He looked down a little, then went downstairs. He felt his stomach growl lightly, right, it had been a bit since he had ate, but now as not a good time. Usually he refused to even drink from people directly unless he just seeked a change, or the indirect blood didn't satisfy him, which was slowly starting to happen. He grabbed a cupcake for the road. Quite healthy from outside appearance, but it was what was on the inside that he was after. His uncle had showed him various ways to hide blood in various human foods to keep people from knowing. He walked along the sidewalk, his hood covering his head, and his sleeves covering his hands. He didn't have his notebook or anything, just himself and the clothes on his back. He looked around, "what to do..what to do.."
Rose walked along the sidewalk, tossing her apple in the air, catching it one-handed and biting into it with a satisfying crunch. She observed her surroundings, and turned her face towards the sunlight, absorbing the warmth and walking backwards for a moment.
Draik walked along, minding his own business, until he to wasent paying attention were he was going and bumped into somebody, he kept his gaze down, not wanting to get a face full of sunshine. "Excuse me" he said, unaware of who he bumped into.
She turned around, blushing madly in realization that she bumped into someone who muttered something sounding like an "Excuse me." She looked at the person, seeing it was a boy. A second later, she recognized him. "Draik?" She asked.
He looked up barely, just enough to see her face, and not get any sunshine in his face, or neck area. "Rose?" He asked, despite the fact it was plain to see it was her. Well, he had not planned them, he guessed the world did.
She nodded, and watched his movements, then positioned herself to block him from the sun, which she noticed that he seemed to avoid. "You alright?" She asked.
He watched as she positioned herself and blocked him from the sun. Which he was grateful for. He looked her in the face, and he nodded, "yeah, I'm alright" he said to her, "are you?" He asked.
She nodded, "I... I'm okay." She awkwardly took a bite of her apple, and tilted her head, watching him.
"That's good" he said to he, at least she was okay. He looked down a little then looked at her, "soo..where were you going?" He asked her,
"No where, actually. I was just wandering around," she replied, watching him intently.
"Oh" he said simply, "seems we were doing the same thing" he told her. They were both just wandering around.
"I guess so. You're just wandering today? Since I'm wandering too we could... I don't know... wander together?" She asked, awkwardly. She had nothing to do, so she decided that it couldn't hurt to ask him.
He nodded.'he was just wnadering today. When she asked if they could walk together He thought about it a moment or two, before speaking up and answering with "sure" he said looking at her. They could walk together. It couldn't hurt.
She started walking in another direction, watching to see if he would follow. "Know any cool places to go to?" She asked, biting into her apple again.
He followed surprisingly. He looked down, his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, his hood covering his head. "Hm.." he pondered quietly.
She watched him think, then took one last bite of her apple, "Biodegradable," she mumured, throwing the apple into the woods. She fiddled with her bracelet as she listened for him to speak.
He looked at her a moment, watching her throw the apple away. Then looked away. He doubted she would go anywhere with him that didn't have any witnesses around, so he tried to think along the lines of places with few people, but a little.
She watched him, thinking for a bit. She really didn't care where they went, as long as it wasn't the alley. She didn't really like going to overpopulated places, though. She watched him, contemplating a few spots she knew about.
"I'll I've got is the park, the arcade, the carnival on the other side of town..that or we could look around until we find a place to go.
She looks down at her feet, walking and thinking. "Look around?" She responds, looking up at him. Carnivals were never her thing, and she always thought parks were cliche. "Or the arcade? Either one sounds okay."
