Contrary to what he is advertising himself as, Mordreth has no actual need to work. As a Warlord's sole heir, he is set to inherit the northern territories of Drasmyr, along with any conquered territories that come into his father's possession. There are several plots that can come of this;

♦ Contracts. Simple; your character is looking for a sellsword, be it to accompany them on a dangerous journey, or to serve as a bodyguard. He can also retrieve not just any items lost or stolen, but individual's as well.

♦ Training. He has spent over just over two decades of his life in martial training, and thus has become quite the adept swordsman, even if not quite to Blademaster level. He can give consultations on battle strategies and sieges, as well as giving individuals' armed and unarmed combat training.

♦ Recognition. Given how far he has travelled, the likelihood that he would ever encounter someone from one of the territories that his father conquered would be slim, but interesting all the same, hence why I am listing it. Recognition can also cover not just those conquered in the Denaithian name, but perhaps a defector, old friend, rival soldier from another culture and so forth. Also in the time it took for him to travel from his home to where he stays now, there are plenty of possibilities for people he met along the way.

♦ Arranged Marriage. Given Mordreth's rather traditionally-rooted background, it is expected of him that even before he assume's his father's role, he will marry and produce at least one son. This is not something that he is naturally looking forward to, for more than one reason - he is quite determined to stall this for as long as possible. This would, of course, irk his father, thus arranging a match for him given the event that he does not take a more active role in the decision making. This storyline would likely involve unrequited emotions (on her part), denial (on his) and yet a begrudging acceptance of responsibility. Female humanoid preferred, and given his rank, only one of noble origin. I would prefer for this RP to happen over Furcadia only.

♦ Darker Influences. In relation to the aforementioned plot device of his geas, I am interested in exploring darker influences that he may turn to out of desperation to either rid himself of the geas, to muffle it or to help him in fulfilling what it compels him to do. Individuals under the influence of darker gods or beings, magic users of a more malevolent inclination, warlords... the list is quite endless. I will be selective with this however.

I will RP via PMs and Closed Threads, I have no significant preference.

I'd be interested in the arranged marriage one, but I barely know what furcadia is... and don't have an account... or whatever. I don't even know how the site works...

I think darker influences would be cool, I've got a character that might be able to work with it.

Mm, some possibilities I can think of...

Recognizing him from the past could give Elodar a reason to pay any attention to him (though Elodar is certainly not a well-developed character).

He could take a job tracking down Raven, since she's an escaped slave. Julian is possible too, being a thief, but I don't really see much coming from that for some reason.

Maybe Kyra (or Sari, if you care to deal with a whole clan) could help him see women as potentially more useful than he grew up thinking.

Or for darker influences, Taryn can sometimes be patient, so long as she doesn't get too bored.

Raven looks the most interesting, out of those offered. Although in truth, they're all interesting, haha.

I would be interested in the darker influences one, Or maybe the contracts one as a back up. I would use my character Melstrum for both of those ones which ever you decide on if any. Dark influence would be best but contracts would be a sort of back stabbing kind of thing. Tel me if you have an interest in this.

Hmm, well, I can always post first to open the scene perhaps for how he got hired. While he is normally played in an 18+ OOC/16+ IC 'dream' on Furcadia usually, it's not unrealistic to think that he wouldn't journey to other places if news of a potential contract came up, or he was specifically requested by someone.

If you mean like a single universe sorta. He is used in more brutal fantasy and warhammer 40K and fantasy themed rp's. If that is what you mean?

Ah ok. Well Falderan could be used if I play him as a thief or knight? Juat checking to see if he would be ok. I under stand either way

I prefer characters' that are 'set' in setting, so changing Falderan from a Sith Lord to a thief or knight would kind of defeat the purpose
