Sam had the news paused, "I think your going to want to see this," he said as she entered. He clicked a button on the remote and the one of the lead officers was talking about how new information from video tapes had identifies a white haired woman at the scene helping Samuel Thorne escape. Footage switched over to the Police station months earlier, and the woman explained how she had dangerous witch like powers and was extremely dangerous! "Wait," he said, "theres more." He fast forward the program a bit then pressed the play button again. 'Because the dosage of the elixir the witch injected Sam with hadn't been measure properly yet, he will die as soon as he falls asleep. As soon as his brain tries to go into a resting sort of state it will shut down all together.' The woman then explained more about the harmful effects and side effects but Sam didn't much care for that. "I need to be in a hospital, but all on the surrounding hospitals are guarded by police...." He turned the television off, very hungry, "What is your plan?"

Talia sighed deeply in frustration.
"Fate just love to make my life difficult" She muttered before sitting down on the couch. She suddenly wasn't so hungry anymore and graciously offered Sam to eat, seeing how he would probably need it more than she.
So what could Talia do now? She was more than stuck between a rock and a hard place, heck she was squashed between a Boulder and a Mountain! The best option though Talia didn't like it too much, was to turn herself in and get Sam the medical attention that he needed. But then again the police could always turn on her and Sam and kill them both. Most likely they would shoot her, seeing that she was "oh so dangerous and could kill people by just looking at them!". If Talia wasn't in such deep crap right now, She probably would've laughed at the story on the News, they had quite exaggerated on her powers but that wasn't the problem now. Talia needed a plan or she would really have to do something that she didn't want to!

Sam ate, he watched her think and just zoned out. How on earth was her hair the only thing he remembered, between his thoughts he listened to the sound of his egg roll crunch between his teeth. This was a bad situation, and the head ache hadn't gone away... It was most likely one of the symptoms he had fast forward through. To be honest it didn't hurt much yet and it wasn't there biggest problem, what would they do about him not going to sleep... ever again! He had seen commercials for five hour energy, red bull, and even caffeine pills while he was flipping threw the channels. He also saw political campaigns and work out videos but those wouldn't help much for the situation they were presently in. He took another bite, "these are really good... thank you," he said finally, breaking the silence of thought.

"I'm sorry..." Talia whispered, burying her head in her hands. Her mind I ran a blank and she had only thought about turning herself in, which right now felt like her only option.
"I brought you back into all this mess just because I was selfish." She reminded herself more than she was talking to him. This was all her fault! Talia had lost him before because of her stupid descions and now she would surely lose him again. So not having anything else to do, Talia let her emotions take hold of her and She cried.
"I'm a really idiot..." She said between sobs. "I just wanted to see you one last time, to experience happiness again...But you don't remember Me or what we had!" It hurt so much to say those words. It was like Talia was fighting a useless battle, that all the odds were against her and yet She wanted to keep fighting! But she just didn't know how...

He dropped his food on the plate and wiped his hands on the jeans she had given him to wear. He stood and hugged her, "well figure something out ok." He couldn't believe someone cared so much for him that she would risk her own freedom to get him back. He held her tight as the news program ended, and as it did a beautiful mountain scape appeared on the screen advertising a vacation in Canada, wasn't Canada and Montana right next to each other? Sam released Talia from the hug and turned her gently. She was now facing the screen and he tilted his head, "are there hospitals in Canada?" Subconsciously he must have somehow remembered that the American police wouldn't follow them over the boarder... If they could make it past the cops and petrol.

Talia wiped her face, trying to stop her tears from falling. She was shocked when Sam pulled her in a tight hug but allowed herself to enjoy it and calm down.
"Canda has Hospitals, like every country. Though I do suppose we could go there. Though we are going to need passports...Well more like you," Talia planned everything out loud. It would be risky but it was a way better Idea than Talia crying over her inability to form a plan. Also it was better than her turning herself in.

"Thank you anyway. I guess I haven't really been as strong since you..." She trailed off, unable to speak what had happen. Talia was just really really glad he was here with her now or she would have long given up! In truth Sam was like her rock, someone to keep her and her powers in check(even if he didn't remember much about her) They would just have to somehow rebuild their relationship while trying to not get caught.

Sam didn't understand what a passport was, but filling out American passport information and waiting a month wasn't exactly the greatest of plan. Not that he would know, however risky they had two options. Find a way to obtain a fake Passport for him, or sneak him across the boarder. He looked into her eyes as they dried and began to deepen in thought about how to save him. In reality, if they couldn't find a hospital soon he would be a dead man. Of course he didn't much care, he had no memories of his life before so it'd be like losing nothing. Well that was a lie, he had her... But he hadn't yet realized how special she would become to him again.

"Hmmm...Or Maybe we should just sneak you across? That seems a lot better and faster than trying to get you a passport" She confirmed her plan with a silent nod. Going across the border had been her first plan all along when Sam had "Died", though now she was with him. Fate was indeed a tricky thing to understand, even for one such has her.
"Alright Sam, I guess we in a few hours. We'll get more mileage this way," She explained to him her reasoning. Talia would lose some hours of sleep driving and all but Saving Sam was way more important to her than getting hours of sleep. As long as He didn't fall asleep they would be fine, well unless the police caught up to them.

Shaking her head of the negative thoughts, She moved towards the bedroom to pack her merger amount of items and clothing into her duffel bag. Canada would probably be just as cold as it was in Montana, so she packed heavy winter clothes and shoes. Then she checked her wallet and counted her Money. In total she had Four hundred dollars left, which she hoped would be enough to pay for the medicine that Sam needed. If not, Talia could always wipe the memory of their vist to the hospital. Everything would be simple...Right?

Months before Talia had offered Sam a hundred thousand dollars which meant in the last few months she would have spent almost all of it somewhere. But where, and being unaware of either of these facts Sam had no mind to question it. Only sit and wait calmly in the living room as he finished up his food. The television was flipped off and he got into the car, it looked new. Had she really borrowed it, or bought a whole new one? Or maybe it was stollen because the hundred thousand had gone towards the hidden cabin they were in. Sam say oblivious to it all staring at the now powered down television, looking over his reflection with curious eyes.

With a small yawn, Talia grabbed her bag and walked back to Sam.
"Are you ready to go?" She asked him, smiling at him eagerly. Whatever happened now would decide rather Sam lived or would be taking away from her by the hands of death, though Talia would do everything in her power to prevent that from happening!
"I looked up the hospital and everything so all we have to do is cross the border and not get caught by the police" She said trying to sound convincing. But for whom she wasn't sure. Convincing Sam however, would be more easier, at least Talia hoped.

He smiled and nodded in her direction. He followed her out to the car and sat in the passenger seat, "how far is the boarder from here?" It was around four hours to the boarder from the nearest city, then another hour and a half to the nearest Canadian hospital. Cops lined the highways, after identifying the car she had taken, it would take a lot of extra driving to avoid the cops.

"Let's just say it will take more than an hour" Talia said throwing her bag in the back of the truck before getting in the driver's seat.
This drive will be such a joy... her mind added sarcastically. She would be basically driving Nine or more hours to Canada and the hospital but Talia reminded herself it was all for Sam's wellbeing. Sleep would just have to wait until they were both safe and far far away from the American police.
"Funny how this brings back memories when you have none..." She muttered once they started down the road. This is how it all started anyway, Talia's life on the run. Though expect they were in a police car instead of a stolen truck. It frustrated her beyond measure that the police had frozen her bank account, giving her no access to the Hundred thousand dollars she placed in her account after Sam's death. Stealing things and hurting people were activities Talia didn't enjoy but it was all she could do since she was low on money.

Sighing, Talia increased her speed to move away from the police road block. This had been the Fifth one and She had only been driving for half an hour.
"They're seriously looking for us huh?" She asked him with a slight smile. The American police were really started to annoy Talia now. Why couldn't they just leave her and Sam alone? There were plenty of other criminal-like people they could chase besides them! Her tattoo seemed to glow in agreement with her frustration. Hopefully they would make it until they safely crossed the border.

A slight yawn came from his mouth as he covered it, "I kind of have to use the restroom." They were coming up to an exit after about an hour or so of driving. There looked to be a check police checkpoint in every major town looking for Sam and a white haired woman, "too bad you don't just change your hair color." He stared out the window pushing his legs a bit closer together, "If you were a brunette this wouldn't be as dangerous." He wasn't trying to hint anything to her, and if he did it was all unintentional he was just stating the obvious facts of the situation that someone under this much stress wouldn't be able to see right away.

"I've tried that multiple times. But my hair always stays white. It's very annoying...Though I doesn't mean I can't buy a wig..."Talia smiled as a plan formed in her head. Even if he didn't know it, Sam was quite the genius! If only he had regained some of memories so Talia wouldn't feel as awkward about wanting to kiss him.
"There is a rest stop coming up and then after that I believe there is a small town. Hopefully I can buy wig and lessen my stress..." Talia muttered taking the proper exit towards the rest stop. Sighing in relief she had made it, she would only get a few moments rest but it was better than nothing.

They stopped at the rest stop and Sam got out, in the bathroom he unzipped his pants and began to use the john. As he did, a police officer pulled in and headed to the restroom. It was a female officer so she didn't go into the same restroom but every officer knew Sam's face and if he left the bathroom at the wrong time he would surely be captured. He finished and began to wash his hands, before drying them nice and slowly. He stepped out of the restroom as the sound of police boots walked through the woman's restroom door....

Snapping her eyes open, Talia noticed a shift in the movement of Fate. This was definitely not a good sign! Sure enough a Female officer pulled in a couple feet away from their car and headed right into the bathroom after Sam.
"Great...Just what I needed!" Talia muttered not to happy on their situation. Sam would be fine as long as he didn't-! Shit...
Once Sam walked out, The police women came right behind him, her boots clicking loudly with each step. Waving her arms frantically, Talia attempted to warn Sam to move as fast as possible before the Police lady noticed it was him. She could always run out the car and drag him back in the car, but that would risk her face being seen and Talia didn't have enough energy to preform a memory wipe.
"Fate just seriously loves to screw with me..." She mummered, hoping that things wouldn't get ugly.

The woman lowered her glasses at the sign of Sam, she opened her mouth to speak but Sam acted first. A quick unsuspected fist dove into the cops face, snapping her glasses in two and breaking her nose. Why punch the officer? Sam had nothing against this cop, or did he? She had been one of the same two officers who had nearly shot him dead on that lonely dirt road way back when. But thats not why he punched her, he punched her because she was a cop, and the cops were the people who wanted to hurt Talia. Unfortunately, he wasn't smart enough to run to the car, he waited for her to regain her scrambled thoughts and attempted to stand again. But, pow! She was down again!

Mouth agape, Talia couldn't quite believe what had just happened. Sam had completely did the opposite of what she thought would happen. Punching a cop was really really bad but at least she was unconscious for now.
"Sam, we need to go. Right now!" Talia warned him, stepping out the truck and searching around the rest top for anyone else that happened to be watching. Luckily she didn't exactly see anyone watching them and their was no signs of anymore police officers headed their way. She quickly moved to look at the unconscious police lady and winced at her injury. Sam had hit her very hard but she was still breathing at least.
"Guess we shouldn't waste anymore time..." Talia said with a sigh. Less sleep for her seemed to be a pattern when involved with Sam, be it that She was dreaming girly romance about him or on the run, Sleep just wouldn't come for her.

"You said you didn't like police right," he asked in hopes that this would make them even after she saved him. But he knew he would never be out of this debt, she had truly saved him, "wait stop running." He stopped as they reached the car and pushed her against the driver side door before she could open it. He then gave her what he believe she wanted, pushing his face against hers he kissed her. his lips loosened and this felt like a familiar touch, and a familiar taste. He liked it, he felt at home in this feeling and never wanted it to leave, never wanted her to go away or be sad any longer.

Talia's brain failed to function as suddenly Sam's lips were pressed against hers. This kiss was affectionate, and filled her with a warmth that seemed to block out the harsh cold of the winter air. Her heart melted at the way his lips fit with hers and for the moment everything was perfect. Talia felt at peace again as she drew away and smiled at him.
"That was utterly... wow" She breathlessly said, locked into his eyes. Talia couldn't even remember what they had to do now, but knew it was something important...Right?

"Um I should open door now..." Tumbled out of her mouth before she could take it back.
I Should open door now?! Who says that?! Talia's conscious shouted at her in embarrassment. Why did Sam have to be so distractingly attractive right now and make her seem like an idiot? Life just wasn't fair...
