Philomela's question drew several solid seconds of silence. "I gave everything for them... and all it did was destroy their natural beauty. I took my fall from grace, rather than needing a push. I appreciate their company and their attributes. I could go on for days over my appreciation of the way they live their lives and grow. Loving a woman brought me to earth to begin with." He dwindled, thinking of her own wordings.
"The troubles he and I come across are inevitable. Know the offer is there, and brings me no burden. Part of that admiration comes with the human ability to alter their own path. With most of us, there are only a few distinct angles we can travel. Far be it from us to influence where you want to go."

Draeval looked at Luci, "If...you wish to call it that name. Then I suppose yes." It did make sense considering who all was there but he hadn't thought of it that way before.
Luci's asking questions and he gave a shake of his head, "No blame, no judgement, and no information to it. Can't change it, needs to happen." He smiled, "See, you really are a wise old cock." Ahem.
He nodded, "I've been living in the stalls near Philomela. I'll be there." The bird!Luci flew off and Drae sighed, pulled out his phone and text Gabe. Once he sent it he'd return to the stalls.

Philomela looked up when he was quiet, fearful that she'd offended him. She was just about to start apologizing when he spoke. "I'm not sure I understand..." As for the woman, she'd smile, "She must have been something special."
As for the offer, she'd nod, "I still thank you. I...we'll see. I'd rather not abandon the quest entirely. It bothers me that someone out there would do something like this, and I want to set it right if I can. After that...who knows. Maybe I will just follow lord Hermes about like a lost puppy. He certainly does visit some interesting places."

Luci was due to be out for a good, long while--wandering the undefined halls of akasha. At least there was something he could see with his own eyes.
As for Philomela and Ash, he shifted his legs and re-crossed his hoofish legs. "She was. Many men wanted her. I lost the better part of my mind over her. I told many things her people were not ready for... and it nearly destroyed them. Actually... it did destroy them. I imagine you've heard of the flood." The greek rendition varied, but still told of Zeus, in the very least, sending a great deluge. "Abandon nothing you have your heart in. Do what makes you right with yourself. Often, that's a difficult choice to ultimately make. And if you can't keep up as Via's pup, you could always see about being mine."
Okay, not entirely subtle.

Draeval came in at the mention of Zeus but didn't interrupt, just silently walked into his stall. If he got a text back he'd respond to it while he was out of sight. But otherwise he remained quiet.
Philomela went quiet as he spoke, "Ah..." She seemed a bit more subdued, and then she'd ask, "Would you change things? If you could?"
Her own destiny was a bit more muddled than that, "It's still a ways off. I have some time to decide. Though I'm sure either choice would require much thought." She just wanted to focus on one task at a time at least, and then think about other things. "Sometimes, I wonder if I give up following that path...would I lose my gift?" She did enjoy it, it made her special in a way. She'd look up when Draeval came in, but he seemed to want to be left alone.

He stared dully ahead at that. "Perhaps. But then we would not be where we are now. The world would be in an entirely different state. If I retracted that, you, my dear, might not even be here. As for her, he stared dully ahead. "Perhaps. But it does stand to reason that you had your ability before training under him. You had made no choice to follow anyone, and you had a gift; you simply honed it and, having an aptitude, became a vessel. Of course, I could be wrong. Beyond that, his visions..." He paused, then stared ahead. Draeval might think he was looking at him, but it was more a matter of trying to see past mental veils. "Well, perhaps I shouldn't get into that."
Draeval was responding with a series of texts to Gabe and then he's rummaging through hay before he hears Ash stop on his account. "Don't worry Lord, I believe it or not can be trusted. But if you'd prefer I can make myself scarce, I didn't wish to interrupt."
Philomela thought about it, "I still don't have complete control over it. It seems to come on when it feels like it, and I can't ever remember what I say. I used to imagine that when I was the Oracle, I'd have a scribe to write things down and then I would always know. Who knows how many prophesy's I made on the road with nobody around to hear them."
She'd tilt her head, "Why not?" She really doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, hopefully he won't get angry with her.

Ash seemed surprised. "...I wasn't even aware you'd returned." He admitted.
Philomela detailed her trouble. "Automatic writing may one day be useful to you. Do not forget, you know several timeless scribes. I imagine by now you're at least vaguely aware of it." He wasn't there to see Ferous clear out the library with a simple gesture, but... that wasn't even the only of it. "Voice your need to them and they might write it for you."
...The rest left him perpetually staring. "My personal drama needn't burden you." Of course, that might seem really disjointed considering it was over someone else's visions.

Draeval paused, "Oh...my apologies." He was blushing which Philomela could see but Ash wasn't able to. He tucked his head and went back to what he was doing before he spoke with Ash. Translating, cataloging, and emailing. Running a business from Ancient Egypt, yep that's Drae.
Philomela seemed surprised, "Do you really think so?" The idea obviously excited her very much. She hadn't really thought of asking for a favor before, mostly because Athena seemed to dislike her greatly, no matter what she did.
As for the rest of it, Philomela's brow furrowed, "I don't understand..." She really didn't get what was going on with all that, and he didn't seem to want to be pressed about it.
She'd look over at Draeval, "You could join us again if you'd like. If you sit just to the outside of the stall, there is plenty of room." Seeing as Ash had said his lap would be uncomfortable.

"You've apologized for your first trespass, no need to continue." Philomela earned a nod. "I do." His answer was simple.
The rest drew an empty stare. "Now might I ask why my processing ability is being applied to searches involving Ragnarok?" He asked aloud--likely confusing Philomela. Yes. There's a definite connection going on. Considering the balance wasn't out of wack and the moon was in one piece even if hidden, they weren't visually glued together but that didn't mean the bindings that blinded them didn't exist. Not like Philomela knew what Ragnarok meant. Rightfully, he shouldn't yet. And yet...

Draeval had ducked out of sight before he was addressed again and he popped up rather...comically actually like a prairie dog, but that didn't mean the humor would be noted by these two. "I uh...um..."
He sighed and came out to sit a bit away from the opening of the stall they were in. "It is the closest event in my timeline, the largest and easiest to track. It was very close to my...well my disappearance in my own time."

Philomela was happy with that bit of information, "I don't think Lord Athena likes me much though...but I'll ask." Ash is then speaking to Draeval, and Philomela is once more confused. She didn't know what that was, and so she chose to listen for now, rather than ask questions. The questions she had might even answer themselves if she listened for long enough.
"Hn... and here I imagined it to come sooner than that. I'll take it as good news." He dismissed it on a surface level. Still, Draeval earned more pensive thought. Though he spoke to Mela, it came with a detached tone, thoughts divided. "People often assume Popul is not fond of them. It's simply her way. Via and Populus are in fact very close, and you should see how she treats him." It came with a glib tone in spite of the strange haunting of Ragnarok nearby. "...Ngh, I'm trying to keep from absorbing too much of what he finds right now, but it seems I don't have much choice." Some things are just better to not know. "...What is a jet?" Random data overload.
Draeval smiled softly, "All things come in time, things like that...hopefully not again." He stretched a bit as the two talked but smiled again when he talked about Luci and Fer. When the conversation came back to him he chuckled, "Uh...imagine a crane, large enough to hold many people and fly over vast distances. And that would be sort of a jet."
Philomela thought about it, "I see..." Though she didn't seem entirely convinced that Athena didn't like her. Still conversation is moving on, and Ash speaks a strange word.
Draeval's description has her eyes going comically wide, "And it doesn't eat them!?" She seems very surprised, and more than a little disturbed.

"...Yes, Populus is trying to explain it as well. I see." Between the two of them some form of understanding was met. "So it is something in your time? Then he is getting there. Simply--" He dropped off mid sentence, staring ahead dumbly.
"...Thank you for staying near, Draebal. I was harsh with you and you stayed close, I imagine more for her benefit than for mine. It has left me comfortable to stay and speak with her as I desire to... as I am prone to other desires that could impact her--though if it is over her powers, she and I have discussed that for other reasons."
