"I don't know if I can trust you" he said and looked away. She was slowly breaking him.
"You can. I promise. I just have to know, after what happened that night."
She took a step closer to him, watching him. He looked scared, weak. She didn't think, if he was what she assumed, that he could show emotion like this.

He shook his head slightly, "i-i have to go" he said and began to run off. He wouldn't say. He didn't want to say. Nothing good ever came from revealing to people your a vampire..
"Wait!" She called, and ran after him. Though, she soon discovered she wasn't fast or graceful enough. She tripped over roots, scraping her hands as she fell. She stood up and dusted herself off, ignoring her stinging hands. She looked around, and realized he had led her off the path. She had no sense of direction, and wasn't even close to her original place. "Uh oh," she mumbled shakily.
The boy ran and ran, running away from fate. At one point he dropped his notebook, but didn't turn back for it, he didn't her catching him, there wasent much in it, just drawings and poetry. He could live without it,
She wandered around, shivering badly from the late autumn temperature. She zipped her hoodie up and pulled the hood over her head, and kept stumbling around, trying to find the path. As she was walking, she tripped over something. She looked down, and saw his notebook, the one he carried with him. Feeling guilty, she picked it up and held it close to her, shivering as she kept walking.
It was a typical school notebook which was the color green with his make written in the bottom tight corner of the cover. Draik Azvel Norvien.
The boy was far from his uncles, and the night was growing cold. He now trudged along the sidewalk. He looked down. He felt faint guilt, but he didn't know what could happen if he told her what he was.

She kept trudging through, and she finally found the correct edge of the woods after a while. She left it, and followed the road, silently, shivering badly. The weather really sucks at the moment. She decided that she had to start wearing a bigger jacket. She looked down at the green notebook in her hands, her eyes skimming over his name in the corner. She couldn't bring herself to read it, that's a complete invasion of privacy. She walked until she reached the alley, and the memory made her cringe.
The boy kept walking until he saw the alley he and drank the blood of that girl in. He was on the opposite side of the alley from The girl, and he tensed a little, seeing her on the other side. He looked closer, and she had his notebook. Well, at least everything was written in Russian.
Rose looked up, and saw him on the opposite side of the alley. She held out his notebook, and put it on the ground for him to pick up. She turned, and kept walking, tripping a few times.
Draik walked over to his notebook, and picked it up. His sleeves were covering his hands. Though instead of going back to where he was, he followed Rose.
Rose trudged along, tripping over her own feet every now and then. She refused to go home, no her brother is too chaotic. She stopped, and sat down on the edge of the sidewalk. It was only then that she realized Draik had followed her.
Draik sat down beside her on the sidewalk, "aren't you going to go home?" He asked her, "don't you know the streets are dangerous at night?" He asked her.
She scoffed. "H-home isnt any b-better."
She looked down at the pavement, shaking.
She looked down at the pavement, shaking.
He looked at her a moment before taking off his hoodie revealing a red shirt underneath that had a cool design on it, and offered her his hoodie. If she wasent going to go home, she might as well stay warm.
"Won't you b-be c-cold?" She asked, watching him hold his hoodie out for her. She didn't want to be the cause of him getting sick or something.
"I'll live. Just take it" he said laying it on her lap, and bringing his hand back to himself. At least his shirt was long sleeved. He looked down at his notebook, "you didn't look at this, right?" He asked her.
She slipped the hoodie on over her own, and looked over at him, a thank you written in her eyes.
"N-no," she replied, looking away and up at the stars.
"N-no," she replied, looking away and up at the stars.
"Good" he said looking at her. He looked down, "why did it matter what I was?" He asked in reference to earlier.
"I-I've been having n-nightmares all the time. About that night. I mean, you don't scare me, but it's haunting me. I was hoping that if I knew, my brain would quit with all the horrifying scenarios..." she replied, pulling the hoodie to herself tightly.
