It was a beautiful night in the small desert city of New Wroll It was in the far eagerly parts of the Blade Lands. But this was an odd time in the world the sun had not set in three days. She had been searching for a man that she had fallen in love with. He was a man who smelled of dragon smoke, not that she should know what that smell like, dragons have been extinct for centuries now. But still she searched, she had met him once before and fallen head over heels for him.

The sun had been slowly turning from golden to orange to red now. But all of a sudden the air got brisk, and the sand around the city all froze. The sun had gone from red, to dark red in one afternoon. By the time nightfall should have come the sun had gone black and vanished from the sky. The world had already begun to freeze. And if a solution was not found, all life would be gone by the end of the week. The man who smelled of dragon smoke would be the only one to save them.

((OOC: Don't worry about the dragon smoke guy, he'll enter later.))

Malice wandered the desert shivering from the freezing sand, His body was adapted for the warmer climates and this sudden flash freeze was doing a number to him both physically and to his morale. "Damned desert, why does it have to be so cold... What kind of desert freezes, I mean really!" Malice paused and thought about it for a second "Well, there is this one... Ha! brilliant, that was a good one!" Malice then remembered that the desert was turning into a frozen wasteland and started grumbling again.

Ryder wandered around the city looking for some kind of adventure. He crosses his to preserve body heat. It was hot in the desert, before everything started to freeze. He was going around asking people if they knew how the problem started. No one knew, of course. He saw his breath came out in ragged gasps from the cold. He decided to go back to his shack and make a fire pit to keep himself warm.

Lennox walked through the desert wandering with no destination in mind. She wondered where to start her search for the dragon man. She thought she heard someone coming up behind her but when she turned no one was there. She began to feel frightened so she pulled out her bow and was prepared to shoot it at any moment. She came across a shack and began to feel hopeful that maybe the dragon man was inside. She peaked in the window and realized it was not him. She sighed. "I knew it couldn't be that easy." She wasn't dressed for the cold and began to shiver. She decided to sit down leaning against the wall of the shack, but she still couldn't shake the feeling that someone or something was following her.

Ryder digs a little pit in the ground of his shack and lines it with stones. He takes some wood from his pile he was going to use to make a bench. He tosses it into the pit. He mutters something under his breath and a fire starts blazing at a good height. He sat close to the fire to stay warm. He glimpses out of a little hole in the wall and sees someone sitting on the shack wall. He opens the door and shivers because he was used to the warm. "Come in, if you want. I have a fire, and you look cold."

It was a great flash. A terrifying flash that had consumed Bohtimbhar in the midst of a grand battle. Struck by an unexplained wave, swallowed into the aether. Bohtimbhar was unable to understand how he had not died. Perhaps it was his resistance to the arcane, being completely unable to cast any form of spell. Perhaps the aether was just a portal. The High Elf now found himself in a dark, frozen wasteland of desert. Without his unicorn, army, even a shield. It was akin to a massive oubliette.

Without much of a choice. Bohtimbhar wondered this cruel place aimlessly. Hope felt faint, perhaps this was the end. The only blanket he had was his armour, and cold gothic steel was as cruel as the rest of this place.

Lennox jumps up startled by the presence of someone else. She stutters out "H-h-i I'm Lennox". The boy nodded and Lennox follows him inside. "Thanks for inviting me in I thought I was going to freeze to death out there." She sat down by the fire still shivering from the cold. The boy came over and sat down next to her they sat there for awhile in peaceful silence enjoying the warmth from the fire. She was pondering wether or not many people were still alive out there. She could no longer smell the dragon smoke and fear set in that he had gone. She wanted to help find the solution to make the sun shine again but had no idea where to even start. Maybe the boy sitting next to her was the solution or maybe it was someone else out there but she knew something had to be done fast. She turns to the boy and smiled "I don't know about you but I certainly do not like the cold."

"I don't like it much either", Ryder responds. Ryder stands up and goes into the little shelf ad pulls out two hunks of bread, and he lays them on a flat stone by the fire, to toast them. After the bread is warm and a little crispy, he hands one of the two pieces to her and says " I'm Ryder, and you are..." He trails off waiting for a response.

"Nice to meet you my name is Lennox". She said as she ate the toast. "Thank you for the food. I haven't eaten anything in a few days now". Lennox stood knowing that she should be on her way. Time was limited and sitting around wouldn't help solve the problem. The warm fire was so tempting she just wanted to curl up and sleep next to it. "Lennox no" she said to herself. She started walking towards the door. "Thank you for having me but I must go now It's my goal to make sure the world survives." She looked at Ryder and he nodded. She smiled and said "would you like to join me?"

Ryder thought about it for a moment. "Sure, why not. I've got nothing better to do. If I don't go I'll just get lazy." He then utters a phrase under his breath and a portal opens up and he tosses in some food and some candels. He then takes down a shelf and tosses that in the portal. He takes a flask and fills it with water he had been boiling by the fire. He grabs the one little curtain and tosses that in to use it as a blanket. "When ever you're ready I'll follow." He says to Lennox.

"Damn..." A few miles from the outskirts shack lay the city, Athen's entered looking rather apologetic. How could the sun just go out like that? It didn't make much sense. The world would either die in seven days or be saved free of consequence in three. "The sun went out again..." He coughed and grey dragon smoke puffed from his mouth lit with small blue embers. He needed to find her, the only one who could heal the world. Only in her hand would the item work!

He reached into his bag and looked at the 'Sky Plate'. It was like a battery for the sun!!! If you took it to the top of a tall mountain and broke it in your hands it would spark the sun, relighting the world in its warmth. He slid it back into his bag, "where is 'L'?" He asked himself, he had smelled her a little while ago but list her scent. "She'll be fine," he smiled thinking of the girl as he continued into the city of New Wroll.
