I have to write an informative speech for my speech class tomorrow; I was going to write it about "Blue Exorcist (Ao No Ekusoshisuto.)" Is this a good idea? Or should I write it about something different? Any suggestions or ideas? This is my second to last speech and I would really like to have at least one good speech in this class. Please help! I'm desperate!

I originally chose Blue Exorcist because I was staring at my Blue Exorcist poster when I remembered I have a speech to write. I really do love this anime, but the more I thought, the more subjects came to mind and I began to over-think the assignment. My speech is only supposed to be 3 minutes long, so that part isn't a problem.

Let's back up then--informative speech. So you're just telling someone else (the classroom/audience) about the subject (Blue Exorcist). You still haven't told me what exactly it is!

Really though I guess this just slims down to picking a subject you like, since it sounds like your teacher gave your class free reign with the subject material. Obviously you must like these anime (and one game) because you've compiled them, so really I guess that part is up to you--frankly I couldn't tell you which to pick, personally, because I'm not intimately familiar with any of them.

What's the plot though? Interesting themes? Driving stories? Characters! These are all cool things you could write the speech on! Same goes for the rest of the list too, of course!

Oh, of course. Basically, it's about this teenage boy, Rin, who finds out he is the son of Satan after Satam kills his adoptive father. After that he decides to become an exorcist with his twin brother at th elite school, True Cross Academy. Eventually, the plot thickens and Rin's brothers begin trying to unleash his demon self. At the end of the series, Satan returns to try and open the door between the human world and the demon world permanently.

Oh, interesting! That gives you a decent deal to work with in three minutes then, I think!

Seriously, you'd be surprised how much time you can fill up, so prepare appropriately! I tried to do a 10 minute speech on the metagame of Pokemon. It turned out to be far too complex to do in that amount of time, and that's primarily why I failed mine--I went over the time frame.

I'll try not to get too excited and ramble. Although, personally, I'd listen to a speech about any Pokémon related subject.
