Draik looked away from her, and looked at the ground, "why must today be boring.."
"I don't know," she groaned, laying back down and turning her head to look at the clouds. "Any plans?" She asked, though she knew the answer anyways.
"I don't know.." he said. He pondered a moment, and looked at her, "the park isn't busy today" he said. Not many people went to the park on this day of the week.
"Wanna go?" She asked, sitting up.
"Do you?" H asked her.
"Sure," she replied.
He got off the hammock and smiled at her, "then lets go" he said looking a her.
"Let me leave Jack a note," she said, running in the house and scribbling on a piece of paper, Be back soon -Rose She went back out, looking at Draik. "Let's go," she said with a smile.
He nodded an okay and watched her run off to make a note. Once she returned, he began to lead the way to the park.
She followed him, smiling a bit. She was liking that they saw each other a lot. She liked having a friend. A real friend.
Draik led the way to the park, walking alongside the road. He looked up at the trees which were almost out of leaves.
She walked silently beside him, humming a random tune and looking around. She loved the light autumn breeze and the trees, especially watching the leaves flutter around.
He listened as she hummed in the autumn silence. Around them children were taking leaves into piles and jumping into them giggling and laughing, or people were trying to get leaves off their porches, and may other autumn activities.
She watched, looking around and smiling at the kids playing, she remembered doing that when she was younger. She still hummed, looking up at the clouds.
His turquoise eyes sometimes wandered and watched the children, smiling softly as he watched. He remembered doing that to. He looked ahead. Soon, they were at the park,
Rose soon found that they'd arrived at the park. With a smile, she noticed the vacant swing set. With a laugh, she pointed them out to Draik as she jogged to them. She sat down and began to swing. She loved these things.
