Mimi was the daughter of the head of tree village. She was pampered until no end and always been fed with a silver spoon. Even so, most would think that she would be selfish or gullible. Though she was more of a trickster then anything. Even though she would constantly play pranks on the villagers, her parents always got her out of it. Life was all good.
It was a normal day as any when an army of creatures of all kinds instantly rained hell on the village. They had strict orders to kill all the villagers. Their goal was to kill everyone who wasn't in their organization. They would go village to village, killing everybody. Mimi barely escaped with her life as she limped out into the woods. What would she do? What would happen? Everything was gone. Who would do this? As she watched the village burn, she felt hate grow inside of her

Damien was wandering the woods when he heard a creature of some sort, not knowing what might be lurking in the dense underbrush he crept quietly towards the sound. He knew that most creatures in these woods were harmless but there is always a sense of danger.
"Who goes there!" Damien shouted to see if there would be an answer, he had heard what sounded like a raid. "Be you friend or foe?" Damien needed to be sure that this wasn't a dark entity because his skittishness might lead him to leaving them extra crispy.

Mimi was just wondering now. She didn't know what to do. What could she do? Revenge was set into her heart now, but what would she do and how would she act? While she was in deep thoughts, a piece of her clothing got caught in a branch of a bush. She cursed under her breath and tried tugging it out. Instantly though, she heard someone asking if it were a friend or foe. She quickly decided to use what little magic she had to make this man go away, by making a small animal (rabbit, mouse, fox, etc) crawl through so that she wouldn't seem threatening. She didn't recognize his voice either, could he be part of the group that burned everyone in her village to the ground? She would have to follow him.
Damien stood dumbfounded as a small rabbit made itself appear, Damien might have been part reptile but he wasn't a pea brained oaf, He heard footsteps larger than a rabbit. He had traveled many lands and was quite familiar with different types of magic both dark and normal.
"Be you a witch, a shaman, or Fae?" Damien listened for a response but no sound was made other than the small sound of the rabbit twitching its nose. Damien decided to carry on the direction he was already heading.

Mimi bit her lip when he further questioned her. So she didn't trick him, that was slightly disappointing. Though now wasn't the time for thinking about tricks. When he decided to carry on, she carefully freed herself from the bush and got low. She was able to just barely manage a spell that made her disappear. She didn't want to lose her cover, so she just took a step when he took a step. It was very boring for her, but she couldn't take the chance to miss what if he was going back to their leader. Then, she could just end it all there. She would kill the leader and everyone within the group so she could have her revenge.
Damien was more than just some simple lizard, although his dragon form did possess reptilian capabilities he was still a man. Damien flicked his forked tongue like a snake smelling the air, he knew he was being followed by some sort of unseen entity.
He wanted to throw whatever it was off, so he made a quick dash off into the overgrowth of brush and ferns. Damien ignored the briar thorns and he lay low to the ground as still as a corpse just waiting for the scent to get closer.

Mimi noticed that he took off running and she quickly followed. She couldn't afford to lose him! Though soon, she easily did. She sighed and noticed that the spell wore off. She sighed and looked around for the lizard man again. Only to nothing in the end. So she sat at the base of a tree and pulled up her legs so that she could bury her face in her knees. She was too tired to actually go on further now. But when she closed her eyes, it was filled with the dying villagers. She hugged her legs and looked up. How would she get revenge if she couldn't even follow someone?
Damien could hear sobbing, was it coming from whatever had followed him? safe or not his instincts as a care giver kicked in and he went to check it out.
He saw what appeared to be a young girl crying In a tree. "Excuse me miss, are you the one who has been chasing me through these woods?" Damien asked showing care "Please stop crying, if it makes you feel better ill let you catch me."
Damien took a non threatening stance and smiled, he hadn't revealed his dragon form so as far as he knew she thought him as only a man.

Mimi pulled up her knees as she began crying harder. They were all gone. How could she let them all die? She knew who to blame, but she couldn't save one person. Not only that, but she couldn't even follow someone. That's when she heard footsteps and looked up, it was the guy she was following.
She quickly stood up and wiped her eyes. "I'm not crying!" She defended and quickly looked away. "I-I was following you. But I wasn't trying to catch you. I was seeing if .. Um.. if you had anything to do with my current task..." She said. She didn't want to say anything about her village to him. What if he did have something to do with her village, then he would kill her too. Though why did he just offer to give himself up? He seemed like he wouldn't hurt her really.

"Your task?" Damien asked but then paused and turned to his dragon form. "Who sent you? Be you an agent of the Chaos?" Damien was confused why would this girl be trailing him if she wasn't sent to capture him?
"What are you following me for? Unless your trying to send me to my death there is no reason for it."
"What are you following me for? Unless your trying to send me to my death there is no reason for it."
Mimi was surprised when he turned into his Dragon form. She would of been afraid, but she was a little more afraid of what he would do to her if he continued to think that she was sent out to kill him. "I'm not trying to kill you, I swear. Though I do have my own reasons for following. My task is something I assigned to myself. I work for no one." She said, trying to prove her innocence. Well, if he did try to kill her... She could always run. But it would be best to reason with him now so she wouldn't have an enemy in the future.
Damien lowered his guard a little, not quite sure what she could mean. "So your just following me... to follow me? Well... Your stalking me then? Are you some sort of secret admirer or something?" Damien changed back and rubbed his neck with his left hand.
"Sorry if I scared you, I have some pretty wicked people trying to capture me for nefarious purposes." Damien extended his hand towards Mimi "Damien Cain, pleasure to make your acquaintance Ms..."
Damien drew a blank and realized she hadn't introduced herself. He took the risk of looking foolish and kept his hand drawn towards her anticipating a handshake.

Mimi rolled her eyes. "No, I don't even know you." She said and sighed softly. At least she was able to get him to stop assuming that she was out to kill him. That would've ended badly. Though she wondered why he had people out after him, it did peak her interest slightly, but she had other things to worry about. She looked at his hand and shook it. "My name is Mimi." She answered so she could introduce herself. It was better to have friends then enemies.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance Mimi." Damien said as he gave a firm handshake. "Tell me, what is your reason for following me? You realize I could have burned you so badly that you would turn into soot. Its lucky I decided to hide." Damien did feel that he made the right decision to pick flight over fight this time.
Mimi nodded and smiled. "Likewise." She said back. Though an answer to the next question was rougher. It was true that he could have burned her instantly. Though she would like to think that she would have the magic experience to do handle that fire, though if she couldn't follow him; she probably didn't have the experience to handle it. "W-well... I'm from the village, actually it's only a little ways to the left." She said while pointing to the left. "Some group, I've never seen them before, but they burned it down... and killed everyone... I followed you because I thought that you were one of them... I wanted to find their leader." She explained, the images of their bodies painted all over her mind.
Damien got a slightly irritated look "Oh, you see me and assume that I burn villages. Didn't figure you to be the stereotype believer." Damien shook his head and began to slowly continue walking.
Mimi didn't want him to be offended. She obviously said something wrong. It must've been because he was a dragon... and she thought that he could've burned her village. "It's not like that." She said and crossed her arms. "You shouldn't be offended so easily. I would have been following everybody that weren't human at that point." She explained. "I didn't mean to sound rude." She apologized.
Damien turned again into his dragon form "What did you mean by it then? Huh? Because so far all I know about you is that you followed me on account of a burning village. Let me give you a little info, people call me 'Myzery' Why is that? Because everywhere I go, no matter how hard I try to get away trouble always seems to follow me. I try to escape the judgment, I try and escape the hatred, I try real hard in a foolish attempt to make friends... Even though in the end I know ill be the reason for their demise..."
Damien spoke with a mouth full of flames, after he finished his speech he sunk down to the ground and held his head with both hands and began to hyperventilate causing smoke to be expelled from his mouth. Damien was viewed as unstable by most people. He thinks the worst of everyone, that everyone is out to get him.

Mimi quickly saw her wrong choice at wordplay. This was turning out for the bad so far. And it was getting worse by the second. If she thought for a second that his talk with a mouth full of fire was bad, the smoke was worse. He was quickly surrounding them both with smoke. What could she do, what could she use?
She quickly pulled a fan out of the small bag that was around her waist and began waving it around. She had to hurry and at least try to get some of the smoke away so she could talk. So far, it was only suffocating her and stinging her eyes. When she coughed and covered her mouth when the air finally got lighter. She went to his side and continued to wave the fan so the smoke wouldn't complete cover her again. "I'm sorry, I really don't mean to offend you. I didn't think the fact that you're a dragon that you burned down my village. It's rude for people to call you Myzery, and I think you shouldn't think that you're going to be the reason for your friends death. For example, I am not dead right?" She asked, or at least she thought they were friends.

Isobel was startled from her nap up in the trees when she suddenly smelled smoke. It surprised her enough to make her fall off the branch she had been on. She shrieked as she fell and her wings snapped open before she hit the ground. Her feet came to touch the ground and her wings folded behind her. She coughed, trying to clear the smoke out of her lungs. Was the forest on fire? She backs up slowly, ready to take off again. The smell of smoke was still in her lungs and she couldn't tell that nothing was on fire. Not when she couldn't see anything. She didn't even know that there were two people right in front of her.
