Shadow Lakes Asylum has just dropped into lock down, all the cells have opened and doors to the out side world have been sealed. News teams and local police are gathering outside slowly the more day that the lock down is in session. They question what exactly to do, open up the building releasing inmates into the public or keep in lock down until better equips to deal with the serial killers and possibly let the guards inside die. Unknown to them most guards have been killed and only three or four are left alive. The warden Samuel J. Thorne has locked himself in the security room and uses the intercom to try and help all guards escape.
You may play as an inmate trying to kill guards and escape the asylum or you may play as a guard trying to survive the events inside. After each post your hunger drops about 10% unless you eat. Food and water each have different values based on what you may find. If your character magically finds food every other post something will be poisoned or rotting damaging your health. So don't troll! If you want to god mod think again, each inmate you kill lowers your sanity immensely, and the lower sanity you have the more you begin to go mad and see things that aren't there.
If you come across an inmate courtesy of Thorne, you can try to reason with him! But they are in here for a reason. Roll for the sanity of the inmate, if it is a six he may help you, if it is a four or a five he will try to run away from you. And if the inmates sanity is a one, two, or three the inmate will try and kill you. As said before, if you kill him your sanity drops a lot, I recommend running but they always give chase.
