He starred upward, thoughtful. "Honestly, its not that great" he said. "People fear you, you feed off the innocent, you can't go in the sunlight, and you have a lot of weaknesses" he said. "But the stories I could tell" he said.. He had seen a lot of things in his years.
"I shouldn't be hanging out with such an old guy..." she joked, but her tone became serious with the next question. "What kind of stories?" She asked, watching him.
(I hope I'm getting my facts straight)
He chuckled a little at her comment, and looked at her, "Think of your history classes. What has happened between I believe it was almost 1700, up until now" he said. Seeing 1700 had 100 years, 1800 had a hundred years, 1900 had a hundred years, and it was just beginning 2000. He had seen many wars, he had seen many people.

She thought for a bit. His velvety, accent coated words replayed in her head. "Was Sherlock Holmes a real person?" She asked.
"He was a fictional character, but he was based off of Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle's medical tutor Dr. Joseph Bell," Draik said simply.
She nodded, knowing the character after thoroughly reading all of the stories and the backstory on how he was invented. "I was wondering. It was said that in 2008, 58% of Britons believed He was a real person." She replied, and thought a bit more. "You're from Russia, right?"
"In a way he was, in a way he was not. The person he was based off was real, but Sherlock Holmes in direct, was indeed, a fake" he said to her. When she asked if he was from Russia, "yes" he said.
"What's Russia like?" She asked, listening closely. She found his accent interesting. She had hoped Sherlock was real, just something she had always liked.
"Its changed as I've grew up" he said. "Its changed a whole lot. But its always been a land to get alot of snow, and now a days you can sometimes find things in places you'd never think, for example some people have found world war two newspapers hidden behind the wallpaper on their walls if their house was old enough. I remember the days when it was once called the soviet union, and those days weren't very fun at all, " he said and thought, "they say now-a-days Russia has more natural resources then any other country, but never have they been able to use them all due to the harsh weather-" and from there he went on explaining a lot about Russia for awhile, then stopped, "I think thats enough about past and present Russia" he said to her.
"It sounds amazing. Russia and Romania, both places have always been fascinating to me." She said softly, holding the stuffed Wolf close to herself.
It had its good and bad times, but in end it was alright. "I see.." he said softly, so that's why she wanted to know that stuff, it fascinated her.
She stayed silent for a bit, then looked over at him. "You've been alone, all this time?"
(I really think I have to make Draik up a new past where I've changed him so much. *goes to do that*)
He went mute.."what makes you say that?" He asked as if avoiding the facts.
He went mute.."what makes you say that?" He asked as if avoiding the facts.
"I don't know.. I was just wondering if you were alone for over 400 years. I couldn't do it." She said nervously. If he had, she felt awful. She hated being alone for a day, much less over 400 years!
"I've made a few friends along the way..they just all were human, and ended up dying.." he said. "They never knew what is was, like my friends back in the 1700's, because back then if they found out it would result in pitchforks and torches" he said, "just like if they believed somebody was a witch they would burn them, publicly" he said to her. "But I havnt had a real, true friend since 1902" he said to her quietly,
"Who was your real friend, then?" She asked, moving closer to him and resting her head on her hand. His stories were interesting to her.
"His name was Sebastian, and we became friends after we accidentally met each other, and we'd hangout just about everyday," he sighed happily in remembrance, "sometimes we'd go in the sewers and yell random stuff in Russian, and scare people half to death, but one night I messed up. Somebody saw my true colors, my true nature, and the towns people wanted to kill me, and they killed my friend believing I turned him in a demon for some reason, with a bullet to the heart, and that left me to flee that town" he said. "Before they killed me to" he said. Maybe that's why he feared telling her he was a vampire.
"I.. I'm really sorry..." she said quietly, not knowing what to say.
"Fate can't be changed" he said quietly, almost with s saddened tone. The thing that killed him is die was his friend was probably in a place where the gates would never open up for him, heaven.
She watched him as sad emotions danced in his dark eyes. She slowly moved over to him and hugged him, feeling bad about what he'd been through.
