Hi so my name's Melinda and I'd like to get to know some of you and possibly how to add my character's info.

Presuming you've created your character already, just click your Dashboard and then the pencil beside your character's name (in the "Your Characters" box). The rest is up to you; ya can use the wizard or creat your own profile to your liking manually.
Probably want to check out the Help area as well before delving too deeply, specifically the Site and Forum Rules, as well as the Getting Started sections.
