She asked, looking up at the sky. It was sort of cloudy out. She hoped for rain, she'd always loved it.
