He looked around, before meaning back and looking at the area of the park behind him. Looking for some ideas..
She watched as he looked around, silent and thoughtful.
He saw many playground activities, and a river in the distance. "Hm.." he said thoughtful.
She looked in the direction that he gazed, silent.
"Anything look interesting?" He asked her opinion.
"Wanna go look at the river?" She asked, gesturing to it.
"Sure.." he says and leans forward, stopping with the looking back, and stood up.
She laughed a bit and decided to have a little fun. "Beat ya there," she said with a wink, and started off in the direction of the river.
He laughed a little at her, and went to try to beat her, or at least appear like he was trying..he would let her win.
She was surprised when she beat him there. "You let me win you butt," she laughed, though trying to catch her breath.
He came and second, but did not mind, "did not" he lied, but for a fun reason.
She laughed. "Sure," she excused, letting him have his fun.
He still claimed he didn't let her win, despite the fact he did. After a moment he got closer to the river.
She looked at the river, going to sit on the large root of a tree near the bank of the river, watching the water flow. "How deep is it?" She asked, looking around.
He didn't enter the water, just stood near the water. "It looks deep..." he said. He couldn't really tell..it got deeper and deeper the further you went away from shore usually.
"I'd probably get sick getting in. That's the only reason I like summer, because I can swim," she replied, though looked out across the river and stuck her hand in.
That was one thing he never did. Swim. He never was taught to swim, and he never had much interest or desire to learn to. "The only?-" he questioned. Keeping that subject going, even if it wasn't summer.
"Like I told you, I prefer the cold over heat," she replied, watching the water move about.
Right..she liked the cold over the heat. He sat down near the water, watching as it moved. Back in the olden days he remembered grandmothers telling their children a river was a lot like life..
She watched him. "How do these things start?" She asked, her head tilted in curiosity.
