Just follows at her side, sword up at the ready for whatever would come at them. He kept his blood red eyes on alert as he looked around, keeping pace as he wondered what could have made that bloodcurdling sound
The pair shortly arrived at the cave that xiara was in. Saraxx looked at the caves entrance, being fully aware predators tend to hide in them. She glanced at Akara before heading inside.
He nods and walks in just behind her, and eyes started to glow a bright red, making a little light bounce off of the cave walls as he held his sword out in front of him, his ready stance as he walked down, and the shadows seemed to actaually pull away as he walked, like they where afraid of him. But actually that was just Akara bending the shadows away so he could see what he was doing
Saraxx looked around the cave picking up the scent of xiara, toyomaru, and the mutant. She glanced around the cave more before seeing the mutant. Her jaw dropped when she saw it. Odd creatures were normal to her, but this looked like a demon from stories she was told as hatchling.
he looks on at the sight before him, but his expression remained unchanged as he walked over and across the pile of broken bodies, his sword still at the ready as the shadows slinked away from the young man. He, unlike Saraxx, saw things like this everyday before lunch, so this was, in a sense, very normal for the child of the Pit
Oop: i think we should wait for the others here
OOC: AGreed
The mutant had ignored the sight of these newcomers, for his focus was only on the caretaker himself. Xiara had not yet noticed the travelers, but his focus would remain the same regardless, for loss of such would probably mean an instant death for either of them.
The mutant crouched down on it's anorexic lanky legs, as if it was ready to pounce on Xiara. But yet it remained steady. It was aware of the danger that Xiara's sabre carried, one wrong move by the monster and his head would be cleaved by the sabre, but then again, if Xiara was to make a foolish move, he too would face a quick death.
The whole world had gone silent to the two of them, a move had to be made, but by who..? Xiara, The Mutant, or by one of these newcomers who trespassed the grounds of this unnerving duel?

Saraxx lwoered herself to the ground when she noticed the mutant seemed to not notice her, preparing to launch herself at the mutant, hoping that she was large enough to tackle the mutant.
Stands at the ready, his blade up as he waits for a moment. He knew not to make the first move against something like this creature, he had fought large beasts before, but he knew you had to wait for an opening before you could dive in and strike. But the bigger they are, the harder they fall
Saraxx flared her Comm feathers up, trying to signal Akara saying that the Mutant hasn't noticed them. she then realized he wouldn't be able to understand the signals from her Comm Feathers, if he could even see them as she was trying to get into one of the darker corners to get behind the beast.
Minutes of pure silence past. A terrible wait to see who would die in this duel. The mutant creature bit it's tongue in anticipation. His body was changed much and so was his appetite. Perhaps as cruel joke, or perhaps even a way separating the weak from the strong, Jiokal had become a devourer of sentient life. He now only saw his caretaker as a feast.
A salivating Jiokal could handle no more. Suddenly primal instinct took over, and the mutant jumped in for the kill, but his impetuousness would prove to be severe. Xiara was now able to lunge his sword straight into the enlarged chest of this beast, whose body could no longer be contained by the light, yet durable armour of the Serpentines. Impaled, Jiokal let out an ear-tearing shriek of self-defense, but it was cut short by a metal punch to his jawline. The utter shock made Jiokal jump from the caretaker's blade, the wounds began to heal, but now his defensive point was blown, and yet still, he had not taken much notice of the bystanders, of whom if left unchecked, would be a serious threat...
...There was no more wait now, the bloody fight was on, but who would come out alive?

Saraxx leapt, letting out an equally ear-splitting wail. She slammed into Jiokal with her feet extended, and immediately dug her scythe-like claw into him, before grabbing onto him with her free hand.
After being dazed by Xiara, the stunned Jiokal was unable to parry Saraxx' sudden attack. He let out another roar of pain, but also of sheer anger. Now an animalistic mess of an Actarian, the mutant Jiokal acted on instinct once again. Picking up his 'arm,' which was now more or less of misshapen shambles of bone blades, Jiokal angrily threw his arm at his attacker.
Xiara was surprised, as unlike Jiokal who simply did not pay attention to the bystander, Xiara had not yet known of this being's presence. Nevertheless, it aided in taking down the mutant. Now that Jiakol was distracted, Xiara crept behind the monstrous creature. Once he had stopped swinging himself like a barbarian the caretaker would be able to land a killing blow.

He let them duke it out as he held up his sword, waiting for a good opening. As Saraxx flew at the beast, impaling it with her claws, he rolled to the left side of the monster, and seeing his opening he held up his blade, and let loose a powerful beam of black energy into its side, hopefully it would do some major damage to it, it was a beam strong enough to turn some of the weaker monsters in the Pit to dust. But that was there, this place and its beats where different from anything Akara had ever seen before
(Sorry for not replying sooner, yesterday was super busy)
Saraxx bit down onto Jiokal, hoping to do a bit more damage. She tried to tear out flesh and muscle, but was having difficulty doing so due to the lack of muscle in her jaws.
Jiokal was overpowered, and he finally knew it. Realising how futile this battle was now, the mutant lost his primal urges and entered a new, near-death bliss. The unrelenting attack from the Saurasapien, the attack from the caretaker, as well as the energy wave from the third attacker, of which hit him directly helped confirm that he was completely overpowered. With what reason he had left, Jiokal slowly fell to the ground, his dying body slumped onto the red bones of his unlucky victims.
After Jiokal's death, Xiara came out of darkness of the cave corner, looking over the former Serpentine's corpse. The caretaker grinned for moment, remembering his former brother before becoming... this. He had always been brash, even when sane, and now it seems that such brashness was what killed him so easily, and so quickly...

Saraxx hopped off when Jiokal hit the floor. She glanced at him, ready to attack again if necessary.
Smirks lightly, seeing the beast go down he sighed "Well that worked.." he mutters under his breath, and turns to face the new person who had come out of the shadows just now. Seeing how he looked at the beast, the small amount of sadness in his eyes he looked between the two, and then it clicked "He was human once, wasn't he?" Akara asks, his demon voice echoing in the hall
