A seemingly normal high school named Westerfield High. With almost normal students.

The school seems to be harboring some disguised superhumans in their midst. Angels, mages, and more. An uprising of dark angels are slowly creeping closer to the students, biding their time. Who can they entrust their ethereal secret to? And who should they avoid?

Carmen, a witch in disguise was shy about joining her new school.She was scared that this dimension was just like the dimension she was born in.She went through the school doors.

Camille sat against a vacant wall, unaware (or, more realistically, not caring) that she was taking up a large amount of space in the front lobby. Her books and supplies were sprawled across the floor in a misshapen "pile". Her legs were straight out against the tile flooring as she rocked her head back and forth to the sounds emitting from her headphones. Her lips moved to seemingly no particular rhythm as she emulated the words she heard. Man, she loved this song.

Her eyes raised slightly at the sight of Carmen entering, but she made no motion to greet her.

Seraphina twirled into the front lobby, holding a pair of books against her chest and a hanging satchel on her side. She spotted two girls, one standing and one sitting."Oh, hey there. You guys new here too?"

The black-haired girl was bobbing her head to a tune (which she realized she wouldn't get a response from using verbal contact) , while the purple one stood nervously. "Well, anyway, I'm Seraphina Evans. Nice to meet you."

She set her books into her satchel and pulled out a piece of paper, scribbling on it quickly then handing it to the black-haired one.

The note read what she said previously, and added also was "Can you take your headphones off and introduce yourself verbally? It's okay if you don't want to, you can write instead."

She tugged at her curls.

Carmen felt shy around Seraphina since she had just met her.

(Carmen)Nice to meet you..I'm Carmen..

Seraphina smiled, and glanced about. "I wonder when we'll be getting our schedules..." She wrapped her hands around the strap of her satchel. "Welp, anyway, I've signed up for the dorms. What about you, Carmen?"

(Nelis will be posting in the morning tomorrow, 10:54 PM where I am.)

Camille hadn't even noticed the second girl come in until she passed her a piece of paper. She read it quickly before pausing her music and lowering her headphones from her ears.

"Hey," she grumbled, clearly annoyed about being disturbed while listening to music. "I'm Camille..."

"Camille, eh? Reminds me of a vampire in a book..." Seraphina let go of her satchel strap and dusted off her shirt. "You can go back to listening your music now."

Seraphina turned back to Carmen. "Well, if you did sign up for dorms we may be able to share one, if you like."

Carmen's expression seemed uncertain. Seraphina smiled reassuringly, and added, "Don't worry, I won't bite. Unless of course you have brookies."

Camille's eyes narrowed at... what the hell was her name again? Oh. Right. Seraphina. Whatever. Camille wasn't very good with names unless she actually cared about the person, but such a case was seldom. Regardless, she didn't appreciate being told when to listen to her music. So, just to be spiteful in her own cynical way, she kept her headphones hanging around her neck.

"I signed up for dorms, too," she stated plainly. "No idea who I'm rooming with, but either way, it'll probably be a disaster. I have crappy luck with roommates."

(Carmen)Well I'm not exactly comfortable with people I don't know that well...but maybe we can still see each other at lunch or something...gotta go.

Carmen quickly walked away without making eye contact.

Seraphina's mood darkened a bit. "Yea...that's been a problem of mine also." She'd mostly get angry at her roommate..then they'd catch on fire. That caused several expels. Although it was fun and hilairious setting the jocks on fire for a while.

Seraphina sighed, and pulled out her sign-up form. "Well, it says you can choose your roommate or just stay alone, as long as the dorms don't fill up. I'm guessing that would probably be a better choice for me too."

She couldn't help it, she was fascinated by fire and created it. Seraphina thought it'd be best if no one got burned this time.

Camille was surprised to hear that Seraphina had difficulty with roommates. She seemed so nice and... nice. Didn't nice people get along better with their roommates? Or at least not have trouble with roommates who got freaked out when she had conversations with ghosts from students past? Camille was perplexed.

"Me staying alone would probably be better for everyone who could possibly be my roommate," she stated dryly. "Although, I'm worried about anyone else who has that same idea. Knowing my luck, I'll end up rooming with someone because too many people wanted to stay alone and the school ran out of space."

Veata walked across the street and looked up at the huge building, the sun almost seemed to radiate off the bricks just like the mountains at home... the mountains she might not ever see again.
Veata sighed and pushed the thought away, and carried walking up to the school, she pushed on of the huge doors open slightly, peering inside.there were a couple of students already in the building talking to one another . she smiled, this might be a good time to make new friends.

She rubbed her left arm, feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Well, I guess someone could share one...as long as they try not to make me mad.."

Seraphina sat down on a bench and pulled out a book, flipping through the pages and finally getting to her bookmark. She quieted down and started reading.

Dean walked in and saw two girls. He walked passed and smiled at them "Hey, I'm new here. Mind showing me where to sigh up for dorms?" He slung his bag over his shoulder and looked around. 'new schools suck, hopefully this on is better' he thought.

Camille tried not to laugh at Seraphina's remark. Honestly, the girl didn't seem that menacing. The prospect of her getting "angry" humored the young sorcerer. Exhausted of conversation options, she turned her attention to the boy addressing her.

"Hey," she greeted him evenly. "Sign-up sheets are down the hall. There's a big sign that says 'Sign-Up Sheets'." Her last remark was laced with condescension, but only detectable to the particularly observant.

She stuffed her dorm number sheet into her satchel and slid her book back into it. "The other sheets by the dorm sign-ups are for picking classes." Sera didn't add that hers had shown classes that weren't found in normal schools, when she clearly thought she saw the normal subjects in the paper from afar.

She checked her watch, seeing if she had enough time to run to the library after fixing up her dorm room. "Well, I gotta go, got some priorities to do! Seraphina Evans, by the way. I'll be back later." She exclaimed, and dashed off to the dorms.

Adam raised his eyebrows at Camille and laughed. "Thanks miss smart a**" he winked at her and signed up for a dorm "are these dorms mixed of is it boy girl dorms" Adam said looking to Camille and smiled wide. Camille had an attitude and Adam liked that.

Camille eyed Adam carefully as he signed up for a dorm. Oddly enough, his tone of speaking while uttering the words "smart ass" was not hostile, which she was prone to expect from others in response to her cynicism. She pretended to ignore his wink and instead gave her phone her attention while she spoke.

"Good question," she remarked. "I have no idea. All the dorms I've ever been in were gender-specific."
