"Do I have to say?" He asked her.

"Please?" She replied softly, looking down at her fingers.

He was quiet, but he had a question, "I will answer your question if you answer me this. Why havent you told anyone about me.? " he asked..not many people would keep their mouths shut about that.

"It's not mine to tell. And I don't fancy hurting you," she relied, looking him in the eyes.

"Ah.." he said quietly. "Now as promised, your answer" he said as he lightly messed with the joystick of his game controller. "I don't like hurting people. But sadly I have to. That child I left in the alley, I had asked her where she lived, so I could take her home after I was done. I'm not heartless, i wouldn't leave somebody for death if I could help it. So when I saw you, the reason I ran is cause I feared you'd get the town to come kill me, like the townspeople did to my dad. But the reason I didn't attack you, is like I said, I don't like to hurt people. That And as time progressed we became friends, giving me all the more reason not to hurt you..." he said.

"I'm sorry. And thank you, for not hurting me," she said. She wanted to hug him again, she was glad he was such a nice person, but she didn't.

He looked down "no problem" he said quietly. "Though, why havent you left me..most people would desert me seeing to them I'm nothing more then a 'bloodthirsty monster spawned by the devil'" he asked using a title people actually used in reference to vampires.

She looked down, contemplating. "You are not a monster. You're my friend, and I care about you," she replied without hesitation, looking up to meeting his eyes.

A small smile appeared on his lips, and surprisingly, he hugged her. "Thank you" he said. She was different. She wasent like everyone else. She was like Sebastian, his only friend that accepted him for him despite what he was truly.

She laughed and hugged him back. "No problem."

He hugged her happily, though in a way, he was a little surprised when she hugged him back.

(What does Draik smell like? Wait, lemme guess... roses?)
She was happy. Like, really happy. She had a real friend.

(That makes it sound like he wears perfume... . He likes them. He's not obsessed with them. )
(Um. I don't know. Something nice smelling?..)

Draik was happy. Though he had a question as he hugged her, "will we be friends forever?" He asked her. Or at least friends until one of their demises.

"Yes. Friends, forever." She replied with a small laugh.

He smiled, and laughed to, friends forever!

She hugged him a little tighter, liking the way he smelled, and just liking being hugged in the first place.

He hugged her tighter to, but not to tight.

She was literally screaming with joy on the inside. She finally had a friend. She pulled away a bit, to look at him.

He loosed his hug a little when she started to pull back a little. He looked at her, noticing she was looking at him.

She smiled a little, looking down a bit. She never would have thought she'd make a friend like this.
