Mimi looked at Isabel and then at the new guy. She shook her head. "No, I don't recognize him, but there's still a possibility." She replied quietly and elbowed Damien in the side. "Don't say that!" She said and smiled at the newcomer. She held out her hand out for him to shake. "Hi! I'm Mimi! What's yours?" She was meeting a lot of people today...
Blake narrowed his eyes at Damien and stopped approaching the group. "Oh? I suppose you could call me dull." He looked over to Mimi and let out a slight laugh. "Especially if you compare me to her. You would be correct I am quite the dull person. I would watch your tongue and avoid any further insults." Blake resumed his walk over before he was stopped by Mimi.
"Oh? My names Blake Loltel, Pleasure to meet you, I suppose." He looked at her hand and thought about denying the handshake. But it seemed he was already on bad terms with the larger one. He reached out and shook her hand and looked over to Damien again. He walked over until he stood in front of him and looked up. "So, You insisted on insulting me on a first meeting. You've got some nerve to say that to someone like me. I'll save you the embarrassment of commenting on your appearance." Blake seemed to have a secondary intention as he removed his hand from his sheathed blade.

Damien's eyes shifted to Blake's sheath "Watch your tongue boy..." Damien shifted to his dragon form "Lest you wish to leave here as a pile of ash in the wind." Damien pushed himself up against Blake and whispered "My flames can scorch through rock and my temper is on a short fuse, so allow me to properly introduce myself. I am Damien Cain, I am a Damonfuer and I don't like you. You need to learn to take a joke friend and I don't respond well to threats." Damien turned around sharply whipping his tail into Blake's legs.
Mimi could easily see the tense air here. Though now was no time to allow a fight to break loose. She liked to think that she was the leader of this newly arranged small group. She wasn't sure if Blake wanted to be in it yet, but it still counted! He said his name so he was an friend instead of a foe. Though how could she get them to be on friendly terms. She sighed as she came up with an idea. Considering she didn't like her nickname, she would have to suck it up. She instantly used simple magic to make it seem like her arms were covered in cotton candy. She quickly waved it in front of the two. "Hey Scales, Blake don't be like this! Let's all be friends! Here take a bite I'm the cotton candy witch remember?" She asked happily. Of course if they took a bite it would taste like blood... and meat.. so she just hoped that they would laugh and make up. No, she hurt her pride bad for this. They better make up!
Isobel could feel the tenseness in the air as well. Scales seemed destined to get into a fight with somebody today. She walked toward them quickly and put a hand on Blake's shoulder and Damien's scaly forearm. Of course he was already whipping out the dragon form. "Boys, boys, I know your testosterone filled bodies are urging you to be manly and fight for dominance but we really need to get to the more important matter at hand." The whole time she was talking her hands let out a blue light so faint you couldn't see it unless you knew to look for it. She was sending calming thoughts to their auras, energies, whatever you want to call it. Her ability to control other people's energy was rather limited though she was often able to affect emotions.
Annabeth ran through the forest, her hooded cape flying out behind her like a blanket of darkness. She had escaped. Oh for all that time she had finally escaped! she wanted to yell out and scream to the heavens to thank them! but this forest was never empty. Oh no, it never was.
There was always someone listening. Never no one, always someone.
She stopped. Listened, voices. Voices nearby. Clutching a tree and peering through every possible branch nearby, listening, searching for the source of the voices.
Anna put two fingers to her forehead and with her mind, searched for anyone who might be nearby. She mustn't get caught.
Her heart was racing, pounding against her chest.
She was so frightened...
There! Four people, not all could be what you could call human. But then again, she wasn't either.
They were all in a group, talking. No from what Anna could gather, there was bound to be a fight to break out soon.
That was good, maybe not for them but it would do as a distraction for now while she made her way past them and deeper into the forest...
Then she ran. She was going to pass them... Surely...hopefully?

Blake looked at Damien and then back at the other two. "This is truly no place for us to fight. Therefore, I will back down just this once. Don't think to highly of yourself though." He let out a slight laugh and extended his hand to Damien. "You are correct, I don't take jokes well. Although, to joke on a first meeting is a tough one. You never know how it will turn out." Blake looked at Mimi who decided to attempt to Crack a slight joke at Damien and Blake.
"Oh, I think you might need to work on that a little bit. The big ol' Lizard might actually take you up on that offer." Blake decided he would make himself seem less hostile towards the group. "Just to make sure you won't consider me a foe by any means. I will disarm myself until it's required." Blake pulled his both his blades out of their sheath. A slight glint came from his gloves that he was wearing and the blades disappeared.
Blake turned to Mimi and Isobel... "My apologies for the problems I had caused just a few moments ago." Blake heard movement from the bushes just southwest of their position. Blake rose his hand for a moment for everyone to stay quite. "You guys hear that? I'm not sure what it was... Although, there definitely was motion in the distance."

Anna froze. One of the men who went by the name ' Blake ' had heard something in her direction.
Crap.
She now went up to full speed, her legs pounding against the forest floor, she was careful to avoid branches.
She flung herself up into the branches of a nearby oak tree and slid inside its hollow trunk. And hoped she would not be found.

Isobel dropped her hands to her sides and breathed a sigh of relief. That could've turned pretty ugly. She smiled at Blake, or rather, in his general direction. "No need to apologize, nothing really happened." To herself, she thought this group was getting pretty big. She wasn't expecting to meet this many people out here, or really anyone at all. She was already uncomfortable around strangers, crowds of them made her want to scream. Luckily, it wasn't nearly that bad right now.
She tilted her head to listen when Blake mentioned a noise. His hand lifted for silence was lost on her but she was generally pretty quiet. Isobel listened for a moment then lowered her voice. "Human, or at least humanoid. Small. Probably a young boy or girl. Footsteps stopped..." She lifted her hand and pointed in the direction of the trees surrounding Annabeth's hiding spot. "There."

Annabeth facepalmed. They had found her.
She could have been far away by now, wandering across the North mountains in hope to find out the true meaning of life.
But instead she was tuck in a rotting tree, with approaching strangers. Who where probably unpredictable.
Perfect scene.
Damnit...
*thump* she banged her head against the inside of the trunk in her frustration. Causing more noise.
Damnit!
She sighed. She was going to get found now...if...an idea came to her.
If might work... Or it might not...
Looking through the top of the hollow entrance to the oak tree, Anna saw bats. Hundreds of them. Perched in the huge open branches of the oak tree. Perhaps millions, all hanging upside down.
She rubbed her chin thoughtfully before making a decision.
* pheeewwwweeeeee * by putting her hands together! like her father had taught her! she was able to make a bat noise. She watched as the bats became disturbed and flew straight at the group.
This was her chance to escape.
She threw herself from the tree and began running, once again. Farther and farther until she thought the distance was safe.

Blake looked at Isobel and nodded. "If you will excuse me... I'll go check things out in person. Would it be alright to summon a weapon? I may need it for a possibility of confrontation." Blake had his hand outstretched and the gem on his glove was glowing a deep purple. Blake didn't plan to pull out a weapon without permission. "I feel that the weapon I'm going to pull out needs approval from someone. I don't want to be one to freak anyone out. But, this isn't exactly the most pleasant of weapons to pull out. But, it will amplify myself enough to catch up with who ever it is."
Blake noticed a swarm of bats coming out from the tree. He knew the person was going to try to get away now. Perhaps it was to late for Blake to even attempt to catch up. He couldn't even tell the direction the person had went with the bats swarming all over. Blake swung his hand around his face as some swooped down in confusion. Obviously the bats were not happy about being disturbed and were confused about the day time.

Annabeth panted and fell into the snow that has now gathered on the ground. She lifted her head up as a thought came to her.
' note to self, stay out of sight '
She groaned and buried her head back in the snow.

Isobel shrugged. She already had her metal staff in hand. "Just so long as you don't use it on us, I don't mind you having a weapon." She knew just as well as Blake did that the person would try to escape as soon as she heard the bats flying out. "Go. I'll follow above. Yell out if you find them." And with that, she spread her wings as wide as she could without getting them caught on any tree branches. A few powerful down strokes and she was above the treeline. It didn't take her long to fly over the spot where the person had been hiding. They couldn't have gone far.
Mimi quickly hid her arms from Damien. "Don't you think about it Scales." She muttered and looked at Isabel while smiling. "We were successful!" She said happily until she looked in the direction that Blake said the noise came from. "You can use your weapon if you want." She said as she noticed the bats coming. She panicked slightly and grabbed a spice out of her pocket and threw it at the bats. She chanted a spell that made the spice explode around the bats, making them fall to the ground unconscious. She smiled happily and quickly ran beside Blake. "Do you think they got away?" She asked.

"Thank you for approving it at the very least. I don't want to be on the bad side of any of you... Except perhaps that lizard over there. If you're going from above than I suppose I'll rush them." Blake placed out his hand and a blade began to form.
As the blade began to take shape... So to did Blake's appearance. Blake began to grow black scales across his hands and forearms. He began to develop what appeared to be slight fangs and some aspects of claws. His eyes began to glow slightly and seemed to be a bit brighter.
Before the blade was complete Blake shoved it into a Sheathe to stop it from materializing fully. He didn't want to seem like he was a monster to the new group by bringing out such a blade. Blake looked at everyone and shook his head. He ran off into the forest at a decent speed and went in the direction the person fled. Having stopped the blade from forming entirely it limited the benefits he would gain. At most he had the hardened scales and appearance... If he was lucky he'd have some extra endurance from the form as well.

After getting up, Annabeth suddenly felt the ground rumbling underneath her,
Reaching out with her mind, she saw two life forms following her, and one of them was getting closer by the second... A huge... Black .....Dragon, or to be more accurate, a demon.
Memories from Anna's past shrouded her in darkness, she was frozen to the spot,
Her stomach tied itself into knots, her worst fear. Now chasing her....
She felt like crying, anna fell to the ground and pulled her cloak over her head. Her hands were shaking. She had escaped for nothing and was going to now die the most dishonourable death possible. There was no way of escaping.
She closed her eyes, a tear slid down her cheek and fell onto the ground.
" please " she whispered. " please no..."
She looked around panicking, and spotted a cave, not too far away.
She stumbled over to it, and crawled inside, hiding behind a boulder.
Anna clutched her shaking hands against her body, she should have never left...never ran away....she was no longer safe and only wanted to be home.
She rested her head on the cave wall and closed her eyes.

Isobel drifted in the air above, listening for signs of what was happening below. The flapping of the bats had fallen silent since Mimi had taken care of them, so it was much easier to hear again. Blake was easy to pinpoint. His tread was heavier, and he was more concerned with catching up to the person that being silent anyways.
In the quiet she heard the soft thump of someone falling to the ground followed by a soft almost pleading voice. It sounded so helpless and scared and she couldn't help remembering that she'd been like that once before. Only she knew the people who'd been chasing her would do worse than kill her. Isobel let herself reach the topmost branches of a tree near Blake. "Hey Blake! I think you scared her." She of course didn't know that there had been any kind of alarming change in Blake's appearance, but it was generally pretty frightening to have a guy chasing after you in the woods in any situation. "Let me try something." She said before taking off again.
She landed lightly on top of the boulder where she had heard movement going towards. Isobel was confused for a moment and she had to jump down on the ground and feel her way around the boulder to find the cave. "Hello?" She called out softly. The drop in temperature was a signal to her that they were in the dark. She lifted her hand and a small light blue orb appeared just above it, spreading light through the cave so that the girl could see her. "I'm not going to hurt you."

Mimi followed close behind them as fast as she could. She was a witch yes, but she didn't have the strength left to make her physically strong. Well, she was practically handed everything so working out was never really on her lists of things to do. When she finally caught up, she rested against the outside of the cave tiredly. Next time she would either trick or bribe someone into letting her ride on their back. She looked at Isabel confused. "I don't think anyone's here..." She said quietly. Though she knew she could be very well wrong.
Blake stopped his advance at the edge of the tree line. Blake pulled out the incomplete blade from his sheathe and it disappeared from existence. As fast as the process had begun it was gone and Blake was back to being normal once again. "Come again? I scared her??" Blake had seemed confused not exactly understanding the situation to its fullest extent.
Blake seemed to be fairly exhausted and walked over to the cave entrance. Blake just collapsed himself against the outside wall and slid down to the floor. "Even if I scared them..." Blake took a pause for a moment trying to catch his breath. It was obvious that doing what he did took a large amount of stamina. "My jobs done now right? We found them and can finally figure out what or who it was. If so i'll be resting out here." Blake pushed himself off the wall and laid down on the ground.
Blake propped his head up with his arms and listed carefully. He wanted to make sure he didn't miss anything that was happening.
