So, I've had an idea for both a character and a roleplay in my head for about a month now. I didn't want to look for partners until I was sure I liked the idea and that I would want to stick with it, so I waited. I am now sure that I would want to stick with not only the character, but also the story line.

Also, I am sorry this is a lot of info, but I've thought about this for a month so I have a pretty good idea for the foundations of this story.

Requests/Requirements
To begin, I want both of the main characters to be werewolves.

If that didn't deter you, my second requirement is that your character be male. My character will be female. You the writer do not have to be male, but your character must. I would like this to have romance but be mostly about the drama/action and character building. Romance is a part of the story, but not what it is all about. Not this one anyways.

Third, I'm not looking for a loner werewolf. I'm looking for someone who would be willing to play an alpha of the biggest pack in the city of our choosing(I was thinking London since most Victorian Steam-punk tends to be located in London, but if you would like to have it located elsewhere then let me know.)

The fourth request is just a request, not a requirement. I would like for my partner to reply to my posts within a week.
The max amount of time would be willing to wait is two weeks. Anything longer than that would be too long for my tastes. If my partner posts regularly and then tells me life has gotten in the way and they won't be able to post as much, that is one thing. I am looking for a long term roleplay partner though. Not someone who comes and goes in spurts depending on what they feel like roleplaying from one week to the next. I've been there, I've done that. Somethings I have had a taste for one thing and then suddenly lost it. I've made sure that I'm ready for a long haul with this idea and I'm looking for someone who is willing to take up a commitment as well.

If that fourth one didn't scare you away, then hopefully this won't either. Fifth, I am looking for someone to build a world with. Yes, I want to build our characters together and their relationship. I want to do more than that though. I want not only our character's lives to change, but I want the world around them to change as well; inventions should be coming out, wars should be happening, politics should be stressing characters, poverty, science, etc. I feel I have a pretty strong base for the story and the world, but I want to be able to talk to my partner to further build and construct it. If my foundations are not as sturdy then let us lay a stronger foundation together. If you read about something in another book and you liked it, lets incorporate it! Let us mash our ideas and the things we have read about together to make something that we both will be able to enjoy.

Sixth, I would like my partner to attempt to match my posts. I will always do my best to match a post and sometimes, if I can't then I can't. I can't hold up a roleplay though. If I am posting 3 paragraphs and only getting 1 paragraph back consistently I will most likely say something to my partner. I normally post between 2 to 4 paragraphs with at least 4 sentences in each. So if you can't normally post that much, then perhaps I am not the partner for you.
WARNING: My beginning posts are ALWAYS LONG. So if you can't match my first post down to the dot, please do NOT get discouraged.
In my first post I am establishing the setting around my character, what they are normally like, how they act, mannerisms, etc. So if I give you a novel and you give me back 3 paragraphs, I will not be upset. So please do not let a large first post scare you. I don't always write like that.

Lastly, and most importantly, if you are not enjoying the roleplay tell me. For the sake of every roleplayer out there, TELL ME. I do not get hints. Subtlety is something I cannot deal with in my every day life, much less trying to read into over the internet. So please, PLEASE tell me straight up. If the only way you know how to tell me is mean, be mean to me. I would rather have you be blatantly mean to me and know what exactly my partner didn't like about how I was doing something, than never know and make the mistake 100x over because my previous partner dropped me. Would I prefer you to not be mean? Well yeah, no one likes having someone be mean to them. If you can't get across your point without it though, then do what needs to be done and not sissy-foot around the gosh darn issue because you think I'm delicate. I'm not. So as I said before, if you are not enjoying the roleplay tell me. I will do what needs to be done to make it enjoyable for both of us.

Story
50 years in the past, the daughter of a very wealthy nobleman, Elizabeth Beckett, went on a trip to India with her father. The woman had been well known, and for the most part, liked throughout most of London. She was especially well liked among the men of the upper echelon, despite the fact she had brown hair rather than blond and she also required a larger dress size than society's beauty standard liked. She had always been known to love a good scandal, and had once or twice been the center of them, although they had always just been rumored scandals and not confirmed scandals. So after a few months of living quietly they were brushed under the carpet. She had also always said she had wanted a more adventurous life with more drama so when her father had set up a business trip, he took her along with him despite the fact her mother insisted she stayed to find a man. At the time of their departure, she had only been 16. She had just come of age and many men had been willing to take her hand. Her father, although an old fashion man, had claimed that a trip would satisfy her unladylike desire for something men could only seek and would pacify her into her place. For a long trip to India was something only the strongest of men could handle along with the disgusting land of those uncivilized apes.

During their voyage back to England, she had been reported to have gone into a fit and jumped off the side of the boat around the tip of Africa. They had searched for the entire day afterwards but hadn't found a body. So the ship left assuming she had died. Her family had taken the death of their daughter hard. She had been the youngest of 4 and following that event, her father withdrew from society's prying eye and retreated to the country. The mother kept up appearances, but it was clear that the family hadn't ever recovered from the sudden and unexpected loss.

50 years later, Elizabeth showed up. The girl who had thrown herself off of the boat into shark infested waters, had been rumored to have appeared at her oldest sister's home. The rumor had sent every wealthy woman's head spinning and many had claimed it was her ghost. Somehow, someone had called her ghost back to the living and showed her they way back to her family. A month after the rumor had started, at the first party held by her sister and brother-in-law, she had helped her sister play host. What really sent all the gossiping women into a tizzy was the fact that Elizabeth Beckett, who was suppose to be 66 years old, didn't look a day over 17 or 18.

Now, in the last 50 years, England had made many changes to the country. For one, the most recently queen and king had opened their country to not only werewolves, but any supernatural creature. They had claimed that for too long, the two kinds had lived fighting and that it was in the bets interest of the country to unite all the people. A small supernatural parliament had been assembled, and laws had been put in place. Every supernatural creature, who wished to live in any city, was required to uphold the same responsibilities that a normal citizen would have along with follow the laws specifically for the supernaturals. The second thing that had, more permanently integrated the supernatural folk into the 'civilized world' was the development of a Supernatural Defense of England. Many other things had changed as well, such as the vampires leading England in the revolutionizing of the fashion world. The development of stronger metals had been a major break through for the English, originally it had only been meant for the cells of werewolf cells during full moon.

Back to the homes of every English noble during this time, any talk of Elizabeth had immediately jumped to her being supernatural. Question of how it had happened arose, but many people seemed to wonder, just what kind of supernatural she was. She hadn't been out and about during full moon, but her sister had opted to stay in her house as well that evening. The girl, or rather woman, also seemed to stay in during the day. Yet, she had been reported going out and about once in a carriage. Some people were saying vampire while others were most persistent she was a werewolf. Very little talk of any other creature had been brought up.

Days after the first party Elizabeth's sister had thrown, invitations started arriving at every noble's home. They were on golden paper and each had been scented lightly with lavender. The seal of the Beckett family carefully imprinted on the wax seal that held the invite closed. The party was being held in honor of Elizabeth's arrival home, and was also to reintroduce her back into society. Of course, the invitation hadn't said the later. Many noble's who wouldn't have ever associated themselves with the Beckett family were drawn to the gathering, if only to find out just what kind of species Elizabeth was at this point in time and then leave. Everyone who was anyone was going to attend. Even a letter to the alpha of the London pack had been sent. The invitation sent to the alpha, hadn't only been scented with lavender though. It smelled strongly of a female werewolf. Female werewolves are not an uncommon thing, but any wolf without a pack would be of some concern to an alpha. Especially if the wolf was in his territory and especially if the female wolf were to be in heat. A lone female wolf could potentially draw any and all wolves without a mate from the surrounding area. So to the alpha, it was in his best interested investigate.

Final Note
