Draik sighed, a thoughtful sigh. "There are many species that appear human, but aren't. They won't be able to tell that easily" he assured her. "--and I don't know what they would do"

She sighed, deciding to trust him and stay quiet, let him do what he needed to.

He looked at her and smiled softly, "don't worry, if they somehow find out, I'll bail you out" he assured her.

She returned his smile, subtly though. She was counting on that.

He looked ahead and led her to the store, but it looked like an old abandoned library, one nobody was ever willing to tear down, "just go with it" he said to her, and walked up the front steps, ajd lifted the doorbell up, beneath was a hidden button, which he pushed which unlocked the doors, and he walked inside. There was a room to the right a little ways inside, and he opened that door, and it looked like an empty closet, but he knelt down, and lightly knocked on the floor 4 times, and there was a click, and lifted up a square piece of the floor, a secret passage. "They've been thinking about relocating this place, but have yet to find a good hidden place," he said. He gestured her to go, "ladies first" he said, it was just stairs lit by candles on the walls on the way down.

Rose hesitantly looked up into the boy's eyes before hesitantly stepping down and putting an emotionless mask on her face and avoiding eye contact, something she did well, hiding emotions. She wouldn't want her nervousness showing.

He followed her down, concealing the floor back before following her down the stairs, "act natural" he said looking at her. "Emotionless makes you appear like your hiding something. Don't worry, I'm here if something happens. Just don't touch anything" he said to her. Once at the bottom of the stairs, there was one last door, and he opened it, and let her go first, before following. It was a candle lit room filled with shelf upon shelf of stuff she could never even imagine.

She bit back a sigh and acted normal, looking around. All of the objects around the room was things she had never seen and had no idea what they were.

When the man at the counter noticed Draik he smiled. "Ah! Vladimirs nephew!" The man greeted Draik, "its been awhile Draiken! How have you been?" He asked. Draik smiled at the man as if the two were well aquanted. "Indeed, it has been awhile, but I've been good. How about you Dmitri?" He asked the man, "I've been wonderful!" The man said. "So, what might your uncle need today Draiken?" The man asked him, and Draik walked over to a man at a counter, and pulled out his uncles list before handing it to the man, the man skimmed over the list, and shook his head, "Vladimir and always picking complicated items" he said quietly, before going to into the maze of shelves to go find the stuff. Draik went back to Rose, and looked at her, "now we wait..and we can go" he said.

Rose had been smiling slightly at the exchange between the two, and she looked up at him after hearing his words. "Okay" she replied, watching the man fumble around for whatever items were on that list.

"The last time I visited here was about 76 or 100 years ago" he said to Rose as he watched Dmitri search through items. "So Draiken, whose's your friend?" He asked not looking at the two. Dmitri wasent a vampire, he was a demon in disquise, but Rose didn't need to know that. "Ah, this is Rose. She's my best friend" he said to Dmitri. So Draik believed her to be a best friend. "Oh? What a lovely thing..they say friendship is a strong thing" he said to Draiken.

She smiled slightly, wondering if this was part of the act or if he meant what he thought of her. She watched the man, she took a mental note not to mess with this one, he was creepy.

Draik watched as the man Dmitri, gathered the things his uncle needed. Draik looked around, "the place isn't very busy today, is it?" He asked Dmitri form simple conversation. "It always gets busier later in the day" Dmitri reminded Draiken, then walked over to the counter, he had gathered everything. Draik walked over to the counter, payed for the stuff, Dmitri but the things in a bag as if not to gather a lot of strange glares from people. "Thank you.." Draik said to Dmitri and began to walk away. "Come agwin soon Draiken, tell your uncle I said hello!" Dmitri said to Draik before going and attending to another customer. Draik walked over to Rose and smiled, "now we go" he said.

She smiled at him, glad to be leaving safely. The place was creeping her out, nonetheless, she stayed calm. She found the Dmitri guy a bit unnervingly creepy.

Draik opened the door, and this time he went first, leaving her to close the door behind them. He led them out of that place, and out Ito he library.

"So I assume you have to go?" She said, gesturing to the things he was carrying, assuming that he would have to go take the things he bought home.

"I suppose so.." he said as he began to walk over to the door once everything as left as it had been. "Why do you ask?" He asks and looks at her.

"I was just wondering...' she replied. She didn't want to leave quite yet, she enjoyed being around him. But she wasn't going to stop him from leaving.

He looked down a little, then an idea came to mind, and he looked back at her, "want to come over to my house?" He asks her. He never had a friend over before..

She thought for a moment. "Sure," she replied with a smile. "Wait, but won't your uncle know I'm human?"
