♣ Setting and important details ♣
This roleplay will be played out in a petty standard modern, real life setting, but have a good deal of fantasy and supernatural elements involved. One example of this is the fact that none of the playing characters are truly human.
As written in the description this is a yaoi rp, but the relationships in this rp will most likely come into existence pretty late in the rp. Simply put, we'll try to make the relationships come into existence naturally without 'yaoi cliches'.
Another important detail is the fact that the beginning of the rp was played privately, via messages between Reven and Ace Thoring so this rp is picking up from where it was left of there.
This is an open rp, so if you think that your character might suit the setting you are welcome to join.
But beware, this rp will contain swearing.

Following Aces example Reven gets out of the car. He then proceeds to walk towards a flashy, red sign saying; morning menu from 8 am to 11 am. Clumsily fishing out his phone from his back pocket, he then checks the time, seeing 10.00 am written in white numbers at the top of the small flat screen. When walking into the retro diner his nostrils are assaulted by the strong and potent smell of coffee. He has always been more of a tea lover, so he never harboured any warm feeling towards the dark coca brew that most of his acquaintances seemed to adore as if it was some elixir of bliss, but there was no denying that the smell was refreshing. Finding an empty corner in the crowded space he takes a seat, briefly wondering if Ace prefers coffee or tea, before taking a good look at the diners interior. "The barista seems to be busy taking orders from other tables." He points out nodding toward the other side of the crowded structure, where a young girl in a frilly, green dress was making an amazing feat of not loosing a single item from two tire sized plates, all while maneuvering herself trough the dense jungle of tables, chairs and people.
Ace nodded," Yeah this lace can get pretty busy." He took a seat in the booth across from Reven and picked up a menu. He remebered the diner from when it first opened; the owner and their wife cooking for the heck of it with a big smile and jokes to fill up the costumers spirets, while letting collage kids work part time to help pay off loans. It was nice to see that the warm and inviting atmosphere of the place hadn't worn down with age like the building. Going back to reality Ace looked through the menu already knowing what he wanted." I think I'm getting the blueberry pancakes." Ace said closing his menu.
Being a rather picky eater Reven had to take a good look at the menu before eventually settling for the same main dish as Ace, but not without adding something of his own choosing "I guess I'll also order the blueberry pancakes, with some green tea and a side dish of of some sort of ice cream." looking up from the menu he then asks."Are you sure you only want the pancakes? I don't have any plans for the rest of the day, so we might as well stay for a while."
Looking around he sees that the waitress is still busy at the other side of the room. At least this gives him some time to take a better look at the diners selection of ice creams and desserts, before choosing his side dish. Should he rather go for a milkshake? It would be kinda strange, considering the fact that he also intends to order green tea, but he doubts Ace would care to much. Letting out a small sight at his indecisiveness he decides to just ask the waitress of what she recommends when ordering.

Ace nodded thoughfully," I guess some mint tea and....a muffin would be nice. Or Germen chocalate cake....." He could feel some drool going down his face. Quickly he wiped it off, his cheeks tinting a slight pink. " You know Reven...you should be carfully knowing that you can change. I mean you said that there was a hunter that shot the thing that attacked you, corrct?" Ace questioned, though he was pretty sure that was the story. It would be best to warn his er...friend(?)...of some of the dangers of his new life style. Also Ace had been becomng a bit atached to Reven. It was nice to have someone to talk to who was dead and going to the afterlife. Or who had a stick up their butt. He smirked slightly at that thought, someone with a stick up their butt. He supposed he had one up his then too, after all reapers weren't the best company and sure as hell wasn't any exception.
Aha! So Ace was more of a tea person! Reven silently thought to himself before answering. "Did I? Oh well, what I meant to say was 'shot at'. I think the 'hunter' did get a shot at it, but it didn't kill it. The shot made it flee." Evaluating for a second he then continues." Besides, the transformation didn't feel random at all, so I don't think I'll transform without a warning anytime soon. Before transforming I somehow 'felt' that it was gonna happen. I'm not sure how to describe the feeling, but I think I can trust my gut on this one. What else is there to-..." Reven never gets to complete his sentence, as he is suddenly startled by by an unmistakably female voice sneaking up from behind him. "Can I take your orders?"
"Yes. I'll have some mint tea and bluberry pancakes plaease." Ace said. The Waitress nodded and turned to Reven. Ace took the time to look out the window. It seemed Reven had things under control, witch was good. He could probably leave now with out anything to worry about. He mentally nodded and his attention went to looking at all the passing cars and trucks on the rode. They drove by wizzing down fast in a blur of red, blue, black, siver, rown, and sometimes a yellow or green. He looked back at Reven, he was acting so normal about the changes in his life. It was really...admirable...and kind of stupid, he thought to himself with afection. He really has gotten attached a bit, but for hs own sake he'll just ignore that attachment because he knows he'll have to leave Reven behind or else go rouge. And that is something he to trubblesome to deal with. No way does he want to run from reaper society for the rest of his imortal life!
" The same as him, but with green tea and some vanilla ice cream." Reven blurs out as he recovers from his surprised state. How in the depths of hell had the girl gotten from that side of the room to theirs so fast? Speedwalking through a crowd of that caliber in less than two minutes just didn't seem humanly possible... Oh well, at the end of it, it didn't really matter. They had given their orders, the girl had left and they would soon eat some yummy pancakes. For now that was the only thing that mattered, or at least, close to the only thing that mattered. He still had to decide on if he should take on the new project, concerning the graphic novel, and just how dangerous his new 'condition' was. The first importance could still wait for a while, but he knew that the second had to be dealt with as soon as possible. He needed outside help to understand what was happening to him. Sure, the chances of him transforming without warning were pretty low if things went the same way as yesterday, but there was no denying the graveness of his situation. It was relatively safe to assume that the beast that had attacked him, was at some point human. So why had it attacked him? Was it in control of itself while doing so, or was it in some sort of frenzy? If so, would he fall victim to the same frenzy? What if his human state during his transformation was only temporary and he was slowly turning into the very thing that had caused him so many nightmares for the past few days? But where could he find somebody who could tell him? Ace didn't know much about his 'condition' himself, that was for sure, but maybe he knew somebody who knew? Still, the only thing Reven knew for sure, was the fact that if things were left unattended, they could go horribly wrong, and he needed to find some good excuses to leave crowded areas when 'the feeling' arouse in the future.
'Well he's deep in thought.' Ace thought looking over at Reven. It wasn't like he cared about Reven or what the red head was thinking about he was just a little courious. Or at least thats what he kept on telling himself. Sighing, he took out his phone and checked his list of dead guys souls to let out a retrive. So far he only had twenty,it wasn't much which ment there was a reaper or two in the area. That was both good and bad. Good, because he'd have less work to do. Bad, because if he was seen with Reven it would deffenatly cause unwanted drama. He'd have to keep his eyes pealed for them. Putting his phone away he turned back to Reven.
"If you think too hard your forhead will get too big." He comented while lightly flicking Reven in a playful mannor.
"If you think too hard your forhead will get too big." He comented while lightly flicking Reven in a playful mannor.
Suddenly ambushed by a light flick to his forehead he can't help but to blink a couple of times before ending his train of thoughts with a simple conclusion: Ace had done more than enough for him. He should rather try to solve this on his own, instead of asking the man for help only hell knows which time."I thank thy for thy concerns, but I am afraid that thy concerns are wasted. the head of a homosapiens cannot preform such deformations with thought as a cause." He answers in a particular theatrical fashion, letting a big smirk surface on his face. His problems could wait for a little while. He should just enjoy the moment with his newfound friend. After All, there was no guarantee that this wouldn't be their last time together. To be honest, he had started to enjoy the mans company and he didn't exactly look forward to parting ways him. He'd probably even miss the charmers rough humor, which sadly seemed to mostly be about insulting him.
Ace looked at Reven like he'd grown five heads," And what time period are you from? Because 'thy' is pretty sure that your speaking giberish." Ace smirked back at Reven.
Finally their food came and the waitress dropped it off with an "Enjoy" before going to attend another table. Ace's sirk then turned into a smile as he poured a ton of surup on his pancakes and digged in.
" So where are you going after this? Staying in town or doing that free lance artist thing?" Ace asked between mouthfulls of pancake.

Answering, Raven corrects Aces misunderstanding concerning his job. "Being a freelance artist allows me to do my job from wherever there is a good internet connection. All I need is a means to communicate with my employer, my tools and a means to send my work. This means I can do my job from pretty much anywhere." Giving Ace a few seconds to take in the information he then continues. "And coming back to your original question, yes I think I might stay in town for a few days, but I'd like to put some distance between me and the area the attack took place at, so I'll have to leave eventually. Besides, I'm currently renting an apartment in Stavanger, so I'm mostly wasting money by traveling. I guess you could say I got the sudden urge to explore the world. When i was a kid, my family rarely left Norway." He admitted feeling slightly stupid.for his spontaneous behaviour. "You must think my reasoning behind traveling is childish." He nervously added, throwing a pair of sugar cubes into his tea.
" Not really. Some times you have to get out and see the world." Ace said finishing his pancakes. He thought for a moment. Reven was going to stay for a few days then. He probably had nothing to do then...and Ace had heard that there was a fair in town. He woundered if Reven liked those kinds of things. He should probably ask.
" You know there's a fair around here." Ace said as a conversation starter of sorts. He didn't think it was the best, but who knows.

"Weally? It's beewn a loowng timwe sinwce I've beewn at one. Fuwn things thowse." Reven comments mouth full of blueberry pancakes. Swallowing the remnants of the food in his mouth he continues. "I remember last time I was at one there was this gut wrenching ride with a 75 ° dive. Almost lost the contents of my stomach that day." When realizing that he might be wreaking his friends appetite he quickly apologies." Sorry, that ride might not be the best breakfast topic." He nervously chuckles while taking a tiny sip of his tea, hoping Ace didn't have a weak stomach. He didn't look like the type who did, but the artist would rather be safe than sorry. After All, he had this really buff cousin, who reeked of 'thug' atmosphere, but start talking about something even remotely disgusting and the guy would trow a tantrum as if he was some sort of hollywood diva.
"Don't worry I can handle topics like that while eating." Ace said. Well since Reven hadn't been to a fair in a while ce figured the red head would probably enjoy it if he was that kind of person. Deciding to at least ask Ace took one more sip of his tea before he brought up the question. "Do you want to go?" He knew it was a simple question, but a small fear nawed at him that Reven would say no. It was silly, and he didn't care too much about his new friend all that much. He couldn't, but no matter how ofter he repeated that same thing in his head he always found himself caring anyways.
Reven had to think for a moment before answering. He had to do some serious research and find somebody with reliable information concerning his new 'condition', but a trip to the fair shouldn't take more than 2 hours, maybe 4 if it was a big one. He doubted missing some hours wouldn't be worth a pleasant time, after all, those had been quite rare since the beast attack. Firstly he had been downright paranoid of leaving the motel he had been staying at, and when he finally thought things had started to get better, he had ended up with a steaming fever which had forced him into searching for the nearest hospital. Reven had been lucky that Ace had picked him up when his car stopped working and actually brought him to the hospital. There was no denying that they had gotten of with a bad, if not horrible start, and Reven was actually quite happy with the fact that they had finally gotten on the same wave and stopped arguing. He was actually considering the man a friend now, and spending some good time with a friend seemed just to be to tempting of an offer, even during circumstances like these. Or maybe it was exactly because of circumstances like these that he needed the company? " Sure, I'm free anytime." He said, pulling out a pen and notebook from his jacket, scribbling something down, before handing it over. "My number, so I don't have to do your little ritual to summon you." He commented, remembering Aces joke of a ritual, which he got as an answer when asking him for his number.
((Sorry I haven't been getting back in a few days.))
Ace put up his hands in defence,"Ok ok. But you may find yourself saying it one of these days." He had a small smirk on his face. He was sad his companion seemed to have to go after this, but he understood. He should probably be giving Reven the toe truck lace's adress and number. After all Reven did have his car to worry abot still. Scribbling down the adress of ware the toe truck was and the name of the place with the number on a napkin he handed it to Reven. "A fair trade I'd say."

"A fair trade indeed." Reven answers after taking a quick look at the napkin while planning out a rough schedule for the rest of the day. Firstly, he had to get his car, see how much he had to pay, and then he had to find out if there were any more costs concerning his hospital visit. Come to think of it. Technically speaking his insurance company should cover both of the expenses, but he wasn't sure of how that worked so he added contacting the insurance company to his schedule. Sighting to himself he mumbles. "This is gonna a tiresome day." In the end, his schedule ends up somewhat like this; firstly call the insurance company, then get his car back, pay for all his expenses and wait for the insurance company to hopefully pay him back for said expenses. At least he was pretty sure that was how those companies worked.
"Can I borrow your phone? I need to call my insurance company, but the battery on mine is flat." Reven asks, mentally cursing himself for forgetting his phone charger inside his car. Not that it was something strange considering the condition he was in when leaving the vehicle, but couldn't lady luck have some mercy on him?

"Sure." Ace said. He handed Reven his phone. While he let his friend talk to someone over the phone Ace paid the bill. Ace then got another tea while he waited for Revento finish using his hone. He might as well and he had a feeling that this would take a while.
Finally getting all his questions concerning his insurance answered, Raven hands Ace his phone. Smiling brightly as he had found out that both the expenses used on his hospitalization and tow truck services would most likely be paid back.
"Thanks for letting me borrow your phone."
Still, as caught up as he had been in his conversation, Reven had failed notice that Ace had already paid for their breakfast. This resulted in giving him quite the surprise when asking the waitress for the
tab, only to find out that it had been paid for.
