Womance. An Rp about a bet between friends, one of the two loses and has to visit a gaybar.
The walk to the bar felt like a victory walk for B, a grin ever present on his lips as he occasionally glanced over to Taylor just to gauge her reaction. His bright blues spoke 'pride' and his hand dug into the pocket of his dark basketball shorts to have everything recorded on his phone. He wasn't going to allow her to forget the glorious event.
"Why didn't you wear something nicer?" he teased playfully, leaning forward to get in her view.

Taylor looked around at all the lesbian women and felt awkward. While covering her boobs, she walked and pushed herself through the crowd. This bet was stupid, she thought to herself. Who knew that sucking helium from a condom was that hard? Anyway, here she was, standing in a crowd of gay women and all of them were looking at her like she was a piece of meat.
"Lesbehonest, I could be wearing a garbage bag and still they would stick to me like bees to a picnic." Her face glowing after the clever use of the gay pun.

"And I could be invisible," he commented under his breath as his gaze flickered from one girl to next, all their attention taken by Taylor who displayed herself as a victim. Of course he wasn't jealous of this. He was merely amazed that girls actually had a thing for.. other girls. Bodie didn't know if he liked it or not, and was stuck between both thoughts, contemplating.
"Don't be so shy," his voice gave way that his grin had gotten wider, and he smacked a firm, large hand on her shoulder, shaking her a bit. "You're the main attraction here, you should take advantage of it! I mean, at least I'm not leaving you alone to be dragged off, " he chuckled deeply from his chest, "and who knows. You might find your significant other."

She rubbed her shoulder, her face in pain. What the hell did he mean, dont be shy? She wasn't shy, she wasn't flanting it either. Although she had always wanted to experiment, she didn't really feel it right this second. At that moment a girl looked at her with a deep stare, Taylor quickly turned around and acted like her nose was bleeding.
"Don't even think about it. And don't talk about a significant other, they can hear you!"
She pushed her elbow in his ribs and ordered a drink. She hoped the girl who had been staring wouldn't come over, yet she was flattered. After turning around, she noticed a couple of gay men in the crowd. "You're lucky, toonight there is something for everyone." A chuckle left her mouth while she pointed to show the fabulous gay, who was checking out B.

Bodie contained a laugh in seeing Taylor's immediate response to the woman who eyed her intently. He was fully aware of what his 'bestie' thought of the topic. He knew she was willing to experiment which was why he was a little confused as to why she was acting all uninterested and untouchable. The surfer gave it thought, pondered over it, mused over it. Maybe it was because of all heat from all the eyes burning through the back of her head? Bodie wore a pensive expression, but not for long.
A hearty laugh left his throat followed by a yelp when she thrust her elbow back into his ribs. Even so, a chuckle escaped through his lips and he rubbed the area, trying to rid of the minor ache. "What?" one of his dark thick eyebrows lifted to her statement before his eyes followed her finger. At the sight he visibly cringed, his face clouded with embarrassment, and red spreading along his entire face. His face whipped away from their general direction as he attempted to hide. "Uh.. Y'know you can always call quits if you want to, Tay," he offered mainly for his sake.

Watching the other wise manly dude turn red was something taylor just lived for. A big, loud laugh bubbled up when she saw his red cheeks. "Oh, the big guy wants to leave? No way, we stayin'!" Bodie was her favorite person in the whole wide world, even though their friendship was based on pranks, jokes and making each others lives a hell, she wouldn't trade this for the world.
Her drink almost shot in the wrong hole when she saw the girl walking towards her. "You know what? Lets go get a drink, somewhere where we wont get harassed." After chugging her wiskey-coke, she grabbed B's arm and ran for the exit. On her way there, she got slapped on the but by a really buff looking girl. It made her jump 20 feet in the air and run even faster.

Bodie gave her that brief look of disappointment before he went on to plead in a shouting whisper, "C'mon T! I'm losing my manhood the longer I stand here!" His face continued to burn to the point where it felt like he was sweating. His palms were certainly damp, but he had them shoved into his pockets, his shoulders hitched up in defense. Unlike most girls his pleading gaze wouldn't work on Tay even when he was most desperate to escape from the situation.
Since she wasn't letting in he prevailed against the stares of the men, his brawny body tense to rock. He was more than thankful when Tay's 'significant other' began making her way over, forcing T to drag him away from sight. "I thought you had a thing for her," Bodie smirked, matching her quick pace, but he didn't keep her speed after she was given a good smack. And, amazingly, like a horse, she took off. Tears sprung into his eyes as he burst out into wholehearted laughter, his lack of breath making him unable to run. "H-Hey! Tay!" he gripped her arm as to slow her down, "C'mon, it was just a little gesture of affection that's all. No need to take it to heart!"

When she got outside, she took a deep breath and waved her hand to cool down. She turned around and saw B almost die from laughter. After rubbing her butt cheeks for a minute, she quickly came to the conclusion that she wasn't gay. AT ALL.
"You're right B. Good thing that you're so open minded" An evil smirk came on her face and she walked towards a crowd of women. The women didn't look all that feminine, some of them had beards, others an adams apple. "Goodnight ladies! You are looking fabulous tonight. You know, my friend over there?" The women followed her finger to where B was standing. "He would really love to get his V-card swept by one of you, lovely ladie. He is really shy though. So be gentle with him?" One of the girls answered with a pretty ratchet voice. "Oh honey, he is really hawt. I would'nt mind putting my hands on all of that."

His laughter immediately came to a stop, his entire smile swiped from his face a she began to speak in that turn of hers, including the smirk that crept onto her lips. Seeing that she was walking towards the.. women? Men? God knows what! He combed his fingers through his blonde hair and he took in a deep breather as to prepare for the awful experience. She was persistent wasn't she?
"Tay, no!" he whispered harshly, attempting to grab her arm, but she was out of reach. His face flushed and he moaned in frustration as she spewed out lies. "N-no, I'm not!!" B felt exposed and bare in his own skin as he was being looked over with seductive stares. He could just crumble if it were possible but instead he made a run for it and pac3d up and out of there. No, he wouldn't wait for Tay either. If she wanted to find him she'd know just where he was going: the shack near the beach.

Seeing B run off like that made Taylor laugh so hard, she grabbed her stomach and laughed without any sound coming out. For a couple of minutes she stood there, looking like a retarded seal. After explaining the situation to the colorful women, she started walking to her and her besties favorite hang out.
Nothing was more satisfying then knowing that for the next few weeks, she would be able to use this against him. Any arguement they would have, she would win because of the embarrassing anekdote she could hold over his head. Bathing in glory, she walked into the shack. At the sight of Bodies face, when he saw her, she started laughing all over again. "well well... If it isn't the man of the hour?" She ordered a drink, on B's tap and sat next to him.

B only had to read Taylor's eyes to read her mind and the moment she was smug, could've been holding up a sign saying "I WON" and it still wouldn't have been enough. She was going to haunt him with this forever unless he somehow got her to drop it.. The next bet! The next back he would make them equals again... but Bodie didn't really like to hold things against people and especially her. Looks like he'd be her slave for a long, long time.
His head was resting on his arms, his brawny for haunched over. "Should I be honored?" he asked in a mutter, not yet lifting his head.

Bodie was pouting, something he always did after she won. He never got that this wasn't about wining, it was about the epic memories we had made, everytime they did a bet. She didn't like it when he felt like that, so as usual she tried to cheer him up. "Look, how about I can use this against you for 5 times? After that I'll let it go! And just for tonight, I wont mension it. Good?" She patted his shoulder and ordered some curly fries to share.
"Lets make a toast to this epic night!" Holding up her drink, she gave him a big smile. She would never forget tonight or any other because each night was an epic one with him.

"Hah. Five times too much," he muttered, but with a smile forming on his lips and he sighed softly through his nose. Briefly, he stared at her with scrutinizing eyes before he beamed, sitting up fully then scratched the back of his head. "Good I guess," his husky voice heightened in consideration and he brushed off her hand from his shoulder in a playful gesture.
Despite how embarrassing and torturing it was in the end it was all fun and games. Simply things they could do while they were young and remember when they're sitting in wheelchairs, attempting to do one last stunt. "Can't drink, I have some surfin' to do in the morning. You know that," he scolded half - heartedly.

"Okay, I can't go though. I have kickbox practice in the morning. I'll go surfing the next time." She quickly emptied her drink in her mouth and stood up. "Well boys, this girl is going to get some sleep. Bethany is fighting me tomorrow so I have to be rested." After waving goodbye to Louis the bartender and planting a kiss on B's cheek she wispered one last thing "Bye pretty boy!".
The next day after the fight, Taylor took a shower and then returned home. While home alone, she took her guitar and played some tunes. Bodie didn't know this but Taylor loved to write songs and sing. She had always been really careful about anyone hearing her. A rockish tune was played and she hummed and quietly sang the words that went along.
She had a lot of hobbies; kickboxing, surfing, soccer and painting where only a few of them. But her love for singing she had never shared with anyone, because she just didn't think she was good enough. Knowing who she was, was never a problem but she had a rough childhood which made her question her abilities. Bodie was her 'non-related' family but doubt of him leaving her always crept on her mind. Even though she never showed it she thought it. She didn't like to make problems of something that wasn't so she never talked about it, having a roof over her head made her greatful and thats all that mattered, she thought.

B was hardly disappointed. The surfer was well aware that Taylor had her own hobbies as he had his, taking his mornings and sometimes his nights, perhaps even the entire day if it came around to competitions. Still, it wasn't usual for girls to be as busy as her, participating in things such as kickboxing, but none of them really understood that it wasn't just a guy thing. Plus not too many guys were into girls who were slightly.. intimidating. B, on the other hand, didn't care much on where he stood by Victoria. They were merely equals.
He smiled at the kiss pressed to his cheek, red threatening to flood into his face, but he had been lucky this time and got away with not a hint that he was bashful though he was sure she knew anyway regardless of whether it showed on not. Minutes after she was gone he stood from his seat as well, waving goodbye to Louis before he headed home.
The day began early for B and at seven he was out trying to catch his first wave in waters that were calm. Maybe he came for the wrong tide? Either way he continued to wait, sitting on his longboard and watching the sun peek over the waters, turning the sky orange and purple. With this given time Bodie thought of things that wouldn't usually cross his mind like what his parents were up to, even his dad. Every now and then it found its way into his mind whether his father still remained firm on the assumption that surfing was no real career, on the belief that B should've been in college probably at Harvard University to major in Aerospace, but it was nearly impossible for the surfer to envision. Their difference seems to have marred their relationship ever since B was sixteen.
After almost an hour of drifting upon his board Bodie finally gave in and retreated from the ocean. He supposed he'd stop by Victoria's and he was sure that her spar was over by then. The ride in his doorless jeep would dry him as he drove over to her house almost ten miles over the speed limit, however, he'd always evaded getting a ticket somehow. Parking along the curb, he clicked off his seat belt and strode up to her door. He was about to knock on her door, his fist curled and ready, but he stopped as he heard music from within. Didn't sound like it was coming from a radio. Instead of knocking he pressed his ear against the door. Was that T?? Who knew she could sing?? B grinned and pressed his lips to the crease between the door and the door frame.
"Aye, Tay, is that you??" Bodie called eagerly as he waited at her door, nose pressed against it and all!

A weird sound came out of the guitar as she jumped up when hearing B's voice. Damn it, what is he doing here? What do I do? I can deny the whole thing. She quickly hid her guitar behind the couch but forgot her notebook with lyrics. Then she turned on the acoustic cd of one of the unknown artists she had found on the internet. Rather awkward she pretended to read a book "Come in B. The door is open I think"
A lot of shame come over her. She should've been more careful. What was he gonna say? Would he believe her if she said it wasn't her? No he probably wouldn't, she wasn't good enough. Why was she freaking out about all of this? She was normally so confident, didn't care what people thought of her. Even so, she didn't really let things like that get to her, but the singing thing... it was a touchy subject. She hoped he would play it of cool and not make a too big a deal out of it.

A series of expressions swept across Bodie's face as he heard her fumbling around. Was that a guitar?? He pressed his ear against the door, trying to listen in for more and also waiting for her to respond. "Tay?? Hey, you okay in there??" his hand grasped the doorknob, in case he needed to, y'know, bust in?? If it was mandatory?? But when she finally called back he was a bit relieved and his shoulders, that he didn't even know had stiffened, fell. "Uh, alright, I'm coming in," he twisted the doorknob and made his way in.
Everything was like he remembered. Not too fancy, but not sloppy either. There were only a few cups sitting on the counters as he strode past the kitchen. The smell of her house was also familiar. Was it strange that he knew what his friend smelt like? Probably.
B peeked around the corner into the living room, finding Taylor sitting on the couch in the process of reading a book. He was yet to question the sounds he heard and half of him wanted to assume that it was just the CD, however in seeing the her lyric book splayed on the coffee table it couldn't really be questioned. "So you, uh.. Have a thing for music," he couldn't help the grin that had shown on his lips.
Tay? A musician? How awesome would that be?!

Taylor started nervously laughing. "Psh what? Nooo! You've heard me before on karaoke-night. I can't sing a note." Her face was tense and her palms sweaty. Her eyes caught B. looking at the notebook and immediatly she knew it was too late. Even if she wanted too, she could never safe herself or hide the fact that she played guitar.
"Fine, you got me." A big sigh followed her face getting serious. Her eyes narrowed as she obsered B., she didn't like the grin on his face. "Please don't make a big deal out of it. Okay?" After standing up, she put away her notebook and got 2 bottles of water from the fridge and threw one towards her best friend.
If there was one thing Bodie was good at it was making big deals out of things. Sometimes he was more of a drama queen then Tay was. And it annoyed her, especially with something like this. "Look, I'm not any good so its stupid to tell anyone. Okay?"

B could only watch her skeptically as she treated the talent like some illegal drug. Anyone would easily throw a title over themselves as a good musician, something Tay had every right and talent to do, but instead she was hiding it. Where did she expect to go with this if she only kept it to herself? Gifts like that aren't even meant to be restrained, and, believe it or not, this made Bodie a slightly.. disappointed. How long would it have been before she shared with her best friend that she like to sing? Had she really not trusted him with something as simple as that?
"I'm not-I'm not," Bodie quickly retorted, catching the bottle over his head. "But, hey, from what I heard out there you sounded pretty good. Why keep it a secret?" It was no more or no less of a genuine question, and even his expression was a bit concerned if not completely indulged in the topic. His large hand masked over the top of the cold bottle, twisting quickly with a snap before his grip loosened and he unscrewed the cap.
"You know, you're really good at dissing yourself," the blonde grinned as he tilted his head back for a drink. Three large gulps and less than half of the bottle was left.
