"Why are you sorry?" He asked, confused,

"I know I don't like talking about my Dad, it hurts, and you've probably been without yours for so long... I don't know..." she replied, not looking at him.

"I never got to personally meet my parents" he said simply, "dad died before i was born, and mom died when i was just a baby. The only thing I have is a picture that belonged to my uncle" he said. "But in your case its worse" he said.

"It's okay, I'm sorry," she said,.looking over at him.

Draik looked down, causing Joel to die in the game. Game over for him. "I'm sorry to."

She looked over at Draik, concern in her blue eyes. She reached out and grabbed his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze and a sad smile.

He felt her grab his hand, and he looked at her with his turquoise eyes. The turquoise eyes that he inherited from his father. He smiled faintly at her, and looked away and looked down. Sad, and thoughtful.

"Don't be sorry," she said after a moment, "It's okay, really."

"Can't help it" He said. Feeling sympathy wasent an emotion that one could sustain,

She sighed and moved over to hug him. She didn't want him to feel bad.

His eyes looked back over at her. He didn't expect she'd hug him.

She hugged him for a bit, burying her face in his shoulder for a moment.

Draik looked down at her, quietly.

(The irony though)
She looked back up at him, looking straight into his eyes. "Don't be upset. It's okay, I promise."

(So much irony.)

After a moment of silence, he said "no promises." Meaning he'd at least try not to be upset.

She sighed. "Why didn't you attack me? In the alley, I mean." She asked, that had been bothering her for a while now.

"Why do you ask all of a sudden?" He asked curiously.

"It's just been bothering me," she replied, and backed up a bit in realization that she was still hugging him.

He went silent, why hadn't he attacked her? ..He was pondering that himself now.

She looked down at her hands, the thought of him hurting her, after all this, it kinda hurt.
