I'm not sure why, but I'd rather roll out the cash for my animals than for myself.
I bought my dog a fab new collar with a mini bandanna on it today, and I'm screaming at how cute he looks~~
My gecko has also recently had a major home upgrade that cost £130 in total. Does anyone else find themselves spending loads on their pets? I just can't help myself, eek. They deserve it so much.
Also, as an extra, this is how my dog sleeps.
You may notice his tongue, which is so big he can't keep it fully in his mouth and so it hangs out a little bit all the time. We had to teach him the command "lick your lips" so that it didn't dry out from being out his mouth for so long.

Patrick (snake) is small enough yet and presently in a small rough tank that it helps to limit what I get for him. But Scamp (water dragon)... I keep telling myself no more until I need it, and then getting more.
I have no pictures but all of them are spoiled.
Every morning i wake up to take my three cockitiels and sun conure out. I take the Conure, Pixel to the restroom with me. She refuses to go in her cage so I wait until she poops on the floor, so I can clean it up and start my day. Then I have my breakfast after setting out bowls of food and water for them on the table. Occasionally I let them have one of my cheerios. On my days off, I spend the entire day with them. About once every two weeks I get them a new toy. Each of them have their own specific way of being petted.
Radar the destroyer of things, will let you pet him on the head when he feels like it. But god help your fingers if you scratch it wrong. He will also steal your keyboard keys if you are not paying much attention to him. He will only shower if I take him into the shower, hold him at face height and shake my wet hair at him.
Dali the Tsundere bird. She only wants to be petted when she wants to be- no wait- she doesn't actually want to be petted. But she will cuddle up to you, preen you and give you kisses, and only then you can pet her but only with the tip of your nose. She also likes to jump into my food to warm her feet and eat it. It is a constant struggle to guard my food from all of my birds. She will only bathe in a shallow dish.
Mali the cuddle monster: She needs cuddling all the time. OR SHE WILL DIE. She does not like to bathe, just stand in a shower and get wet and look sad.
Pixel the destroyer of worlds aka little piggy: She follows me everywhere, sleeps in my shirt, needs new toys constantly and will destroy anything she can get her beak on. This bird thinks shes a fish. If there is water, she wants to be in it. She demands fresh water aka dipping sauce to dip her pellets in at all times.

That is so so so adorable. I love birds and reptiles. I used to keep six budgies, but over the years we eventually lost them all to old age. They were Isabel, Icea, Rocky, Charlie, Indigo and Daffodil. My keyboard keys remained intact, though! They were lovely little birds. Rocky was my first, and the last to go; he lived for a very long time, but didn't grow very big at all. He wasn't very friendly though, haha~ We adored him though, he had such a chirpy personality.
I currently have a crested gecko and three emerald tree boas, and they're so beautiful. The gecko is named Buster, and the emeralds are Alphonse, Nero, and Caesar. Nero is incredibly placcid and couldn't care less about being handled or petted, he's a lovely animal to showcase for children and whatnot. Caesar is essentially the same, but gets really mad if he's hungry. Alphonse is just one big meanie and I've had several nasty bites from him, but regardless, he's a pleasure to keep.
I love to have an aviary, but I don't think I'll have the time. I also don't want to risk keeping birds and predatory reptiles in the same room, eek. Even if there is glass between them o_o

My cats always come first. I will ensure they have food and litter before I get food and toiletpaper for myself. They're spoiled rotten with toys but to be honest, they're happiest when I come home with an empty cardboard box. And plastic drinking straws.
Then there's my parents' new puppy. He gets spoiled rotten with toys and treats. The other day I loaned my parents a doggy harness for car rides.
I recently knitted them a new blanket for their cat carrier.

He sleeps a lot on the job.

How cuteee!
My dog is kind of cat-like in the sense that he loves cardboard boxes, but he'd rather shred them than sit nicely in one.
