Viktor Carson (played anonymously)

Viktor watched as Jennine took up her sniper’s position picking off demons through well-known weak spots and as Artemis began to lay suppressive fire. Viktor nodded to his instructions from Hunter, “Fill in the gaps and cut them to pieces…” Viktor repeated as confirmation before he strode towards the nearest holes in the wall and awaited any demon who was foolish enough to approach. As good as Artemis was with a gun Viktor was just as effective with his blades, hopefully Artemis wouldn't see this as a competition – soldiers tended to get sloppy when they played games like that in the heat of battle. Viktor at times would stand back to back with Artemis to protect his blind spots which a few demons had already attempted to exploit through nearby holes in the wall he stood by, only to end up as a kebab on the end of Viktor’s sword.

“Watch your six, this is the seventh time I've saved you backside from being a demon’s scratching post.” Viktor said one time as he was back to back with Artemis. While Viktor had the same blind spots as anyone else he moved a lot more often to keep those spots difficult to take advantage of. Viktor traveled up and down the walls of the building stabbing, slashing, dismembering, eviscerating and finishing off any demon that thought it could get in.
Dean king (played by Ambrosia)

Dean got down on one knee as he got into position, Jennine and hunter stood behind him killing the ones afar whilst he shot the ones that got close with his shotgun. They seemed to thin out eventually and Dean was itchy for some up-close and personal.

"Hey, I'm going to conserver some ammo" he said as he threw his shotgun over his shoulder and took hold of the sword that slept in it's sheath. Dea had rigged his sword to gather energy from his suit so that the blade's edge would heat up and slice cleanly through his opponents though, that meant sheathing the sword numerous times. Good thing he had mastered the art of Iaido.

Dean waited for the last few Demons to get close before he ripped his Combat Sword tightly. A demon leapt at him and swung at him with sharp claws. Dean quickly drew his blade and sliced one of its arms clean off then sliced its head in two. A few more followed it and he moved between them almost as if he were dancing, charging his blade every time it was sheathed and dropping them one after another. after this wave they'd have a few seconds of rest before the next
Jennine (played by Tolora)

Jennine picked off demons farther off and had to trust Dean to take care of the ones that managed to slip through. She didn't know anything about him since they hadn't trained together but he was holding his own well. She nodded when he mentioned conserving ammo. She always made sure she had extra. Getting in close didn't exactly appeal to her, though she'd received the same basic training as the rest of them and could defend herself if a closer fight was necessary.

"Reloading." She said over the intercoms when the first wave had dissipated. She took advantage of the lull between waves to glance at the rest of her comrades and see how they were doing. It looked like Artemis and Viktor had the same idea of one person using a farther range gun and another using close-range weapons. She looked back to see the second wave of demons approaching. Back to work. She thought as she lifted the gun back up to her shoulder and stared down the sights.
Hunter Archill (played anonymously) Topic Starter

((Sorry Tolora, I was wrong when I PMed you about your turn, I saw my OOC post and accidentally went from there. I should also say Hunter's anger is not my own, it's just how he would respond.))

Aim, pull trigger, kill, readjust aim, pull trigger kill. Hunter continued this method of extermination as the demon horde thinned. He could hear a supernatural custodian behind them defending the smaller openings in the ruined house, and he could hear the SMGs next to him from another supernatural custodian. At least they can listen to orders, Hunter thought. Then he heard sniper fire and a supernatural custodian ran out from the building. Too soon. The music died out over the comms and Hunter let it stay off. Only muffled gunfire and screams of rage and pain were constantly reaching the ears of the custodians.

Hunter's rifle ran dry and he quickly pulled another magazine out, then a bit later pulled another out. Finally the last demon fell and Hunter remained posed to resume the firing for a few moments. Then, slowly, he stood up. He was silent as he gazed through the orange visor at the rookies under his command. Hunter stood there a moment, then walked out of the building to the clearing just outside of it. "Form up!" He shouted over the comms, his voice barely concealing the anger behind it.

Then, without warning, he started shouting. "If any of you think that you can ignore orders then you better start walking away from the mission right now! My report on how well you do on this mission is the last factor that decides if you are done training or not. So if any of you pull a stunt like that again, I'll have you put back through training all over again, or I'll have you guarding one of our facilities. Guarding facilities are not fun, and you don't get gear like this," his hand balled into a fist and he quickly powered up the energy manipulation system and sent a small amount of semi-transparent green energy out a few inches around his arm plating. "And trust me, no gear fighting a werewolf is suicide. Trust me, I've seen it." He fell silent again.

"Now," his voice a bit calmer now, "are we clear on who is in charge? Or do I need to call in superior officers, who I should mention sign our checks, to take you off the mission?"
After Viktor had made the remark to him, 'not paying attention', Artemis spun around and shot two bullets under his arms nailing two demons between the eyes. "I'm good at holding my own." Turning back he continued shooting. After the hordes dissipated, Artemis could hear the anger rising in Hunter, he waited for his explosion. Hearing him rant about not following orders, he grinned, he followed orders, so it was directed to him. "Yes sir." Speaking slyly, he spun the SMG's in his palm and latched them back to his armor. Cleaning globs of blood for his armor, he flicked it onto the ground. Under his visor he glared at Jean. He said stay back and shoot. This is directed mainly at you. Shrugging his shoulders unnoticeably, he didn't think it would affect the mission much. But it would put him on Hunter's bad side, a side that people don't want to be on.

Reaching up past his shoulders, he unsheathed his blades, the weapon he was most comfortable with. It had just become a reaction from training to immediately go into close-combat after long range. At least for him that's what they did. Jennine's strong point was definitely her aim, she was a flawless sniper, definitely excelled in long-ranged combat. Artemis was a evened at each, but definitely more comfortable with his blades. Although he excelled in combat, he was just slightly behind in his mental status. He was trigger-happy. The other two had a little more sense of when combat was needed. But Viktor, he was definitely suspicious of Viktor. He was just randomly assigned to the mission without the others informed? Although he was also training for Supernatural Custodian, he was still not trusting him. He didn't know anything about him, only his name.
Viktor Carson (played anonymously)

Viktor merely grinned inside his helmet and sliced the heads off between the joints in the demon's hide, he wanted to be on the safe side. He would be lying if he said he wasn't at least mildly enjoying this opportunity to be out of the facility where the custodians were trained. Viktor stood at attention when Hunter had told then to line up with his weapons safely put away and his hands respectfully to his sides with his back in perfect posture.

Viktor said nothing through the entire lecture, he remained perfectly in line with the other soldiers and would not speak until directly spoken to or told 'at ease' or 'speak freely'. Viktor knew these words were not for him but Viktor couldn't help but feel slightly responsible for not calling Dean back, or at least making an attempt to stop him from being so careless in not heeding Hunter's directions. But this didn't mean Viktor was going to intentionally stick his neck out for this guy - he didn't know a single one of them beyond what info the higher ups had given him on each of them and even then it wasn't much more than data.

"Sir yes sir!" Viktor replied to Hunter as if the phrase itself was ingrained into him. "You are in charge, no need for you to call upon the higher ups, sir."

After that comment Viktor muted his voice output on his helmet and Viktor began to play his own music in the background, but not enough to overpower the smallest of external noises. Viktor would await further instructions from Hunter in silence.
Jennine (played by Tolora)

Jennine stopped firing when Hunter called for them to form up. He definitely sounded mad. She took one last glance at the battleground filled with demon gore to make sure nothing was coming before hurrying to do so. She stood still as Hunter yelled at them for not obeying orders. They were supposed to act as a unit on the field, not just a collection of individuals. It didn't matter that she'd been following orders if the whole group didn't.

"Yes sir!" The last thing she wanted was the higher ups to get involved like this. She had to pass this mission. She stood at attention and held her rifle at her side, awaiting Hunter's next orders.
Dean king (played by Ambrosia)

Dean knew that the source of Hunter's rage was his carelessness. Dean was hesitant to say anything, instead he stood there in a slouch and saluted after Hunter was done "aye captain" he said sheathing his blade "but instead of, ya know, threatening us, why don't we find a safe place to gather ourselves before the next wave?"

Hunter pulled out his pistol, aimed it with one hand somewhere to the side, and executed a dying demon. "Relax tinkerbell, the bulk of their forces are in the cave. We're waiting for a special something before we head down." A blip appeared on everyone's HUD. It was similar to how other custodians appeared, but this one was moving very fast.

"Here it comes," Hunter added with a smile. Moments later a crate crashes into a nearby tree, taking it out and then coming to a stop against a few stronger trees. "Restock your ammo, then we head down." He motioned toward the supply crate.
Viktor Carson (played anonymously)

Viktor stepped forward first and took a blade sharpener for his knife and sword as well as a four extra magazines for his high caliber sniper rifle. After magnetically attaching them to his hips and thighs Viktor strode off to a ledge that he could lean against to hand sharpen his blades while the other took their pick of goodies. All this was done without speaking a word. Viktor wasn't one to speak if he didn't need to, so he kept to himself unless someone approached him - often times that made him seem distant and kind of a jerk.

Viktor looked on into the distance where the intel he had been given told where the demon cave was, Viktor detached the scope from his rifle and tried use it to get a better look from this distance over and across the dense forest before them.

((Yes, yes it has. The RP is part way over already. The cave is where the big fight, then the surprise random fight, then the 'There go my undies' battle, then the end of the RP.))
Viktor Carson (played anonymously)

((OOC : WAIT WHAT?!!? Did I miss the part where all this happened on a new thread? If so, how did I not find out about this? If not, why has this place been so dead?))
Hunter Archill (played anonymously) Topic Starter

((Mhm, the entire RP is this one trial mission. I was looking for some peeps to call back for some actual missions. Hunter's squad lost a member in a massive fire fight with anther organization and I was going to see if any of the recruits that passed the trial were interested, thus starting another story!))
Viktor Carson (played anonymously)

((I see, so what are your plans right now for this one?))
Dean king (played by Ambrosia)

(I'm still up for it :) ))
Hunter Archill (played anonymously) Topic Starter

((Current plans are nothing right now. I wasn't aware there was interest in this anymore. If everyone is still interested then we can revive it, is only some are then we could do a restart with interested members.))
Dean king (played by Ambrosia)

(( No Restart, Let's just carry on or cut to a different part, later on))
Viktor Carson (played anonymously)

((I agree, lets keep going!!!))
Jennine (played by Tolora)

((Glad I got on and looked around today! I'm still in too))
