Tertius sat alone under the innumerable stars atop a singular stone pillar, he had been still for many hours silently chanting to himself in some eldritch tongue. To the untrained eye it looked as if a leather cloaked man was mumbling to himself at the top of a very tall spire in the middle of a desolate wasteland. But to those who could truly see, not just with their eyes, they would see a huge beacon of æthereal light in oscillating patterns and formations.
The man was very plain looking, dusty brown hair stuck out at odd angles from under his hood that hid the top portion of his face, his chin covered in stubble, his mouth seemingly normal aside from a gap in his teeth. He wore a hooded leather cloak that wrapped its way around his body till it reached his forearms and just below his knees, even while sitting cross-legged on the ground the robe was loose enough to to reveal anything. Around his neck was a coarse burlap shawl that was wrapped in a way to show no indication where it began and where it ended.
He paused in his chant and looked to the stars. "i̦̲͔͚T̥̻̫̦͈ ̯̳a̘P̞̬P͍͉̙R̦͇̠̣̲ͅo̤̬a͕͙C̺͉̯̱͉̪̖H̰̘͈̹̣e̼̙̯̬̣̬S͕.͔͔.͉̺.͚̩̖" he says with a twisted grin, his blank eyes illuminating with a bright white light.

Solaris was shapeless formless thoughts emotions and energy floating and flowing in the darkness of the dark void that is the Sea of Souls. For time witch was beyond measure the void was in complete silence other than the meaningless thoughts of mortals and there indelible deaths ever so slowly adding to the power of the Aether so so slowly that it seemed meaningless . . . how ever at some point along the endless scale of time a much much brighter light interred the Aether this gleaming light this bright new power was in faced the thoughts and feelings of a man called Tertiu. like all living this his thoughts energy and emotions were represented by ripples of energy and the Aether unlike most Tertius's thoughts were filed with bright light and power win he spoke eldritch words of power the words shook thew out the void like tectonic plates smashing ageist one another
now were there more powerful beings out there in the world of the living possibly was there more power in existence of cores how ever it will be said that the void is a realm beyond the scope of imagination and not even one such as Solaris could not possibly have influence nor even have sight over nearly all of it. Solaris did just so happen to have a grate deal of influence in the part of the void that just so happen to be receiving the thoughts and feelings from Tertius seeing this bright new power Solaris thought to her self
'this being is unlike the others this one has much more power it would be useful just imagine how much more it will be once the mortal shell is broken that light and power will then be ready for a higher purpose' (of cores she did not think in English her words would have been in purest thought)
Solaris places a grate deal of her influence on the waves of light coming from the mind of the one called Tertius she makes an trying to corrupt and control the souse of this power (now she may very well fail at gaining control how ever Tertius would feel the presence of some dark force creeping in to his brain seeding him corrupted versions of his very own thoughts trying to brake his will trying to inter his mind

Tertius had, for the past few days attempted what most thought to be impossible, utilizing magic as a sort of empathetic pathogen that could spread from person to person via emotional ties. It had started a month prior, a simple glancing touch was all it took for the spell to start; it began with a little girl, he had handed her an apple at a market located in a town two provinces away. That girl spread the spell to her friends, then they spread it to their families, then the town, then the traveling merchants, then their customers, then their families... And so on and so on and so forth. Since that day one month ago Tertius had spread his spell throughout not only just the province but also the entire realm and several other provinces from other realms that bordered this realm.
Know he knew why Blightcasters, Plagueweavers and Rot-mages had so much fun, spreading fool purposed things had a certain charm to it. From one simple spell he had amassed enough psycho-empathetic energy to fuel his spell for eons so long as it continued to spread from generation to generation. Right now he was no more than a conduit, a catalyst, a conductor and transmitter for the spell.
Using his enhanced vision he would catch glimpses of what he was attempting to summon, a being of raw and unbridled chaos. Something about its... no... her nature was preventing him from fully comprehending her form into that which a mortal could view. But he could feel that she sensed him too, her otherworldly aura seductively attempting to sway him to madness.
Too bad she was too late for that.
But the Remnant could still feel a slight twinge of discomfort as this aura passed over him with no effect and began to damage the true owner of the shell he was inhabiting. The true Tertius screamed in agony behind a small triangular shard of reflective glass, "Please! Make it stop! ...The madness... It hurts in indescribable torment!" a tortured voice cried from within his robes. The Remnant merely smiled at this and waited for the being to reveal herself.
