This is a world is full of monsters and men. And ever since the expansion of Sesame Street into a full blown city crime has been rising steadily. Monster City is full of crime lords and cops, murderers and mad men. And only the small but growing police force of puppets and humans alike can bring an end to the insanity. Cookie Monster is in rehab again, Big Bird just became mayor, and it's up to the growing Sesame PD to snuff out small crime but also track down cereal killers like Puppet Master. Who does in fact kill his victims with cereal.

Piiro had just been appointed head detective and this was his first crime scene as such, "another kill by Puppet Master?" The victim, late thirties lay on the floor. "Elmo Red," Piiro was a monster puppet himself and the sight of stuffing all over the floor made him sick. 'Television star from the late nineties gorged with cereal in his own home,' a police officer read off of a file. Piiro sighed, it was about to be a long day, "m," he said to himself, "m is for murder..."
