I'm guessing this type of role play goes here.
Anyway, make a character in the real world and/or the Terraria world. If you have no idea what Terraria is, go here: www.terraria.gamepedia.com
I guess just a regular role play with Terraria in it. I'm starting now (And I'm guessing you writing in first person view? Because I can't post all four character views at once.)
It was a bright, sunny, day. The birds were singing. The squirrels were chattering. The bunnies hopping, including one swimming with no legs on it. Yes, that's right. A bunny fish. That's what I was trying to catch. With the master bait as my, well, obviously, BAIT, and the golden fishing rod with 50% fishing power along with many other things to increase fishing power, the bunny fish was soon caught. I magic-mirrored home to my and my siblings' NPC village.
"Well, that was quick," Blair says to me.
"What do you expect with all this great fishing power?" I say back to her. I walk over to Tyler, the Angler, and give him his fish.
"It's all going as planned!" he says, and he gives me a gold coin.
"Wow, you already has 5 platinum coins," Dragon says as he sees my reward.
"Oh, it's alright," I say. "He's just a kid."

"Oh, great, Rift, what've you done this time?" I mutter, looking around. The portal I'd jumped through a few seconds ago closes behind me, leaving me in the middle of... somewhere. Great.
It's a utopia-like paradise at the moment; full of things like pretty, multicolored birds and little rabbits and grass so green it makes my eyes hurt. I notice a figure standing near a crystal-clear lake, wearing a purplish suit of armor that makes it look like a beetle and holding a fishing rod of sorts. It suddenly reels back the line, admires a caught fish, and pulls out a shiny device that looks to me like a plate. The humanoid disappears.
I shake my head. I'm alone now, except for an overly-friendly squirrel that's been pacing in front of me for a few minutes now. I shoo it away, and try to find out which direction is which.
"If the Sun is there... and it's moving over there... then that must be North... dangit!" I've forgotten. This isn't Earth; the people of this world probably have completely different navigational tricks. I sigh, close my eyes, and spin in a circle, stopping once at random. I set off in the direction I'm facing.

The bell rings. Everyone starts to file out of our school. Time to go home! Yes!
"See you tomorrow," I tell my friends. I try to quickly get to my transfer bus, so I don't end up sitting next to someone random. I find an empty seat and sit down. Later, I switch to the home bus to take me home. I chat with my friend, arrive home, and start to ply my game, Terraria. I play as a terrarian in beetle armor, and sometimes as a turtle armor guy and a shroomoite armor girl. I named them Epic, Dragon, & Blair. And there seems to be a new player here... named Phoenix.

I've been walking through this forest for at least an hour now. And I've started to notice things. The ever-so-slight pixelation. The distant music that repeats itself over and over and OVER. And the little snippets of code and text that flicker and disappear. Great. I'm in a game. I'm pretty sure it's Terraria, but maybe a younger or completely different Terraria dimension than the one I once visited.
As I ponder this, I nearly run into a house. It looks vaguely familiar. Around it are several more houses, built in relatively the same way. I see the beetle-humanoid near one, talking with a child and two more humanoids that can best be described as a turtle and a glowing mechanical mushroom. I rush over, waving one hand in greeting.
"Hey! Beetle-person!" I yell.

As my siblings go to talk to other NPCs, I hear a girl . And she's calling out "beetle-person" She runs up to me.
"Yes?" I say politely.
"Am I in Terraria?" She asks. "It looks like it."
"Yes," I say, " This is the Terraria dimension! Welcome!"

I fall headfirst into a room as the portal I conjured spits me out. Breathing hard, I stay there for a few minutes, finally gathering up enough strength to open my eyes and stand up.
"Oh, lovely. Finally, I'm not greeted by hostile alien life the moment I--"

I look up and see a boy doing something on a computer. "Um... hi? Sorry about that, just a bit of a dimensional travel accident. I still can't control where I go... wait, why am I even telling you this?" Mentally smacking myself, I continue. "Anyways, the name's Cece. Now, I need a little basic information. Your planet, the year, what sort of life-form you are? And... have you seen a girl named Phoenix, 18 years old, fiery red hair and a fiery-er temper?"

I brush a few wisps of my ebony hair from my face, waiting anxiously for a response.

(hmm... I might have to double-post to show Phoenix's perspective :$ )

"Alright, thanks. Hey, I recognize your voice from somewhere..." I tap my chin thoughtfully. "Never mind. Anyways, Beetle-Person, sorry for randomly crashing into your dimension. My cousin's a dimensional traveler, and I think I accidentally let go of her arm while we were traveling through the Rift. Speaking of which, could you keep an eye out for a girl with black hair, bright blue eyes, about 15 years old? Her name's Cece. Also, I'm Phoenix."

"Uhh...."
I was getting too much in my head right now. Now it feels like a weight of 100 lbs. or more is on me.
"Sorry... I don't know any... Phoenix.... How'd you get in my house?"
Cece, or whatever, stares at me dumbly. "I travel through dimensions. Sheesh. Now, where am I?"
"Ok, then," I say, "Planet Earth, U.S. That enough info?"
"I guess," Cece says. "Watcha doin' o that computer?"
"Playing a game," I say. "Terraria. But someone named Phoenix is here, and I have it for online use, the server."

"Hmm... I know nothing of this Cece," I says. "But I DO need help. My siblings and I are going to defeat this giant beast."
"It's part pig, part dragon, part walrus, and part fish!" Blair says, running in. "Who's this?"
"This is Phoenix," I say. "Phoenix, this is Blair, my twin sister."
"Hello," Phoenix says.
"What's going on?" Dragon says, coming in.
"This is Phoenix," Blair says. "Don't expect her to go out with you."
"Blair," I say, "What did I say about picking on Dragon?"
"I'm just having fun with him," Blair says. "Sheesh."
"So," I say. "Wanna help us defeat Duke Fishron?"

"Mm-hmm, that's probably her," I say. "Can I borrow that computer?" I kneel down in front of it without waiting for a response and start to type. Files and pictures and strips of code flash across the screen as my fingers fly across the keyboard. "And... Here she is," I say proudly, showing the boy a picture of Phoenix. "The game doesn't recognize her, not being a Terrarian and all. I hate to break it to you, but... She might really slow down your computer until she gets out of there. And probably cause some other issues, too, but never mind that. It'll be able to handle it." I pat the side of the keyboard with my hand and sit down on the floor. "Now we wait, I guess. No way I'll be able to warp into the game... it'd take a ton of luck and chance and other stuff. So. What's your name, first of all?"

"Of course I'll help," I say. "Haven't gotten a chance to use fire in a long time. Now, about that Duke Fishron...what's with the sudden need to kill it? You seem a bit... enthusiastic when it comes to running into the face of danger. Admirable quality, in my opinion, at least..."

"Oh, I say, "It was a long time ago... My father was the almighty ruler of this village. He planned to make many more. But, he was a one who had to slay every beast in order to be a true king. So, after soon killing Golem, he went over to the ocean to fish. He used a truffle worm as bait. After a few minutes, he got a bite. But he caught Duke Fishron! He fought, and he fought, but alas, Duke cast too many cthulhunados at him. That's a tornado with raging sharks in it. Our mother was so sad, she killed herself, too, and forgot about us. We had to start over, and now we've come to a part where our dad was. Only, he didn't have the terra blade or horseman's blade, then. Enough flashback, let's go!"

"Uhh... Ethan. But everyone calls me Blake. Since your a 'dimension traveler' I guess you could call me both? I don't know...."
"Why are you so nervous?" Cece asks.
"Because I've never met someone like you!" I say. "I mean, I'm just a high-schooler who started school 4 days ago, 6 including weekends. Didn't you go to school? You look human enough...."

My eyes darken sadly. "There's a big difference between 'human' and 'human enough,'" I say. "And I did try to go to school, once. It was a disaster." I smile once again at the memory. "I don't really have a last name, and when I told the secretary 'I'm from a different time, so no, I don't have a last name,' she didn't exactly let me into the school. She told me to go back to my residence or call in a responsible adult to confirm my case. I got out of there fast, before she could do anything else."

"Wow..." I say. "That's... I'm sorry. But I agree, let's kick some Duke Fishron-y butt!" I grin and pump my fist in the air. I follow the three siblings as they head towards the ocean.

"So, do we have everything? Bait? Fishing rod? Potions, armor, weapons, all that good stuff?" I ask, looking out at the vast blue expanse of water. I shiver. "I'm not a big fan of the cold," I add under my breath. I run my hands together and hop quickly up and down in an attempt to stay warm, finally turning away from the trio and conjuring a sphere of fire in my hand. I smile as the warmth spreads through me, before extinguishing it and turning around again. "Okay, I'm ready," I call.

"You're not prepared," I say. "You need armor, maybe some weapons." I magic-mirror home, grab some titanium armor and the Inferno Fork, and teleport back on a teleporter.
"The set bonus helps you dodge attacks," I say, giving her the armor. "The Inferno Fork should help greatly with your fire powers. Also, why did we walk here instead of teleport?"

"Oh...." I on't know what to say now. Except...
"I'll do anything to help you get back with Phoenix," I say.
(We need more people.)
